Enjoying the Midday Siesta Mexican Lager!
Alden C.

This was a very pleasant stop! I haven't ever stopped in the town of Palisade before even during my time as a Colorado resident. Back then there wasn't brewery here or at least it didn't come up in my Yelp searches which was why I didn't stop before. However you can get delicious Palisade Peaches here so perhaps that does warrant a stop after all. I had a light supper here at the brewery and a beer to go along with it... of course! The salad was just a garden salad but I enjoyed the fact just how fresh and tasty it was. I left very satisfied there. The beer I had was their Midday Siesta, a Mexican Lager which I was enjoying a whole series of at various breweries that I was trying. This beer had pleasant flavor highlights of breadiness, lightness and a touch of crisp. It was very refreshing! Nice location for this brewery! It's in a peaceful part of town... actually the whole town is peaceful it seems where you can kick back and relax from a long day on the road.

Great brewery centrally located right in town! Plenty of beer options and decent food. Live music outside!

Adorable place and great staff. We split a basket of chicken tenders and fries. They were fine. I love both the beer selection and the casual vibe. I'm guessing this place is really hopping' during better weather.

In addition to my recent review: the Woodcutter's Daughter (Oak Aged Imperial Stout) is amazing! Its a stout full of flavor. A strong stout with notes of s'mores and a light smoky flavor. Definitely a dessert ale. Bought several four packs to go. Worth trying if you enjoy dark ales. Cheers!

A nice hang out spot in Palisade. Of course, you don't come to Palisade for beer (or I guess some people could!) but it's a nice change of a scenery since wineries close pretty early, which leaves you with not too many choices for a place to go later in the evening. They do have ciders and a decent selection of very basic food (something for everyone). Lots of seating inside and outside!

This place is amazing. We stopped in for a quick beer and ended up getting food too. Football playoffs were on couple big screens inside and flat screen outside. Place has heated tents as well. Foods amazing. Pretzel with cheese dip and meat sampler. Smoked Turkey didn't need any sauce. Simply amazing. The staff super friendly and knowledgeable on what beer to try. This will definitely be a return trip since it's a mere 20 m ride from home

We stopped by Palisade brewing company for a late lunch and was happy we did. It's a pretty cozy brewery with a nice selection of beers and food. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. Although I really enjoyed the sandwich, I didn't taste much smoke, assuming they probably just use a slow-cooker. Not a big deal for me, because I'm easy. It was a great sandwich regardless. The one thing I think they can improve on is the amount of seating. They could probably use a few more tables to help busy times. Overall, I loved it and will definitely be back.

Food portions were good. Sides were basic. Food was ok and typical for what you'd expect. Price was a little high for what you get. Beer was not cold, but not hot. Flavor was good. It appears to be more fun in the evenings.

We stopped by here for the first time on a Friday night. I was immediately welcomed into a patio full of live music and dancers. Being a lover of live music - I was a fan! The general atmosphere was the best part of our visit. We met a lot of friendly new people, and enjoyed watching children run around. The only reason for the lack of a 5th star is the service. The brewery is popular because it's the only one around, which also gives them the freedom of poor service. After waiting in a very very very long line, we were hastily served beer after fighting our way through "the locals". Locals are important, but so are new visitors..

Actual receipt. What would YOU do?

The beers were great. Going inside to order it was muggy and dark. Really enjoyed the patio outside with the live music.

They took good care of us. Now for the most important part--the food. I genuinely wish I had spent my $60 at McDonald's instead, because this meal was not worth the price. I ordered the fish tacos and was disappointed the second I took a bite. The cod was completely dry, lacked any flavor, and honestly didn't even taste seasoned. The avocado on top added nothing, the cabbage was cold, and the whole dish itself came out cold even though it should've been fresh from the fryer. The chips and queso ended up being the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and he described it as cold, soggy, and way too sweet. He did enjoy his beer, and I liked my drink too, but that alone isn't enough for us to return. I personally won't be coming back, but I still encourage others to try it for themselves--everyone's taste is different.

Beginning with the greeting, they were absolutely lovely, very polite, sat us right away, we went on a non busy day so we had pretty much the second floor to ourselves. The host was lovely and then our waitress came and was just as nice, a great way to start a meal. We ended up getting the buffalo wings, SO GOOD, crunchy, lathered in sauce, tender enough, so flavorful, with a side of ranch. We had the onion rings, and let me tell you, those were BIG rings ! Again, nice and crunchy and so enjoyable. Last but not least, we had the loaded nachos and WOAH! Let me tell ya, this dish can feed up to 4+ people! It was only 2 of us and we were in shock at how big these nachos were so keep that in mind! They had beef, pico de gallo, salsa, cheese and they used different chips too, the regular and the blue tortilla chips, omg MOUTH WATERING! Full of flavor, very well made, everything about them was great! To drink we only had club sodas with lime but they do have a full bar and by the looks of it, they had it all so if Youre a drinker, this is also the place for you! The place was chill, dimmed lights, nice music not overly loud so you can still carry on a conversation , and very clean which is always on top of my list. The price was reasonable and I just loved it! This place was great in every way! Definitely HIGHLY recommend!

My hotel was a very short walk on Main Street from all of the hubbub of "downtown" GJ. I arrived late on Saturday, so nothing was open except for restaurants and bars. The hotel concierge provided me a with a few recommendations and I walked out the door with no expectations. I was surprised by how walkable the area was ... Colorful lights illuminated the night and art installations lined the sidewalk the entire length of Main Street and there were quite a few people meandering about. I wound up at Rockslide specifically because they had a few more unconventional "lighter" items on their menu. Bar service was welcoming and I had a beer in my hand within thirty seconds of sitting down. For dinner I had a mushroom appetizer and their Ahi Tuna Bowl--Both were excellent. Sidenote: the Ahi was seared to perfection. Great beer too! Surprisingly good and I won't hesitate to return should I find myself in Grand Junction again on another trip.
