Not many pizza options in Moab, so we decided to take a stab at Canyon Pizza. Nice and clean interior, plenty of seating and light from all the windows. You walk up and order from a host at the counter, then get your food delivered to your table. The Bacon Steakburger pizza is insanely good! So many flavors and the pickles with the white BBQ sauce drizzle is addictive! Salads were good, but be aware the Caesar salad has chicken chunks in it. Not my fave, but lots of value. read more

The service was sort of self-service, since you order at the counter and get your own drinks. The pizza was great. The prices were fair.

If that's what they told you, you could incorporate it like this: The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. We waited 45 minutes for a small cheese pizza. During that time, customers who arrived after us received their food, finished eating, and left before our pizza ever came out. We had also ordered other pizzas that arrived about 25 minutes earlier, so our order was clearly separated. We politely asked for an update four different times and were repeatedly told that we were "next," yet more orders continued to go out ahead of ours. We were eventually told that our pizza had been pushed back because cheese pizzas cook faster. That explanation made even less sense to us--if it cooks faster, it seems like it should have been easier to get it out in a timely manner rather than making us wait even longer. What made the experience even worse was that the manager yelled and used profanity while speaking to us. We had children with us, making the situation completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Delays happen, but poor communication, inconsistent explanations, and disrespectful treatment of customers are unacceptable. read more

The place offers specialty and customizable pizzas. The first three toppings are free, with a $1 charge for each additional topping or substitution. We ordered the 16" Family pizzas (Supreme and Nashville Hot Pie), which are large and incredibly filling, making them great for families. We also ordered a side of the Cheesy Garlic Bread ($14). However, be prepared for a busy atmosphere, especially during dinner time. The crust is somewhat thin but surprisingly doughy and soft, which was unexpected. My favorite was the Nashville Hot Pie. The pickles on pizza -- definitely not something you see every day -- surprisingly worked well. It's savory and tangy, without the sweetness that you might find in a BBQ chicken pizza. The Supreme tasted like a typically Combo pizza from Costco, nothing exceptional. As for the Cheesy Garlic Bread, it tasted very similar to a basic cheese pizza, lacking a strong garlic flavor. We were disappointed as we were expecting a more garlicky bite. You can choose between marinara or ranch for dipping. Super filling and carb heavy. We came here as a recommendation, it was packed at 7 pm and had to wait. Decided to take it to go since there was no alcohol being served. Waited about 20 minutes to get our pizza and it was pretty good but not as good as Antica Form. Driving into Moab and craving good pizza. Canyon was right off the main road and had pretty good reviews. Those reviews were right on! Pretty large parking lot and we easily got a spot on a Wednesday night around 6:30pm. Pretty large crowd inside, but mist were waiting on to go orders. We got 2 regular salads (garden and anti pasta salad) and both were great and regular was large enough for 2. We also got a personal size canadian bacon & pineapple pizza and large jalapeno poppers pizza - both were outstanding. The crust is amazing and really delicious. The jalapeño poppers pizza has a cream cheese base and peppercinis, jalapenos, bacon, etc and great flavor, but not too hot. It's counter service for ordering and the salads and pizza come out Pretty quick. 2 slight downsides fro my perspective; pepsi products so no Diet Coke (my wife favorite) and no beer! The bill with tip came out to $28 for a 12-in pizza and a small salad. If you are in Moab and want to try a pizza Do not let the pictures of the pizzas from this restaurant fool you. We came to the spot after a morning spent at arches. Everyone was overheated and hungry by the time we got here. But pizza sounded oh so delightful. We came in an off hour, so the place was pretty empty. However, we drove by later that evening, and it was definitely super busy. I shared a volcano pizza, which came with pineapple, jalapeño, bacon, and hot Honey. It was actually really spicy, especially the jalapeño. The pizza is really good. Everything came out quite fast and we were all able to dig in. We grab some local ice cream to enjoy with cake later that. They had a really great selection, including a flavor that they said were special to their location. Also, my friend who is gluten-free said this was the best gluten-free pizza she's ever had.
