Pizza has been one of my foodie addictions in life but who doesn't like pizza? Over the years I've eaten at hundreds of establishments from Ny city, Boston/ Connecticut, Miami and everywhere in between! From hole in the walls to nicer novelty places. I've lived in Fl for nearly 25 years now, 1/3rd in South Fl and the rest in Saint Johns county. I have worked my way through the pizza scene here. Bronx, particularly this location, has become my favorite here! My go to for a quick slice, a whole pie, or a casual sit down. Their pizza has the perfect crust! Their dinners are equally delicious! The locations are clean, staff are always friendly and welcoming! It's no secret why they are on their 11 or 12th? Location! Update on this place. Great pizza joint. Good food, great pizza, reasonable prices, comfortable seating for twos and fours. Nice crust on the pizza - which makes the pizza. Not "bready". Excellent flavors and good service. Plenty of Italian choices - salads, pastas etc. I didn't catch the name of the young lady who served us, but she was hustling - every table in the place was full and ordering and she manned the counter as well as handled every table alone. Ordered a Beast of Burden pizza for delivery. The wait was moderate- it arrived in 40 minutes. They have a wide variety of pizza variations to order from as well as some other notable Italian dishes. The crust was thin and chewy with lots of good flavor. They didn't skimp on the toppings. The price was very reasonable. Would recommend the pizza for sure! read more

We visited this pizza place today and had an overall good experience. The garlic bread was okay -- nothing particularly special, but still enjoyable. The marinara sauce was a little too sweet for my personal taste, though it was still good overall. The chicken parm was just okay. The chicken itself was a bit bland, and most of the flavor came from the sauce rather than the meat. The pizza, however, was really good. You could tell the ingredients were high quality. The crust was crispy with no flop, but not so hard that it hurt your gums -- just the right balance. The service and ambience were both good and made for a pleasant dining experience. read more

My photo does zero justice, I was so hungry I grabbed a slice and threw it on my plate! I ordered 16" Buffalo Chicken Pizza HALF Banana Peppers Bacon Ricotta It was amazing!!!!! I am so happy they opened one down the street from me, because the other two locations are a bit of a stretch. Pizza crust here was soft and airy just wonderful. Chicken was yummy tasted fresh and of quality. They were slammed I ordered online for pick up and waited a bit but nonetheless it was well worth it. Pizza was $25.99 I had 20% off for signing up so my tota came out to $22 and some change. It can't be beat because it was a Great Pizza!!! We'll be back. read more

We an awful experience we had at Bronx Pizza of St. Augustine. It very disappointing that our calzones were cold inside after a long wait of over 30 minutes. Additionally, the attitude of the server was very dismissive and didn't help our have added frustration, especially with her dismissive response about the freshness of the food. We had to wait 20 minutes to order. In addition to 30 minutes for the cold calzone to come out then. Having to wait over 40 minutes for the food to be remade is not ideal either, especially after already experiencing a long wait for the initial order. Overall, it seems like there were significant issues with both the quality of the food and the service provided during your visit.I would not recommend this business. The place is so loud. read more

Excellent service and great pizza. I called ahead, placed an order and everything was right on time.

Ordered delivery from this location while staying at a local hotel in the area. We ordered a 16 inch Hawaiian pizza (pineapple, ham and bacon), meatballs, and buffalo wings with ranch. Note, this option does not show up on the on-line menu but will pop-up in the on-line ordering option. The on-line ordering option is pretty easy to navigate but they do charge an extra fee for using it and certain items on the menu don't show up (Hot 97 is on the menu but not in on-line ordering). Our delivery took close to an hour bc it was a Saturday night. Our driver arrived early and was very polite and we actually had pleasant conversation past the pizza. I took the food back to our room and everything was well prepared and looked amazing but my wings did not have the buffalo sauce we asked for but they did give us extra ranch. The pizza had a nice crust and the toppings married together well. The wings were good even they were not sauced. The meatballs (you get 4) were my favorite, they were dense and flavorful with a nice red sauce and ricotta covering them. Great local location but some hiccups made this review a 4 star review and not a 5 star review. read more

I stopped by here for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon, I had a glass of wine with a small pizza to share and it really hit the spot for me. In the past I tried the chicken parm pizza at their other location near downtown St Augustine, that was really good as well, so when I saw another location in St Augustine I was excited to try it. To say the least, it did not disappoint. I am hoping that they can open a location in Orange park, or Jacksonville, as that is closer to where I live. New York style pizza authenticity with a nice crispy crust and great tasting. I have had many and also worked in an establishment like this. I have tasted many across central Florida non-chain restaurants and this one is comparable to the original Italian style that I was raised with however, if you're looking for a family dine in, Bronx misses the mark on service, which is awful here. Your best option is to order it to go, I prefer all the toppings, minus the olives, which to me tastes bitter. We ordered ours at 7:48pm on a Monday and was given 20-40 minutes as the ready time, got there at 8:10, they said 20 more minutes, so we came back at 8:40, they said 15 more minutes, then said 5 more, and finally at 9:16pm it was ready! There was no explanation to why or a straight answer ever through the process of when the order would really be ready, it was very frustrating having young hungry children ready for dinner. The food was delicious when we got it- I wish the experience and service level matched the delicious food. I'm not sure that I would go again or order take out unless there was no rush and 2 hours was ok. We have been wanting to try their pizza and we ordered the small Beast of Burden. It comes with pepperoni and meatballs. We asked to just have meatballs. I really liked the addition of some whipped ricotta. Place was very pizza with full tables and a lot of carryout orders. The service was very good. We came here for dinner over the weekend because our kiddo had a hankering for garlic knots. When we arrived the parking lot was slammed (just beware you may have to park and walk). When we arrived there was about a 35-40 minute wait, which is to be expected on a busy night. We waited outside until our table was ready. My husband did get me a lemon drop at the bar. I will say, it's not one of my favorite places to get a lemon drop, it's not as balanced as it is as a competitor's location. At about the 30 minute mark we were called and our table was ready. Our server was attentive, both serving and handling the bar. My kiddo ordered a whole order of garlic knots for himself as his entree. My mom and I split the chicken milanese and my husband got the meatball/garlic knot sliders for his meal. Service was quick and the food came out piping hot. My kiddo ate EVERY garlic knot.
