This was a very pleasant stop! I haven't ever stopped in the town of Palisade before even during my time as a Colorado resident. Back then there wasn't brewery here or at least it didn't come up in my Yelp searches which was why I didn't stop before. However you can get delicious Palisade Peaches here so perhaps that does warrant a stop after all. I had a light supper here at the brewery and a beer to go along with it... of course! The salad was just a garden salad but I enjoyed the fact just how fresh and tasty it was. I left very satisfied there. The beer I had was their Midday Siesta, a Mexican Lager which I was enjoying a whole series of at various breweries that I was trying. This beer had pleasant flavor highlights of breadiness, lightness and a touch of crisp. It was very refreshing! Nice location for this brewery! It's in a peaceful part of town... actually the whole town is peaceful it seems where you can kick back and relax from a long day on the road. read more

In addition to my recent review: the Woodcutter's Daughter (Oak Aged Imperial Stout) is amazing! Its a stout full of flavor. A strong stout with notes of s'mores and a light smoky flavor. A nice hang out spot in Palisade. Of course, you don't come to Palisade for beer (or I guess some people could!) but it's a nice change of a scenery since wineries close pretty early, which leaves you with not too many choices for a place to go later in the evening. This place is amazing. We stopped in for a quick beer and ended up getting food too. Football playoffs were on couple big screens inside and flat screen outside. Place has heated tents as well. We stopped by Palisade brewing company for a late lunch and was happy we did. It's a pretty cozy brewery with a nice selection of beers and food. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. Although I really enjoyed the sandwich, I didn't taste much smoke, assuming they probably just use a slow-cooker. Not a big deal for me, because I'm easy. It was a great sandwich regardless. The one thing I think they can improve on is the amount of seating. We stopped by here for the first time on a Friday night. I was immediately welcomed into a patio full of live music and dancers. Being a lover of live music - I was a fan! The general atmosphere was the best part of our visit. We met a lot of friendly new people, and enjoyed watching children run around. The only reason for the lack of a 5th star is the service. The brewery is popular because it's the only one around, which also gives them the freedom of poor service. Shoutout to Madeline and Chelsea! They were both incredibly helpful!!! They were also quite informative about their menu, drink selection, and local know-how! They need a new potter to make their mugs, as they've run out of earthenware mugs for sale, but man are they Beautiful!! My favorite beer was their Dirty Hippie, by far the best dark beer I've ever had! Their Food is pretty good, but the flavors do fall a little flat.. You'll need salt and pepper.. We had the Kitchen Sink, and their Meat platter, they were out of their brisket... and Their bone in meats...... but it was still rather good. Our favorite smoked meat was their pastrami! Were I to recommend an order, I imagine that their Pastrami Reuben would ve to die for! read more

They were offering service through the bar due to COVID, but who cares because everything was SO delicious. We had the kitchen sink sandwich with the cucumber salad, and they were both so flavorful and fantastic. They smoke their own meats, plus the bread is made from scratch. I should have ordered some extra Cole slaw, it was that good. I'm seriously considering having it again tomorrow. My husband had the jalapeno cheddar sandwich, which was good but a little dry, and the pasta salad- a little of their bbq sauce fixed that right up. We had the hazy IPA and the hazy pale ale, and both were nice and citrus-y. The IPA was very hoppy. This is such a great location in palisade with a ton of beer options! We asked for a flight and they were able to accommodate us while being super informative about all the beers. Who knew that good beer existed in this small town? I'm from SD one of the beer capital of the US and I'll say that Palisade Brewing would fit right in and be one of the better ones. My friends and I walked in and the music and everybody stopped and stared at us for a good ole 10 seconds then back to normal. We're Asian and got stares at everywhere we went in GJ and Palisade, it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. Probably the most they've seen. Nobody was rude or anything but we encountered many many many stares... like we're aliens. Maybe we are, aren't we all? I love love love their NE style bushel of haze, their peach IPA. NE style to me is better than west coast style. It's thick, juicy, hazy and smoother going down. It's basically a very juicy IPA. And that Palisade peach hint in this IPA... delicious!! Especially with my favorite hops... Citra hops with good peach and dankness! read more

They are severely understaffed. If you are going for beer, no problem. But our food order took close to 2 hours. There appears to be only two guys in the kitchen and one was also serving the tables outside. When our food finally arrived, the order was incomplete. I suggest you have the bartenders (who take your order) read it back to you. As we were at the counter following up on our missing food, other people who gave up waiting were at the counter asking to get their money back. We're just here for a long weekend. There's 2 hours of my life I won't get back! Showed up on Sunday for lunch, about 1/3 of the tables were seated. Lots or space and room. I was with a group of 8, everyone placed orders individually. Most of our group got their food within 40 minutes (maybe they trying to sell more beer?). 1 friend got the wrong order and ate it anyways because he was so hungry and didn't care anymore (I know that wasn't helping). Another friend got her food that had obviously been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time, it was dry as the desert. After an hour the server came to our table to deliver another platter, and this transpired Me - "Do you have any idea when #7 is going to be ready? It's been well over an hour" Server - "What did you order?" Me - "Philly cheese steak" Server looks at his tray and sees one there. "Here, take this one" Me - It's ice cold, and is this mine or someone elses? How long have you been carrying that one around? He had no answers, it was pretty obvious he was new(ish). I went inside to try to sort it out and the girl told me they had "number confusion". I finally got a 3* meal after 2 hours, making me late for my 5hr drive home. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! read more

Maybe I am just "getting old" but I found this place to be not even remotely relaxing or enjoyable. It was either sit inside and freeze, or sit outside on the surface of the sun. Because it is so (unjustifiably) popular, the line is super long for food that is mediocre and cider that tasted so sour, it took a wrong turn heading to "flavortown." Palisade isn't really known for their culinary options but even with lack of options, I wouldn't recommend this one. The screaming of the children slapping hoola hoops on nearby tables, sandwich bread that wasn't fresh and bad service, I'll take a hard pass next time. I am sure this place is great for people who want to hear super loud bands in a giant echoed garage so they can avoid conversing with the friends they came with and drinking bad beer. I'll walk the 100yrds and enjoy great drinks and food trucks instead. Call me a downer if you want, but it isn't my scene to stand in long lines for bad food, scream in a freezer with ok bands and drink bad cider. read more

If you're just coming for the beers this place deserves 4 or 5 stars. The beer and the people working at the bar were great. However the kitchen staff or who ever is responsible for the food were absolutely terrible. I completely understand how COVID has affected multiple industries but we were told the food would be about 1 hour, almost 2 hours later we were served our food and the quality was well below sub par. The whole brewery wasn't that busy so I can't understand why it took so long. I like the beer and the food here, but the atmosphere and service were so so. We only went once, so maybe it was an off day. They have lots of outdoor tables in the blazing sun and a few indoor tables + a bar inside, but it is dark and dank in there. We took seats at the bar and ordered a couple beers. It would have been great to know they had a flight or option to taste - we found out after we ordered - but no told us and missed it on their menu. I like the Dirty HIppie (the name and the beer) and the Palisade Philly (which was very big). Nice extra is they have popcorn popper for a fresh snack.
