They marinade it for 24 hours with espresso and brown sugar, omg I ate the whole thing I will recommend this to anyone I know traveling to the Indianapolis area. One of the most welcoming places I have been to in awhile. I have been down in this area for a few days for work from Detroit. The food is great, staff exceptional and good craft beers. My wife and I have been to Bubba's several times and absolutely love the place. If you are into lots of big screens with a sports bar atmosphere then Bubba's is the place to be. The menu is affordable and tastes great. Some of my menu favorites are the double burger as well as the wings. Newer place in Fishers. Usually pretty good food. Messed up my to go order once. The cooks need to stop coming out of the kitchen. Great bar food, I have had most things on there menu and everything has been great. It's a sports bar with TVs everywhere. Great to bring your family and a good place to go with just the guys. I frequent Bubbas 33 in fishers quite a bit, about 3-4 times a week. I dont know whats changed, but the music selection has just gone to crap. There used to be a variety of music that plays, as well as the music videos, but now they only play country music, and any other music outside of that is from the 1950-60's, which just so happen to be music videos of POC. From what I understand, this is not a country restaurant, in fact the decor doesn't even match the current music selection. I dont know who is in charge of that, but it would certainly benefit you guys to change it back to what it was. I asked one of the employees, last time I was there, why the music was changed, and she mentioned "2-3 customer complained about not having enough country music" The typical demographic in the restaurant is white people, so are you guys trying to cater to that demographic? We got our seats right away. We ordered within five minutes of siting down. The waitress brought us our drinks. That was the last time we saw her for 50 minuets until we flag her down. We asked her to check on our food. She came out and asked us what we order. She went into the kitchen then came out and said are you guys sure you ordered. To start off it took forever before we saw our server (Adam) and got drinks. Not only that but then they got the drinks wrong. My water wasn't refilled once. Well if this wasn't the biggest surprise I've had in a long time! A resident of Indy for nearly 12 years, I always saw Bubba's as a strip-mall type bar with cheap drinks specials and a questionable patronage. Boy, was I wrong - and now sad as I've moved away! Walked in and noted two bars - one geared more towards outdoors with huge garage doors that lift up and let the breeze flow freely; and one for the inside. Everything looked crisp, clean, and inviting. The outside bar is over 21 only as noted on the door. We were meeting friends in the outside bar (It was the dead of winter and was still warm, had a great atmosphere, and gained my preferred seating arrangement) mid-day on a Saturday and found seating right next to our friends. The bartender was on us in a second with a warm welcome and a presentation of the specials. We ordered drinks and I was given the "what, you haven't had their pizza?" look by my friend. I let her take the reigns and she ordered the buffalo sriracha chicken pizza. Holy cow if that's not up there with the top pizza's I've had in Indianapolis. I was blown away. It's a buffalo chicken pizza with bleu cheese scattered amongst the sauce, mozzarella, and then drizzled with sriracha. Holy goodness in a pie was it amazing. And oh-never-fear for the mild-palate patrons, it's really not that hot. Usually anything labeled with the brand sriracha is guaranteed to make me cry, but this, not so. It was perfectly balanced. Who knew this would be on my list of must-return-to locations in Indy. read more

To be completely honest the food wasn't horrible. The server was great. I did however feel so bad for her because like about 4 other servers she needed help from a manager and when she tried to ask for help from her so called manager, he completely ignored her. All he did the whole time I was there was flirt with the bartender. So, I asked my server if she could get the manager for me. She walked up and tried to get his attention for 4 mins and he just ignored her. Finally, she just told him that her table wanted to speak with a manager. He got very upset with her and crappy. He stated that I should've asked for it to be cooked well done, which I did. And then he stated that they are still weeding out some of the "trash" that they have for servers. Hands down my favorite place to eat. Personally, I live a few hours north and pass through the area often. I always make an effort to stop in whenever I possibly can since all of my experiences have been phenomenal. Firstly, the service and atmosphere Bubba's has is second to none! Waiters and waitresses make a deliberate effort to make sure every visit is a pleasant one. Numerous TVs display sports games and music videos so people can enjoy the big game. Several "33" decorations are hung on the walls. The food itself is spectacular. The smoked chipotle wings are a must. These wings are not your typical wings. The sauce has the perfect balance of sweet yet spicy. The meaty meaty pizza is my go to for the main meal. The crust tastes fresh and flavorful. The sauce is perfect and the assortment of meat is great. The restaurant also has a great burger selection. Bubba's 33 is a must visit in the Fishers area! read more

Seems like a fun place that has plenty of unhealthy food. My kind of place. We waited around 35 minutes to be seated on this Friday night. The place was packed. This isn't a criticism, just giving you an expectation for crowds. There are TVs everywhere, so you should be able to find your team or sport on one. We were greeted by our server who explained the burgers and some other menu items. The seating was pretty packed and we were back to back with our neighbors. We ordered drinks and then an appetizer, chips with quest & chorizo. Not bad. The salsa was also good. Sadly, we ended up waiting quite a while before our server came back to see how everything was and then she realized she hadn't taken our order yet. We ordered burgers and continued conversing. It's loud!! Between the music, people talking and people talking louder, it was very distracting to sit there. I had the bacon burger, 33% of the beef is ground bacon. Burger was OK, but not even close to the size of the bun. It was much smaller. The shoestring fries were a good touch. Wife had the normal burger. Same size problem, maybe more so. They just built this place recently just down the street from us, so we were eager to try it out. After hearing quite a few reviews about it, most of them said it was about average and the environment was way too loud. Also read that it can take quite a while to be seated if it's busy. Upon arriving, our group of four was seated in less than five minutes even with a good sized crowd in there already. While it took about 5 to 10 minutes for us to get our drinks and orders in, the service did seem to keep moving swiftly. I got one of their chicken meals and it wasn't bad, they had a nice selection of brews, and the pricing was fair for what we got. I will admit their beer mug seem to be a bit larger than other places which I was immediately a fan of. Even with a good sized crowd there, the environment wasn't loud enough that it gives you a headache. Overall, I think the service was decent but not above and beyond personable, the food was decent, the pricing is decent, but I have to agree that this ranks as an average place and nothing amazing. it's worth checking out to try it, but not much above that. read more

I wish I could give a 3.5 but I'll go with 4 stars. My husband and I went for dinner. The atmosphere red was fun and the place was packed. With them being so busy the service was quick and the waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered the crooked fried cheese as an appetizer and they were vey good and a nice price too! For dinner we both had burgers. The burgers are thick and juicy and the fries are amazingly seasoned! Now here is why it gets 4 stars. After we ordered we realized the waitress never asked how we wanted our burgers. We said ok fine let's pray they are too rare. The burgers were VERY greasy. They need a grease dripping station before serving them it was not fun have to wipe the grease off our hands every time we took a bite. And getting half way through them the burgers were pink not like the first bite which was cooked enough not to be pink. I normally wouldn't mind but I'm pregnant so I don't like to take chances with food. I didn't finish my burger because of the grease and it being undercooked. I would go back but I'd def make some adjustments when ordering if I ever ordered a burger again. read more

We went to the one in Clarksville Indiana and it was awful. First off, the place is way WAY too loud. You cant even hear the person next to you talk because they are blaring ridiculous and not to mention obnoxious music. There is TV's on every inch of this place and the ones that do not have sports on them have sexually explicit, immoral, inappropriate content on them. People cant even go to eat dinner without having a television in their face these days and have to be constantly entertained instead of enjoy and visit with the human being they are with. We order our burgers and it takes over 30 minutes to get our food. Just burgers. My husbands burger was completely wrong, he had to send it back, then after another 15 minutes finally gets another burger and its wrong AGAIN! When he asks that we not have to pay for our meal after all of that, the waitress walks away before he even finishes his sentence. It was an awful experience. The burgers were flavorless and basically just gross. I suggest to not at all go to this place and waste your time or money. read more

To call it slow would be an understatement, the odds of your order coming out wrong is 50-50 and the only time the servers seem to smile is when they lay your check down and are hoping you'll forgive their general malaise up to that point and give them a tip. Arrived at 4:30 on Saturday and were promptly seated in Bubba's Garage, the bar. Service was prompt and attentive. The server didn't quite know the bar menu but did know what was on tap! We had the artichoke appetizer and it was fine. We both had burgers, my wife's was cooked perfectly except for the small chunk of bone in it. (They grind their own meat) .
