I've heard good things about Veracruz so was excited to try them! This was also a pretty interesting locations. It's on a food truck, in a park with several other food trucks too. I had the migas originales, grilled steak, grilled fish, and al pastor. I really enjoyed all of them! I liked that they all came with different toppings. The migas originales also surprised me because I've never had an egg based taco before. The tortilla chips added a really nice crunch to the tacos. I also had their watermelon juice, it was humongous! I found the price to be reasonable for the size.

Absolutely mind blown by the corn tortillas! I really messed up with flour for my breakfast taco. Do not make this same mistake! The al pastor was delicious too! You had a bit of sweetness from the pineapple with each bite. The aesthetics were so cool! Tasty tacos being served from a hipster truck?! Yes please. The quality is as authentic as it gets. Be ready to wait around 25-30 mins for your order on busier days.

Breakfast taco and coffee pairing at the Webberville food truck park is a must do if you're visiting Austin. I was expecting to like the el tradicional taco the best, but the migas poblano taco surprised me! I've never had tortilla chips in a taco before and it added such a nice crunchy texture that was missing from the other taco. Reminded me of chilaquiles in the best way.

Where's my bacon? I ordered bacon. There is no bacon. Too far to go back. #83. Sad. Disappointing.

Their tacos are super stuffed and delicious. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The food truck park was pretty cool and had a great vibe. Will come again when in the area.

A co-worker will often stop at Veracruz and bring tacos in for our team. I like them so much that I started going on my own and perhaps too often. The tortillas are made on-site and are some of the freshest I've had. I like stopping by for brekkie tacos and though I have had a few different types (other than breakfast as well), I always go back to the chorizo, egg, & cheese. This place manages to merge those three ingredients/flavors together better than most. It's like breakfast melting in your mouth and taking you away to a far land that exists only of the most delicious breakfast finds in the land.

Wowzaz- I got the originales and poblanos. The originales was my favorite. They are some hefty tacos so two were more than plenty for me. Chilaquiles inside a breakfast taco ?!?!! I didn't know I needed this in my life and now my life is forever changed ! For the better of course. This area is also super cute and chill. Outdoors, plenty of seating, other little goodies along side. it's a must visit and try if you're in Austin

This is now my favorite taco truck experience! Really delicious and abundant ingredients. The spice and seasoning were perfection, and the quality was the best I've had. Seriously, you gotta try these tacos!

This place is an Austin standard, but it's just really overpriced for what they are giving you. Got two breakfast tacos. Good size. Pablano migas one was quite good. The basic chorizo and egg one was meh at best. But $7 each. Look, these are basic breakfast tacos. Two for $7 is reasonable.

YUM - was told we needed to stop by Veracruz when here visiting in Austin and it did not disappoint! The location we visited was an assortment of food trucks. We came during the week, so it wasn't too busy. I can imagine that area getting quite packed on the weekend. We started off with two huge delicious agua frescas (pineapple and mango I believe). They cooled us off from the Austin heat and were huge! We decided on an assortment of tacos, each more tasty than the last. We were so hungry I didn't even get a picture! We tried the Al pastor, steak, migas, and breakfast taco as we were there around brunch - I would order all again. Loved everything we had and if we had more time on our trip we would have definitely stopped back again for more. Next time I'm in Austin, will definitely make this a required stop!!

Nothing is more Austin than 2 tacos and a Topo in this petite food truck paradise. Avoiding the Tacodeli/Torchy's dispute, Veracruz brings the freshest ingredients prepared more traditionally including Barbacoa, (veg & pesca options too), along with Aguas Frescas - all good, all natural. They're serving my favorite grab & go chips & guacamole (outside of home), Migas taco (try poblanas!), and my favorite Fish Taco in Austin! With 7 locations stretching from downtown all the way to Round Rock, there's never an excuse to go hungry.

SO good. Everything tasted fresh and natural, full of flavor and made with care. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt cozy and authentic. This is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to

Veracruz Taco Shop absolutely deserves five stars! We had the steak and barbacoa tacos, and both were incredibly juicy and delicious. The steak was perfectly seasoned and tender, while the barbacoa was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with authentic flavor, and the fresh toppings brought everything together beautifully. The service was friendly and fast, and the overall vibe made the experience even better.

Veracruz is overpriced, mid, and not even that authentic. Go to El Primo or Paprika instead.

I've driven by El Alma many times being in the Austin area, but I never went until last Thursday, and after surviving a brief monsoon, I was glad to get a few drinks and eat some good TexMex with my large party just before a wedding. The best way to describe El Alma is that it is TexMex that is Austinified. Everything feels a little more unique and special than your classic TexMex options. I started off with a Mezcal Margarita that put a little hair on my chest and got me going. My group ordered two of their Nachitos, which were these nice nachos. For my main entrée, I got 3 Al Pastor tacos on corn with a side of their rice and beans. Their pastor was served with pineapples, onions, and cilantro with limes on the side. They were great and I immediately crushed them all. I thought their rice and beans were pretty good as well and a step above the typical TexMex rice and beans. The server was pretty attentive throughout our whole visit, and I honestly have no complaints about what they had to offer. Pricing on the meal and drinks was pretty standard for Austin, and I didn't think anything really took me out of the experience. On top of that, for being in Barton Springs, there is quite a bit of parking. I would love to come back at some point in the future and hang out on their rooftop bar because that seems like a lot of fun. Shoutout to El Alma for being a TexMex oasis saving me from the MoPac traffic. RIYL: TexMex, but better than your average

So we were thinking of tacos or Mexican food and my daughter suggested this spot as she had come here with some friends and really enjoyed their sopecitos. I had never had a sopecito! What is that! So we had to try... We were lucky to arrive at the right time (9 pm!) where we got their last table!! Make reservations or something because this is another one of those places that fills up! So- we were taken care of immediately: chips and some very hot salsas were set on the table while we chose. They menu is in QR code format, but we asked and got paper menus as well. Well I got the chicken sopecitos , my daughter got the pork ones and my partner got the meat tacos. Everything was delicious, the food arrived promptly, the portion size was perfect and bountiful and everything was super enjoyable. I really enjoyed trying some New Mexican favorites. Next time I will try some other delicacies since I always get tacos tacos burritos or quesadillas: time for some new items on the menu! Enjoy!

We started with their famous house Margaritas with Tajín, and they were absolutely delicious--and definitely strong in the best way. For our main dish, we split the vegetable Enchiladas de Mole Poblano, served with rice and black refried beans. I wish the enchiladas had more vegetables. Everything on the plate was outstanding, and I truly think they have the best mole in town--rich, complex, and unforgettable.
