JAY GOT DOWWWWN! His family secret sauce recipe won us over! We originally were headed to Be Spoke and saw the waiting line at Jays Pasta! We quickly found out it was the place to be. Even our ATV local company we rented from earlier in the day - we're having dinner there too! Now let's talk sauce! I am a sucker for a good flavorful sauce! This place did not disappoint... I was licking the bowl! The entire restaurant was as buzzing with people but yet they managed to get the food out quickly and always stopped by our table to check on drinks! Oooh! And I almost forgot to mention their pineapple mezcal marg was delicious! Definitely recommend this spot for local ambiance and local food!:D

We stumbled upon Pasta Jay's while visiting in the middle of June. It's a corner restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. Even with the Summer heat, it was so nice sitting outside and people watching. We definitely had the Pesto Pasta, I believe the other dish was the Eggplant Parmigiana. Both were very good! Im actually shocked by the Yelp reviews because I thought the food had a lot of flavor and soul to it. Maybe it was because we had finished a 5 mile hike early in the morning and had our first meal here, but the food was great! All the servers were fantastic too. We got served pretty fast, no complaints. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 would be because of the pizza. The crust was thin, and parts of it almost broke off like a chip instead of thin crust being able to mold to your NYC pizza fold

We came here while on a trip and wanted a good Italian meal in between the hikes. We were sat quickly. I would not recommend someone to stop here. The interior is cheesy and the seating was a bit tight inside The food was very okay- the pizza was very thin with little flavor, and the mushrooms on top seemed to be from a can and not fresh. The salad was strange with no dressing on top and seemingly large food items thrown on top instead of chopped up. Our waiter brought us everything we needed, but was not very friendly and even came back to the table to take our order when we had already given it.

Randomly stopped here after coming back from a hike at Arches and needed some carbs. Service was great and so was the food, especially for being a Saturday in a touristy town. Would recommend.

What a nice experience at pasta jays! When I looked at the menu I could see right away it was American Italian and not traditional dishes but that's what made this experience special. I had the dinner salad and the green chili ravioli. All meals come with garlic bread which was great to soak up the extra sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly which isn't always easy when it is baked. Sometimes it will come out soggy. Not this pasta! It had just enough hint of that green chili. It hit the spot! Omar was my server on the patio who was friendly and attentive! I sat with my very well behaved pup in her carrier. The main road is noisy but to be expected with semi traffic and those loud off road 4x4s. If you want a more quiet experience u could ask for indoor seating. I loved it.

Place was very busy, but we were still able to snag a table outside. Started with a Caesar salad that was tossed with too much dressing. Had the chicken Parmesan for the entrée. Pretty average overall, wasn't a big fan of the flavor of their tomato sauce.

We came here because it was Christmas Eve day and Antica was closed. We loved it and ate way more than we were thinking we could. We had a huge salad to start. Then my husband ordered the chicken Parmesan and I had the eggplant Parmesan. Both of them were absolutely delicious and I ended up eating all my eggplant. Both of them came with a side of pasta, which was cooked perfectly al dente. Service was great and attentive! We finished the meal sharing the lemon berry cake that was surprisingly tasty and not too sweet. We didn't used the restrooms, but the place looked overall nice and clean. Great experience!

The food was simply poor. The drinks weren't even great, and the Alfredo sauce was suspect. The rustica salad says you get a pizza on the bottom, when in reality it's lettuce on a cracker. Service had no issues thankfully. I'm gonna DoorDash bc I need food.

We went here after a long day of hiking and it hit the spot! We got the antipasto salad to start and it was filled with a bunch of toppings and was so big the plate barely fit on the table. There was a ton of meat and vegetables on it and came with enough dressing to cover it all. We also got the garlic bread with 3 dipping sauces. All 3 had unique and taste flavors. Our favorite was the Alfredo. For entrees we got the chicken parm and Alfredo. We ate it all we were so hungry. The sauces you can tell are home made (in a good way). We weren't expecting much being in a small town but this place was spot on for some good Italian food. Overall i recommend this place for anyone looking for food Italian food in moab! Only thing that was a little awkward is how tiny the tables are. Our food was coming out so fast there wasn't even enough room on our table for everything so we had to hurry up and eat.

Spaghetti w/meat sauce. No red pepper flavor at all (personally hate.) Noodles -crumbled ground beef- then sauce on top

Probably one of the best marinara sauces I've ever had. The sauce has a garlic roasted flavor. But it's not like other sauces with garlic. This one is more of a roasted. And the bread is amazing and the staff is wonderful.

We were in Moab for Father's Day, and went here for lunch. I liked the cool little downtown area of Moab. Kind of reminded me of downtown Scottsdale in AZ. Anyways..........we were seated right away and service was on top of it and friendly the whole visit. To eat, I went with the Hagan Option (3 items) and chose manicotti, stuffed shells and chicken parmigiana as my 3. I went with the tomato cream sauce (well worth the $2.00 extra). My wife and kids split a pizza. How was it? Hagan- Bomb! One of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. The manicotti and stuffed shells were stuffed with a wonderful ricotta and then topped with a lot of melty cheese and that bomb tomato cream sauce. The chicken parmigiana was nice and crispy, perfectly cooked, flat out delicious. I LOVED this dish. Pizza- They do a thinner crust pizza. Nice char on the bottom of the pizza. My kids and wife thought the toppings were good, but weren't the biggest fan of the dough/crust (I was....they just have whack tastebuds sometimes lol). Would definitely come back if I'm in Moab again. This was my favorite meal of our quick 4 day vacation.

Pasta Jay's is one of those Italian places you just want to come back to after a long day at work, or after a long time away from Moab. My friends and I missed it every day when we were in the Sierra Foothills of California. If you're coming to eat something low calorie, light, and healthy this is not that place. This restaurant is homey and feels like eating with family. My first time I ordered the pesto ravioli and second time I ordered one of the spicy red sauce sausage pastas. You know it's good when I come back for seconds :) The staff was super helpful to us during the ordering process and later when I helped with picking up the takeout.

They were a hit! Be warned: these are not personal pizzas; this can easily be shared with 2-3 people. We also got 2 salads (their mozzarella and bread on the side is delightful) and a pasta alla bolognese. But the pizza is the real star of the show here: they handmake it in front of you, put it in the woodfire oven, and serve it to you fresh.

We were pretty excited to see a Neapolitan pizza and pasta restaurant in Moab. The reviews looked…read moresolid, and from what I remembered from our last visit many years ago, there were not many pizza options in town. We ordered the Salsiccia e Funghi, a sausage and mushroom pizza, along with the mussels in white wine sauce appetizer, homemade Italian cream sodas, and one additional limonata soda. The pizza was okay, but not the quality I would expect from a polished Neapolitan-style pizza place, especially at this price point. The mussels appetizer had potential because white wine sauce is exactly the kind of dish we usually enjoy with bread. Before ordering, I specifically asked about the bread because we like having enough to sop up the broth, the way you would expect at a good Italian restaurant. Our waitress said she would bring as much bread as we wanted. There were three of us, and the appetizer came with three pieces of bread. Given the earlier conversation, we later asked for three more pieces. The request seemed to bother her. When she delivered the extra bread, sensing her frustration, we said she could add it to the bill, and she told us she already had. That was frustrating because we had just discussed it before ordering. We were attempting to be more gracious, and she missed the mark with her response. She could have said ok, or thank you, or "no it's ok I told you could have as much bread as you wanted for the mussels" The mussels themselves were also uneven. Several had not opened during cooking, which is generally a sign that they should not be served or eaten. With mussels, the usual food-safety rule is: if they do not open during cooking, do not eat them. The FDA's consumer seafood guidance says clams, mussels, and oysters should open during cooking, and the ones that do not open should be thrown out. That made us question the quality control and preparation of the dish. The cream sodas were mixed. The berry version was delicious, but the mango version missed the mark. It was not sweet at all and tasted like the mango may not have been ripe. A little simple syrup, or ripe mango, would have helped a lot. The unripe mango soda ends up tasting a little like pine sol smells. We were also disappointed because the prices were more in line with what we would expect from a higher-quality meal. For the items noted above, plus one additional limonata soda, the meal came to over $60. I typically tip over 20%, but I took the extra bread charge off the tip, and the tip was still over 17%. Overall, this was not a terrible experience, but it was disappointing compared with what we were hoping for. The food had some good ideas, but several details felt off, and the service created a communication gap that left a bad impression.

He says nothing to us. We assume an incorrect order as well, begin a slice as well. BUT Not the pizza we ordered as it was the initial one that was correct. We ask for the original one he took from us. - NEXT he RUDELY PLOPS the original pizza on our table and takes the second one without any explanation or discussion. Quickly walks away. Now my wife and I are confused and stunned at the disrespect (petulance) from an adult man . He proceeds to slam the wrongly ordered pizza beyond the counter and glances back at us with frustration. Others in the restaurant witness his odd behavior as well. We respectfully did address his actions with the cashier but did not hear back from him.
