We had stopped by for dinner and was greeted by our wonderful waitress, Shay! She was so delightful and recommended the pork chop which was delicious. The food was great and the service was prompt, even as the evening got busy! Shay really made the whole experience amazing and you can tell she serves with care and heart. Recommend if you're ever in town, the vibe is amazing :) read more

Shay was an excellent waitress. She had a team member Carman that delivered our food and they worked well together. Both were excellent with public service, Very personal & kind. Their food presentation is really nice. Food arrived hot & delicious. read more

TLDR: Super friendly waiter! Delicious food! The place looks like a TGI Friday's reject. We were sat upstairs, and was immediately greeted by a very warm, very friendly waiter. We were a bit early, as we just finished an exhausting day at Arches. So I got the St Louis Ribs. The menu said they were "Fall off the bone" juicy. Mine weren't. But they STILL were very tender and juicy. But I couldn't just slide my fork across them and get all the meat off. I also really like their BBQ sauce... a little vinegary and a LOT sugary... with no heat. JUST HOW I LIKE IT! I also like the mac-n-cheese. Man... UT really has their mac-n-cheese game going! Their macaroni was also al-dente, just a bit of chew, which gives a nice texture to the side. I was never a fan of potato salad, but theirs was decent. At least they don't put celery in theirs... Yuck! -.-" My wife ordered the lovely honey-siracha salmon. She was worried at first, it would be spicy, cause y'know... siracha. But thankfully it wasn't that hot at all. The fish was very tender, and the sauce actually complemented it very well. It was a great dish! We also ordered some nachos and salsa as an app (Remember we hiked ALL day in Arches. My fitbit said we walked SEVEN MILES! SEVEN MILES! And that's not even counting the hills. Ohhhh the hilllllsss!). We really liked the nachos. They definitely tasted home-made. We even brought them with us so we could snack on them during the cold TV-less night under our glamping tent. The only downside was the mousse. I don't know when they changed the definition of mousse. Maybe I didn't notice the "mousse" revolution? When I hear mousse, I picture "light, airy pudding". This is the second time we ordered mousse, and it came like this thick fudge mess... It wasn't that pleasant. Even my wife, the huge chocoholic, could barely eat 3 or 4 bites. We mushed a bit of it around, to make it look more eaten than it was. Now, our waiter... was super dope! He was very friendly throughout the whole meal. In the middle of the meal, I decided to add an ice-cold Coke zero, because, ARCHES! When the bill came, I noticed he didn't charge us for it. After a bit of discussion with my more-honest partner, I let him know that he forgot to add the coke. He said, "Forget about it! Good Karma will come back to you" Aww isn't that nice??? Good Karma did come back to him, because we tipped him an extra $5 (to partly compensate for the drink AND for his nice demeanor). If you ever visit Moab (whether to ski or ARCHES), then you HAVE to come to this place. I'm not sure if the waiter will still be there, but his name was Mikey. He's definitely worth the extra star! read more

Good was soooooo good! If you're on the fence like we were about coming here- go for it! Husband said the buffalo chicken sandwich was amazing and my burger was great. Onion rings were delicious and sweet potatoes fries with drizzle of pure joy, not sure what it was, but perfectly sweet and salty! Our server Melena was so sweet and service was impeccable! Vibes were cozy, too- sat right by the fireplace! read more

We had the best meal here while staying in Moab. Absolutely delicious! The Sriracha Honey Salmon and Outlaw Pork Chop both cooked to perfection! Service was a five for Melena our waitress who recommended our dishes. And you can't forget the sweet potato fries... they put this place on the map! Definitely recommend and we look forward to coming again. read more

We narrowed it to this restaurant because we wanted to eat grilled chicken, and they had good offerings on the menu. The service was great - Shay was attentive and had a good personality. The menu in the Moab food guide didn't have prices, so to me that meant it was expensive (which I expect in a tourist town). The cheese curds were $16, so with two teas, two chicken sandwiches, and cheese curds we got out tip and all for $85. read more

Melena was our waitress and she was outstanding! She gave us great recommendations and was at our table at all the right times to refill water, check on our food, and bring the check quickly to help us get out the door and get to Arches at dusk. My outlaw pork chop was delicious. The garlic potatoes were seasoned perfectly as was the perfectly cooked asparagus. My son had the ribeye with onions and mushrooms and loved it. It was cooked perfectly. There was a short wait but the awesome host was friendly and did a great job of getting people seated as quickly as possible. Would definitely eat here again. read more

Vinny gave us great service and rhe food was great! Cozy atmosphere. Recommend going early to avoid long wait times on busy weekends with lots of visitors. read more

Service is okay; be prepared for inattentive waitstaff and waiting for basics like ketchup and mustard for a long time (it isn't brought before or with the meal, everyone had to ask). Food is horrible. This was by far the worst meal we had in Moab. The burgers are gross (the meat was a weird flavor and texture, they were severely overcooked). The music is weird and just bad and they have no shortage of speakers blaring it directly into your ears. This is not a place we would give a second chance to. read more

We were tired and it had been a long day, waited to get into the Broken Oar. Not optimistic, until we met Shay. She turned our experience into a great night, if we could've given 6 stars we would have. I don't write many reviews, but felt the need to highlight great service. Food is good. Ask for Shay and you'll do Okay read more

Came to the Broken Oar on the hotel's recommendation. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I had the beef brisket and their famous sweet potato fries. My husband opted for mashed potatoes with his ribs. Both had excellent smoky flavor and the portions were generous. The restaurant was hosting a wedding the same night but they still managed to get the food out quickly. It's a lively friendly place. read more

We loved this restaurant! Vinny was the best server, very friendly and accommodating! I had the breaded chicken sandwich and fries, my husband had the brisket and sweet potato fries. All was excellent! The ambiance and decor is great. Only downfall of this place is that it is often very crowded with a long wait for a table but we went midweek and were able to get right in. If you're in Moab, definitely put this one on your list! read more

My mom and I walked in on a Monday night. We waited about 30 minutes. The food was worth the wait. I got the Miners cabin burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was exactly what I wanted after hiking at Arches National Park all day. The sweet potato fries have cinnamon sugar, salt, caramel, and lemon zest on them, making it really tasty! My mom got a sirloin steak and it comes with asparagus and potato but she substituted for onion rings. I tried some of my mom's steak and didn't think it was anything too special. read more

Sue was amazing. Food was great! Definitely would come back again. Atmosphere was great too.

Food wasn't super hot/fresh when it came out but still tasted great. Patties were a little dry. We also got the cheese curds which were fun, but not quite worth the $16. Sweet potato fries have a sweet twist. Worth stopping when in the area. read more

Very good food and waiter Franklin personable. Legendary wings were great and pulled pork too. Sweet potato fries excellent.

I wish I took pictures of the food but even the photos wouldn't show case how yummy it was. I got the siracha honey chicken with asparagus and potatoes. The sauce and chicken were to die for. The kids meal is served on plate on top of a frisbee that is free. My husband loved his steak. We sat outside and enjoyed the patio and games. We will definitely be back. read more

Outstanding sirloin steak dinner, reasonably priced. Very popular, even on a Monday night. Manager from Georgia very personal and waitress, Melissa, from Arkansassy was the best! We'll definitely be back next time in Moab! read more

Not great. The wedge salad was good but I was a little disappointed with the shrimp scampi. My main complaint was the garlic toast. I asked for a side order and for $3.50 got two little pieces of bread not much bigger than a ritz cracker sprinkled with cold Parmesan cheese. Garlic toast shouldn't be that hard. We also had a couple glasses of wine in tiny glasses with maybe 3 ounces of wine. Don't think I would go back. read more

Excellent place to eat. Started with frid pickles, which were great. My husband had the French dip for dinner, and I had the honey sirachi chicken. Both were excellent. The chicken came with fresh veggies and roasted potatoes. The entire meal was done well. Brooke was our waitress, and she was very attentive and kind. Would not hesitate to come back. read more

Just ate dinner at Broken Oar. Had explored Yelp for options, always my go to app. Did not disappoint. Had the Medallions, per recommendations. Spouse had the smoked ribs. Both good, yet medallions the best! Food cooked to perfection, hot & nice balance with mashed potatoes & asparagus. Had wine & ordered lemon blueberry cake to go! Also fabulous. We have driven past this place for years and promised we'd try it. Today, we did. At 5:30, the place was packed and it was 20 minutes before we were seated. Our server was great, super helpful and on top of things. The restaurant was jammed with a number of large groups, so our meal took a while. However, it was worth the wait. Generous portions, great preparation, everything was delicious. First time in a while asparagus wasn't cooked to death! If you like chocolate, get the triple chocolate cake. We'll definitely be back! read more
