Perfectly cooked with a great char on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, and coated in an incredible sauce that had just the right balance of heat, sweetness, and flavor. Every bite was packed with bold taste without being overpowering. The wings were clearly fresh, not dry or rubbery like you sometimes get with boneless wings, and the sauce clung beautifully instead of pooling at the bottom. Great place to catch a game, grab a beer, eat some food; the trifecta!!! Another place I've visited many times and forget to check-in or write a review. The bar seating is a large space with a multi screen tv at the end. It has one of the better beer selection in the area. There is regular restaurant seating on both sides of the bar. During the warmer months, the patio is packed. Servers and bartenders are typically great. Food typically comes out quick. Foods that I like: pan pizza, pretzels, shrimp burger, turkey burger, and of course the chicken wings. I get the hermanaki wings. With the wings, you can get snack size or regular portion. Typically, there is plenty of parking. Occasionally on a big game day, parking can be a challenge, but it is very rare. read more

Good basic, and I imagine dependable, sports bar. A very nice beer selection and good variety of bar food. We started with two of their Bavarian pretzels and chips and salsa. To me, pretzels of this type have become pretty standard bar fare and they either meet expectations or they don't, not really room to be exceptional. These met expectations. Salsa and chips were blah. Ladies at the table had fiesta salads and said they were very good. I had wings done Herman Style and I must admit they were well above average in every way. Had We stopped in for a late-night dinner and drinks on a Wednesday and were really pleased with the overall experience. My friend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip and the Pork Tenderloin--both were delicious, though the dip was the only slight disappointment since it came out after the rest of the food. I went with the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, paired with perfectly crispy French fries and plenty of ranch, which I definitely appreciated. I was a little bummed they didn't have the Ace Pineapple Ale, but the Key Lime Ale on draft was a nice substitute and not half bad. Our server was respectful, attentive, and consistent without being overbearing, which made the experience even better. The only reason this isn't a full 5 stars is because we came straight from an outdoor activity and were starving, so having the appetizer delayed was a bit of a letdown. The food here is delicious and if my review was just for food taste and quality, it would be a five-star review. Unfortunately, other factors pull down the rating. The service is very underwhelming. Our server didn't seem to have a large section, but rarely came back to our table. A runner came out with our buffalo chicken dip and didn't provide or offer us plates. I feel like when you're splitting a dip three ways, you need plates. We asked for side plates, and two of the three we received were dirty and all three of them were wet. We had to wait a lot longer than reasonable to get our check and to go boxes. It was just not very good service. Best wings! Hermanaki bone in are the best. My only complaint is the celery and carrots that come with them. The celery is gnarly, roughly torn, not cut and the carrots are hardly peeled with dirt on them. Ale Emporium was a great spot to visit for dinner while we were in town for spring break! The food was yummy! The drinks were delicious and tasty! I ordered a lemon drop martini and although it didn't come in a martini glass.... It was on point! Strong and tasty! My son ordered the pizza and although it was different from what he is used to (more like a deep dish pizza), he still ate it! So it must have been good! My husband ate his entire burger and I ordered the wings. Now, I would have given this place a 5 star rating but there were three issues! First- my son's grilled cheese was soggy due to the mandarin oranges sat on the same plate. Second one, they are known for their wings. It was good but, the flavor of the spicy and sweet sauce was a little off putting.... It had to have some sort of spice in it like Cinammon.... I wasn't expecting that for my wings so, they weren't my fave. Also! The first Ale Emporium we went to didn't allow KIDS! We were from out of town and trying to get dinner with our kids.... I wish the website would have told us this, in advance!!!!! It was not fun but we recovered and made it to this nice one in Fishers. During our holiday visit, we decided to stop by after hearing positive reviews. We kicked things off with the hermanaki wings, mac and cheese appetizer, and a side salad, all of which were delicious! I ordered the chicken parm hoagie but was let down by the thinness of the chicken--it was mostly breading and pounded too thin, which isn't ideal for a chicken parm sandwich. I ordered a pizza, three ordered boneless chicken wings, one ordered mac & cheese, and two ordered burgers. There were salad options as well as other sandwiches and appetizers. The staff supported the two young children with us, entertaining them, asking them questions, and ensuring their meals were correct. It was a sports bar theme, local sports, and many high school jerseys on the wall. A full bar is available. The one thing that I would say is the children's menu is located on the drink menu but on the backside of the drink menu, so it wasn't conveniently located. We had tried to visit a different location, but due to Indiana laws, I wasn't able to take my son there. Learned something new. So, we tried this location. I can tell this is a very popular location. It was packed. Very, very spacious inside, with an outdoor covered patio as well. Tons of TVs! The bar was pretty large as well and I know I would love to sit there on NFL Sundays. Our service was fine. She seemed hurried at times, but I understand as it was very busy. Either way, she was attentive enough to our needs. The food was okay. The best part of the meal were the wings. I loved the No Way Sauce. It was tough to pick what to eat as the menu has a lot for everyone. I ended up settling on the Black Jack Burger. It was overcooked and dry, and the cajun seasoning didn't seem to be there. I should have gone with a couple of other options I was considering. I also got the mac and cheese and honestly it just wasn't good. For mac and cheese, it needs sauce and there was basically none. I did ask for a side of queso, so it was fine. Waitress said it is all premade and then just goes into the oven. That's not a how mac and cheese should be prepared, but hey, lesson learned on this one. The other in my party felt like the food was good. The sauce on the pizza was very different than I had ever tasted. Tough to explain, but not typical. Not good and not bad. I snuck a quick bite from my daughter to see what she was talking about. This was was tough to go between a 3 and a 4, but just not enough for me to go 4. Wow, this place was very packed at 6pm on a Friday night. We had to wait about 30 mins to be seated. This is a big restaurant, huge bar area, tvs everywhere and a large outdoor seating area. A lot of hustle and bustle. I ordered the watermelon basil mule that was advertised at the entrance but was disappointed I didn't taste any watermelon or basil, only ginger beer. I had the beyond burger and fries. Both were good, nothing really stood out. I didn't care for the fact that substituting chips for fries was $2 extra. The service was slow but was understandable with how busy it was. This wasn't a great experience but I'm hoping to come again when it's not so busy. read more

Philly steak sandwich didn't have much meat and the meat tasted bland. No seassoning or grilled flavor at all. The sandwich was mostly green a LOT of green peppers on a huge thick hoagie bun. The onions were not fresh and also flavorless. The little bits of mushrooms didn't help. The little bit of provolone cheese drizzled inside looked like from a squeeze bottle rather fresh real cheese. Great experience at this place! A little far from my lovely Broadripple but this huge restaurant-bar is a great spot to watch games, listen to live music and have some tasty wings. Some friends decided on this place last weekend since there was a band playing live. We enjoyed almost three hours of music seated on the outside part which was covered for the cold weather and also had ceiling heaters so this winter season is not a big problem for this place. We asked for the large choice of wings with wild sauce, the rub that the wings had was amazing, we also had the stuffed bread sticks and lastly Ihad the chance to enjoy the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter however I wouldn't suggest to try the Terre Haute Duality.
