I loved my taco plate. The veggie burger was a little bit soft but good along with the queso and spinach dip. Queso was not the hottest (temperature wise) but service was nice and prompt. Clean inside with plenty of seating. Ambiance had a cute western feel. For Mexican food in Moab I had no complaints. read more

Server tries hard but he brought two cups of coffee when we ordered one. I chose The Golden and he had the ham and cheese omelet. He has been here before and liked their breakfast so that's why we came. Yeah no. The Golden wasn't anywhere near golden. Two eggs over easy, bacon, white toast and hash browns. How can you go wrong? Apparently by using pre-made hash browns and bacon. The metallic taste of the hash browns was yucky. Left an aftertaste as well. The bacon was so lackluster that it couldn't have been called bacon. Eggs were fine. Butter is cold so it doesn't spread well, even after we tried to warm it between the toast. His omelette was much better as it has to be cooked fresh but his hash browns were also meh. When I go out to eat I expect the meal to be as good but mostly better than what I can make at home. This was not that. The booth chair had crumbs on it so I had to clean it off myself with my own tissue paper. Restroom was clean which was nice. And I applaud the server for asking for a Google review from patrons but he should have realized that I wasn't going to give a good review. We didn't go back for breakfast the next day. The 3 stars is for restroom cleanliness and server trying hard. read more

I got a single strawberry sliced into 4ths which was extremely disappointing with the menu says pluralized berries. Ha. A 2nd strawberry is too much to ask for i guess. My waiter was super nice and got me refills but he wasnt around when i wanted to add coffee or get an additional side for my order. Saved me money though. The green chili chiliqueles was very good and paired with 2 sunny side up eggs and homefries. Im glad i popped in on my trip through Moab, id try another spot next time. read more

Ordered some pizzas for a work event, we needed it to be tax exempt but they ended up charging us tax. Every time I call and ask about getting a tax refund the person on the phone pretends to not hear me and say "Hello" multiple times and then hang up. I know he can hear me because he will answer all my questions until I bring up a tax refund then he will pretend he can't hear me. This is really frustrating because I work for the state and we need all purchases to be sales tax exempt. I live in Salt Lake and can't drive down to settle this. It's one thing if they can't give us a refund or whatever, but to pretend to not hear me because you don't want to help me is really rude and frustrating. I would rather have a conversation and at least try to figure something out. I have called at least 4 times now and he has done the same thing every single time. This is how the conversation will go: Him: "Hello Moab Grill how can I help you?" Me: "Hello, I need help with a tax refund, can you help me with this?" Him: "You need a refund?" Stopped in on our way through the area. Nobody acknowledged us for about 10 minutes then we asked if we seat ourselves and the guy sat us at a table. We got drinks and queso dip and waited like 20 minutes and he never came back. He seated and took orders from 3 other tables that arrived after us. We flagged him down and he said he'd be right back. While we were waiting another person came in with a service animal, not ESA, and was told the dog could not be inside and have to go eat outside on the patio. Ordered one hamburger - no seasoning on the meat, very bland and so dry it was nasty. One grilled Ruben w/swiss cheese and sauerkraut. The meat was store bought sandwich meat that was slapped in a skillet and was rubbery. The sauerkraut was from a can... The French fries were obviously left over from lunch and warmed up for dinner and were mealy and not edible. My goodness. This was fantastic. 16oz ribeye, mashed taters w/brown gravy and salad with ranch. Wife had ribs and same sides. Made to perfection. Ribeye did have seasoning I had not seen but it did not detract from the flavor of dead cow. I always add garlic salt and it was "da bomb" good. Go, eat, relax and be refreshed. After waiting for approximately 5 minutes, I had to flag down a waiter to ask. He mumbled something about some woman with a list. I waited awhile longer and no "woman" appeared. I was there approximately 10 minutes while several staff walked by without asking if I needed assistance. Meanwhile, several people came in behind me. When they saw that there was no one seating people they left. I finally left and went elsewhere. read more

Not a great experience. We came in on Thanksgiving on a get-away to Moab. We walked in and waited and waited at the reception desk, while they took a long time taking care of someone for door dash or take out. Then they left and no one was there for a while, finally he asked how many, and found us a table for two. They serve a Thanksgiving dinner, but neither of us wanted that. I saw them coming out, and they looked ok. My husband ordered the dyablo burger, and I had the bison cottage pie. Both were meh. My cottage pie wasn't what I was expecting. It was bland, and I thought it would have a crust. I was also looking forward to having it with a beer, but this place didn't serve any alcohol. It was busy for the holiday. I overheard another customer on the phone who was having the Thanksgiving dinner, and he said, "this is the best Moab has to offer" LOL. They do have a couple of TV's, so we were able to watch a little bit of football. Service was bad, and the iced tea - well I might as well just had water. It no flavor at all. read more

This is exactly what it is supposed to be. It's an old diner that hits on all cylinders. I'm so glad I tried this spot. Food - I got the Huevos Rancheros and they were super I'm point. They came with a red or a green sauce but the waitress was rad and gave me both. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were lovely. These were a bit different then I've seen them before but I really enjoyed the. Service - My waitress could not have been more lovely. She had my coffee full the entire time, gave me great recommendations and gave me red and green sauce on my Huevos rancheros, and we just really nice and helpful. Couldn't have been better. Loved the decor ad well. I threw up some pics to show the old fashion-updated style they had going. read more

The fish & chips were supposed to be "their own special tempura batter." It was more like bread crumbs. The fish was like fish sticks, and why was it brown. The wings I ordered naked with the sauces on the side. The Buffalo sauce was what you would expect, and the menu said the other sauce was a Thai BBq. It was nothing but regular BBq sauce you buy at the grocery store. The onion rings were basic supplier supplied rings like you get at the store. The service was good and the ambience was what one would expect in moab. The food was puzzling. I had a Greek salad that had salad dressing on it... I didn't know the Greek salads had dressing on them. I had the Mediterranean plate as an appetizer. The hummus was being dip and I don't know what the other thing was. It was sautéed vegetables that seem like they were from a can. I do applaud them for using more than just the standard can of olives in the Greek salad and appetizer. Are you in Moab visiting? Well, I understand. And we were hungry, so it came down to what wasn't packed. We saw Moab Grill had an open parking spot, so we dove in. We ordered a chicken sandwich to share and a cup of soup. The cup of soup was on point! You can tell they are happy with the recipe they are using. The chicken sandwich was delicious and satisfied our hunger. I wanted to keep this place a secret but I know how it is to look for somewhere to eat in a busy town. Stopped here for breakfast with my oldest son and his girlfriend. It was midweek, so no waiting. Staff was friendly (albeit a tad forgetful when it came to refilling water and coffee). I had the tomato/pesto/feta omelette. Very good! Tomatoes had been the highlight (the feta was almost an afterthought and was barely in it). Regardless, thoroughly enjoyed it. My son had the Monte Cristo and he too enjoyed it; struggled to eat it all due to its size. His girlfriend had scrambled eggs and a pancake. Also tasty (but how can you really screw those two things up). I'm not a coffee snob; but this stuff was excellent!
