04/19/26 The best part of the brewery is that they offer $1 3oz beer samples. My husband tried 5-6 different beers which was great because he enjoys trying local craft beer. The wings were delicious and we also enjoyed the onion rings. The onion rings were served with spicy mustard and ranch and having a choice of two dips was nice and created two different taste experiences. The pulled pork nachos were okay, but the pulled pork itself was not my favorite. It wasn't flavorful, but I didn't have high expectations of the pulled pork in the first place. read more

We went for the "distillery" and there isnt one to see. I mean theres a door a couple over that says distillery on it but you cant go inside. We entered the bar to ask about that and they said they could help us. But there is no tasting available. You have to buy a shot of whichever alcohol you want to try. The whiskey was $12 i believe. Ridiculous! You cant offer a sip before i purchase a few bottles? Never seen this before. At any rate we liked the whiskey and vodka so we did purchase a couple. We love trying local brews whenever we travel. And we both love hazies, so couldn't resist Juicy Johnny's made with my two favorite hops, citra and mosaic. Crisp, juicy and smooth, it was very good. My husband had the smoked ribs which were delicious. I couldn't say 'no' to Canyon Blue burger because it had my four favorite things on it; blue cheese, arugula, onion jam and bacon. Stopped in after a day of off roading in Sand Flats Recreational Area. We needed food and cold drinks. They have many craft brews and crafted vodka. Everything was great. We had a group of 10 and most tried the delicious burgers and fries with many choices of toppings. We also tried the chicken nachos appetizer which was really tasty with an avocado crema which I really liked. We tried a couple salads and the Cobb salad could feed 3 people. The restaurant is styled in an old West theme which compliments Moab which is a delightful town, very clean, modern and busy with 4 wheeling people and outdoor enthusiasts. This was our first time in Moab and we saw the brewery and decided to give it a try for lunch. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich that came with Cole slaw on it and a side of fries. The fries were hot and yummy. The bun they used on the sandwich he said was delicious. His only complaint was he said the sandwich was a bit light on the meat. I got the cobb salad with crispy chicken. Not the best Cobb I have had but was still very good. Had everything you would want on a cob salad. I think what I wasn't crazy about was the crispy chicken. We must've arrived in a low season. No wait so we walked in and grabbed some seats inside the bar area for food and drinks. The bartender was great and provided helpful recommendations on the menu;m. Importantly, the waitress even informed us what to avoid on the menu!! We ended up with wings, burger and chicken Cobb salad, and we enjoyed all the food items along with two 5% beers. Great beers but the food missed the mark. My bowl was drowning in dressing with wilted spinach, hard sausage, under cooked sweet potato - it was not good. The Mac n cheese tasted old? We sent it back, it did not taste right. The BLTA was okay, nothing special. While the service was excellent, stick to the beers and skip the food. Went in to grab something to eat and something cold to drink. Took the bartender 8 to 10 minutes before he came over asked for a taste or sample of the heifer . He just poured me a short glass, not listening. This should've been a sign. I ordered the brewhouse, burger, medium, roasted jalapeños. The beer was warm. I got ice water just to put ice in the beer and proceeded to order my second beer with the burger not being there. Approximately 20-25 minutes later, I asked if that burger coming out anytime soon? He looked at me in disbelief since he never put the order in. He apologized. Then he put the order in incorrectly There was no discount or comp for $33 tab. I think a five dollar tip considering the service I received was extremely generous. It was subpar not even mediocre. I get during Easter Jeep. It's more of a touristy situation, but he seems more involved in chatting with one of the locals about someone's daughter and also complaining to the entire bar about his colleague who didn't prep appropriately for him to come into work. Great service. Some very nice beers, particularly the Black Raven Oatmeal Stout. I ordered a spinach salad, it was disappointing. It was suppose to come with cucumber slices, bacon, feta cheese, and red onions. It was a bowlful of spinach leaves and reasonable amount of cucumber slices. There were 2 little clumps of feta, a couple strand of red onion and probably a half slice of bacon crumples maybe less than half slice. Guess I should have grabbed a burger, they were looking pretty good. But I'm camping on BLM land and grilling burgers, chicken and steaks most every day. And was craving some veggies. Moab Brewery was a bit different than expected. We thought there would be an outdoor section since it shows as pet-friendly, but there was no patio. The host told us we could bring Luna inside as long as she was well-behaved, which was a nice surprise. Utah's drink laws made things interesting-I wanted to sample a beer, but since they can't give free samples, they charge $1 for a 3-ounce pour. I went that route and ended up trying three small pours for $3. My favorite was the Black Raven Stout, which I liked enough to get multiple pours. My husband ordered the Moab Especial and the Dead Horse Amber, both of which he enjoyed. Prices were reasonable at around $6 per pint. For food, we shared the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos. The flavor was good, but the shells completely fell apart, making them more difficult to eat as tacos. The overall vibe was laid-back and casual, though service was a little slow. We didn't mind since we were happy to relax. One note: the distillery is located in the same building, but it's not a separate experience. They sell the distillery's liquors at the brewery, but there are no tastings or tours--you're essentially just ordering cocktails from the same bar. Started off with a vodka soda and lime and I felt like the vodka was missing. Not a good start. I should have gotten the wine I initially started to order. Hubby had the NA Clausthaler and said it was decent. I had the chicken tenders and fries. Fries are nice and crispy. Tenders are run of the mill frozen variety. Hubs had the brew house burger and said it was good. He opted for the jalapeño dusting on his fries and said was seriously worried about his heart when I tasted the amount of salt on them. They were just plain nasty. I don't think I would return to this establishment. It's a no go for me! I did tell hubs it only had 3.5 stars. Now we know why. read more

The food we had is really good! The beers are even better. They made indoor space for us and our pups on a 100+ degree day. It wasn't very busy but we were between rushes at 3 pm. Erika was nice. The guy at the front counter seemed bothered by us and our dogs. He could have said no to the request but Yelp said dog friendly....We split the nachos with chicken which had lots of chicken but needed more chips and pico. Menu look good but not executed well. Chicken bowl; is it hit or cold. Farto was warning, carrots were raw or cooked. Chicken was cold. BLAT was fair at best. Fries were cold. Fis snd chips were previously frozen squares, battered and fried. Coleslaw has no flavor. Sweet potato fries were little pieces and cold. TriTip sandwich was mostly bread that soggy from the chimmichurri. The beer however is good. read more

Ambiance was ok as I felt there was so much more potential to make that place really cool. We've been here twice now, and it has been consistent, which is exactly what you want in a restaurant. The burgers are our go to, and we have yet to be disappointed! Portion sizes are good, as is the flavor and available toppings. I can't speak to the beer, but hubs only had one he wasn't impressed with. Glad to have another chance to come back to Moab Brewery once again! We had some friends with us this time and hoped they'd enjoy their time in Moab and some of the places we enjoyed before. We think our friends ordered the mushroom Swiss burger but we didn't take a photo of their order. We got the brewery style chicken Caesar and a crispy chicken chipotle wrap and a couple beers too. Everything was as tasty this time as it had been previously We got a few beers from the beer case to enjoy later and so did our friends. They even got some merch which they wore during our trip. Service was pretty fast for both our drinks and food and if we needed anything they took care of it right away. It wasn't packed yet but it got pretty busy by the time we left so we're lucky we were early birds. We chatted with the hostess who also handled our beer and merch purchases. She also was very warm and friendly. We hope to return again in the near future so we can do more odd the rings were didn't have enough time to do on our visit this time. It'll also give us another excuse to come back to Moab Brewery again. We hope others will pay them a visit and enjoy their food and drink offerings too. read more

It's our first time in Moab, and we decided to check out Moab Brewery. The place has a fun vibe, but the food... not so much. My boyfriend ordered the tri-tip sandwich, which came with two very thin slices of meat--like someone used leftovers and hoped we wouldn't notice. The chimichurri sauce had zero flavor, like it just gave up halfway through. I had the fish and chips, which were super basic. nothing to write home about. The Fat Man and his wife took an adventure out West to Utah. We traveled to several places in the state, and with traveling comes new food opportunities. We stopped into Moab Brewery, a microbrewery known for ales & IPAs, an American restaurant, bar, patio dining & a gift shop. We started with Desert Wings and BBQ sauce. The wings were good-sized, juicy, and cooked well. The skin was crispy, and the BBQ sauce was sweet and sticky, with a slight heat note on the end that tingled the lips. The Bleu cheese and the ranch were made in-house and had great flavor. The order size was large for an appetizer. My wife had the BLTA sandwich with applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheddar cheese, and garlic aioli served with fries. The fries were well-cooked and seasoned well. The avocado, tomato, and lettuce were fresh, and the portions were in proper amounts. The Texas toast was lightly toasted and had a good crunch. The bacon was medium cut but had a good salt level, crunch, and chew. The Mayo added a salt level and creaminess that tied the sandwich together. I went with the Santa Maria Tri-Tip sandwich served with chimichurri, Cole slaw, and jalapeno-dusted fries. The pub-style fries were cooked golden brown, light, crispy, and pillowy on the inside. The jalapeno dust adds some good salt and heat to every bite. It was also served with beer cheese soup with a heavily sweet garlic cheesy flavor and some heat on the back end; it was very thin. The Texas toast was lightly toasted with a slight crunch and was not greasy. The chimichurri had a heavy, vinegary sourness that was overwhelming. The Tri-Tip was juicy and tender with a slight chew but lacked flavor. Moab Brewery serves appetizers, salads, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, fish, pasta, and main entrees.
