Saw good reviews of this chain and tried the Anastasia island location on a Thursday night. Side salds with house and balsamic dressings were good. Went for the Haymaker Detroit style upon recommendation from our excellent server, Tanner. I was at first taken aback by the sweetness thinking that the tomato sauce was adulterated with sugar and then realized this was the bacon jam topping, ha! Pinot noir was nice as well as Peroni. Will defintely be back to sample more Detroit style pizza. Nice to have this chain in the area. read more

Skylar was our waitress and very sweet and friendly and the pizza was some of the best we've found in Florida! The sauce had good flavor, plenty of toppings and offered my favorite type of pizza (deep dish). Just ordered 2 pizzas ...have not tried them yet but beware of the 20% discount scam for registering and providing your email! When I picked up the pizza they said it only works if you on line order. When I tried to order online I was told to call and order because I was unable to order online! I had called them to make sure the coupon would work and they said we will try it. Did not work! I walked in and placed an order for two pizzas large and small. I paid and was told approximately 20-25mins wait.... I pulled out an hour later... never going back, never recommending. I would get them a clock so they can tell time but it wouldn't matter. There were people that came in after I ordered and placed their order... I was the last person to get pizza as they cleared their computer screen of all orders. pizza was poor to fair quality and I learned a lesson. The pizza is seriously the real deal. It is in their ingredients. They use the best. Those ingredients are not cheap. Especially the cheese. I bake pizza at home and have done so for years and years. I know pizza. I have taken classes to bake pizza. What you will get besides layers of flavor in each bite, zero flop, is digestibility. The dough is prepared for 72 hours in a cold, slow rise. You can taste that. You do not feel like your stomach is full of raw gummy dough like the cheap pizza chains. Light, airy, great leopard crust on bottom. If you're in St Augustine this is your go to pizza joint. I am heading down to Orlando today. I see they have a location down off the 4 at Lake Mary. Guess where I am stopping for lunch? She said that we don't have that. Just garlic knots. I am thinking to myself that you make hoagies! Of course you have rolls. Take a roll. Cut it in half. Put some butter with it and charge me. I would had paid. You make a profit. I could return tomorrow night and no one would recognize me. I am of an age of invisibility now. However, I was in this service industry for 30 years. Small pizza shop. Excellent pizza. Perfect pizza dough for a crust. Sells full pizzas or by the slice all day. Calzones, pasta, salads, Great for on the go, lunch sit-down, or take-away. Good service, friendly, courteous. Only down side - they sneak in a 3% service charge on your bill if you pay by credit card. Not readily apparent or discussed. Newest location of theirs I believe. The one down in Flagler beach is a bigger size restaurant this is more like a small NY shop where you can get it by the slice. Tried Bronx House for the first time yesterday. It was delish, just as I had heard! We tried the fried ravioli, meat calzone, and a large pizza. All were best in class! Ingredients were super fresh, dough was delish, cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive and excited to be there! Clean and efficient location. We even received a complimentary cannoli, which I would absolutely order again! We will be frequent consumers, I can't wait to try the meatball hoagie and the chicken parm which looks amazing! If you enjoy long waits (not at the door, but in general after you order), migraines from screaming other customers, incorrect bills, missing parts of your order, and incorrect bills, but delicious food, this is the best restaurant in St. Augustine. As a native NYer, this pizza is spot on; will quickly outgrow this locations space. The pizza, staff and service is that good! Took 1 star away for my only suggestion would be possibly another 1-2 minutes of cook time for a crispier less floppy crust!
