I came for lunch. The guy I didn't know his name, he didn't want to wait and patience for me because I'm deaf, didnt understand him talking to me. Then other coon came and helped my order but he got wrong food. Then finally got my order food right.... Hope they can commuicate with deaf customer better this time. 4-Star Review I'm giving Taco Margarita 4 stars this time around. Overall, I was very happy with my experience, especially the food and drinks at the bar. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the soup -- it was much spicier than I remembered from my last visit. It was so over the top that I honestly couldn't finish it, and at first I thought it might even be a different soup than before. That said, everything else was great. The queso dip was really good, and the guacamole with chips was really, really good as well. The quesadillas were delicious, with fajita meat that was seasoned very well. The fajita meat overall was absolutely delicious -- definitely over the top in a good way. I also ordered a Dos Equis Mexican beer and was very happy with it. The bartender was extremely busy, so it was a little hard to get attention at times, but I understand how hectic it can get. Parking was excellent, and I had no other complaints. I'll definitely be returning again and look forward to updating my review next time. read more

Just ate there and it's my new go to for Tex-Mex for sure. It's super cute on the inside very good vibes. I'm a certified salsa snob and theirs was just spicy and salty enough so addictive. I had the street corn app and it was totally delicious. The floutas were so crunchy and a huge portion. Add pickled onions to get the best bite! The bang bang shrimp taco was probably the BEST shrimp taco I've had in Austin--perfectly fried without being overly greasy and packed with amazing flavors. Amazing beef Barbacoa tacos! Their tacos are so flavorful and moist! Their tacos also come with some Mexican rice which I normally skip but this stuff is so tasty! The portions are generous and the food is great. Their chips and salsa are the best we've had in Austin. We also really enjoyed the street corn and the pozole soup. And when brought to their attention that you didn't get double meat or that they forgot the queso, the response is that they will take it off your bill (no "let me get that for you", etc). My sons first soccer game got canceled so we decided to go here as a team, tried calling to give them a heads up before but they never answered. Once we got there we were seated promptly however they wanted to put us all far apart from each other. We had originally asked to all be at the same table but were told that they couldn't do separate checks if we did that, which I'm sorry but that's crap, that just being lazy. once seated it did take them about 10 mins to bring water chips and salsa to us(fair there were a lot of us). However there were two other tables that came in after us, whose orders were taken and food bought out before they even took anyone from our groups order. As you can see from the photos I just posted, the food that is advertised is a far cry from what you get. These were supposed to be mole chicken tacos and they were kitchen sink nothing tacos. We ordered three different kinds of tacos and all three containers look exactly like the picture on the right. Terrible food. We will never return. It's just too darn bad because this area needs decent restaurants. Save your money and go someplace else.
