Staff was very knowledgeable about their wines but for our tasting, there were times when the pacing was off. All the wines we tried were delicious and their outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard was breathtaking and comfy if you wanted to lounge for a while. I wish they had a little food menu but they were gracious enough to bring us a little cheese and crackers prepacked container. However, a full menu of food would be a benefit here. The restroom was clean. This place was recommended to us by local residents and I definitely know why.
This is such a beautiful space. We were on a wine tour and our guide introduced us to Gary, the owner. Since our trip was a celebratory one, our anniversary, Gary brought out a bottle of the sparkling rosé. We ordered a tasting from Marissa, who was helpful giving us recommendations. There are shade sails outside and we were sitting under one, enjoying the snack we had brought along. My brother-in-law was asking questions about the restored cars and that was a fascinating conversation. The vineyard was not only restored to its current state but the owner also restores classic Mercedes cars. The views are spectacular and you can see a great distance. A short rain storm swooped in and sent us running for shelter, but it soon passed and the sun reappeared. Overall great visit. I would recommend going to this winery.
This was the second winery we went to when visiting Palisade, CO. They had a nice outdoor area with views of the mesa while surrounded by the vineyards. We got a flight of the white wines - all of which were very unique. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly in explaining each of the wines to us. He was even giving us suggestions on things to do in the area. Our favorite was the resiling- we ended up getting a bottle it was so good. Overall this place had the best tasting wine out of all the wineries we went to! It was also dog friendly and had a food truck outside if you are hungry. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a chill outdoor wine day!
This vineyard was great! Stopped by on our winery tour last weekend and loved it. There was live music going on outdoors and some food trucks and booths outside to check out. Inside the staff were super nice and helped us out right away. I ordered the peach sangria outside at the tent and so glad I did. It was amazing and so refreshing. It was a group of 7 of us for a bachelorette weekend and they were so kind and let us sit upstairs In a private area for a while to get out of the heat and enjoy some wine. Everyone loved their wine choices N the sangrias.
If you only.have time to visit one winery in Palisade, visit this one! The outdoors area has a great view.of the Grand Mesa and Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Garfield. The red and white tastings had some great selections. They also had a seafood food truck...who knew you could order a hot lobster roll with real lobster meat on the Western Slope? Finally, the owner, Gary, did an amazing job serving and explaining our samples. Awesome place!
Wines were great, location has views for days and the service was amazing! They were doing one of their "Music in The Barrel" events when we were there and although we'd planned to leave earlier, we decided to stay and enjoy the fun! We were not disappointed! Definitely will be back next time I'm in that area!
The service here is SO kind. I loved their wines but they have an incredible staff here. Talking about wines, I'd say I loved their whites. Their reds were ok but the real stars are their whites!
Visiting vineyards in Grand Junction? Don't dare skip out on this one. The tasting, like most places, will be what you want it to be. Put more into it and ask appropriate questions, expect a better experience. The stand out with this Vineyard when compared to others is the beautiful outdoor seating area that is encompassed by Vineyard. Enjoy your crafted vino with a view of the mesa. Amazing. A Ma Zing.

Because it is the slower seasons they did not have the food trucks on a Sunday when we went.
Restoration Vineyards, Palisades , Colorado - July 13, 2026 This is a beautiful winery with a modern indoor tasting room and large beautiful outdoor covered grassy area with lots of tables and chairs that has a nice stage for music events. We tasted indoors. Zander was our server and he was terrific! My wife and I shared a tasting and Zander did a great job describing the wines. The wines I've tried from other wineries in this area typically aren't my favorite. I tend to pick up a flavor that is faintly herbaceous on just about every varietal I've tried. Kind of like a stemy character. Not overpowering, but just not my favorite. Not the case with any of the wines we tried at Restoration. The flavor profiles were spot on. All the wines we had were terrific - Chardonnay, Riesling, Rose, Semillon, Pinotage, Barbera, Cab. Franc, and Red Blend. Winery owner, Gary, happened to hear me mention how much I liked the wines here and how I had been picking up the stemy character from other wines in the area. He explained that Restoration uses a unique processes to help eliminate that character. Realizing how much we liked the wines here, Gary opened a bottle of Semillion that was not part of the tasting flight. It had won a double gold medal at the San Francisco Wine Competition and came in second in Best of class. What a delight! I highly recommend this winery! read more

July 17, 2026 - Palisade, CO Absolutely one of the best wineries we've visited in Colorado! The grounds are beautiful, with lush grass, plenty of shade, and cornhole games that make it easy to relax and spend an afternoon. They also have a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is a great bonus for travelers with pets. We chose to sit inside and were fortunate to have Zander as our host. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tasting experience enjoyable. My husband and I shared a tasting flight of six one-ounce pours for $20, and the tasting fee is reduced to just $10 if you purchase a bottle. The wines were outstanding, and we ended up taking home six bottles. Everyone on the staff was warm and welcoming, and the owner, Gary, even took the time to chat with us about their winemaking process. That personal touch made an already excellent tasting even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return the next time we're in the Grand Junction area. read more

Wines were great, location has views for days and the service was amazing! Excellent! We found Restoration Vineyards on Yelp. It was a 5 star location based on the beautiful setting, atmosphere, friendliness, and wine. They are dog friendly too. The inside bar and serving area is small but there is plenty of room for sitting outside. We look forward to returning! read more
We had a GREAT time here on Saturday, even though the weather was hot. Live music, food truck and a very lively atmosphere. Because of the event, they we're only serving bottles and glasses, which was fine with us since was our second stop of the day and we tasted at our first stop. We had the Albariño and it was delicious. Josephine our "wine angel" was so friendly and attentive, she definitely added to the experience. The whole staff was very welcoming. If you only have time to go to one winery, I would definitely suggest Restoration Vineyards! read more
Stopped by intending to do a tasting, but learned that Restoration Vineyards doesn't do tastings during Band in the Barrel events (and we didn't know what that was!). We were initially disappointed and going to leave to move on to the next winery, but so glad we didn't! We ended up enjoying the Barbera wine on the lawn until closing and had the best time listening to live music, sipping on some delicious wine, and soaking up the awesome and relaxing vibes! read more

This is probably my favorite winery in Palisade. Everything is absolutely perfect about this location: beautiful grounds with lots of outdoor seating space (perfect grass lawn vs gravel that most of the places have), breathtaking views, amazing wine, outstanding customer service. They can accommodate huge groups of people, and have quite a bit of different wines (specializing in dry wine) to choose from. On certain dates they also have live music. Wine tasting is $15 and if you purchase a bottle of wine, they take it down to $5 and apply $10 to your wine. I definitely recommend checking out this place! read more
A must-stop if you are visiting the Palisade area. We decided to opt for a wine tasting as we heard amazing things about this place and wanted the whole experience. The wine tasting comes with 6 pours (3 white, 3 red). All of the wines were delicious, but their white wines are amazing!! After the tasting- we lounged on the chairs under the nice shaded area and listened to a talented musician as we sipped on our peach Sangria. The ambiance was everything I could have hoped for - beautiful scenery, delicious wines, and staff that was as cordial as they can come. We didn't eat here, but there were two food trucks parked directly on their grounds. I more than once looked around at everyone's smiling faces thinking "This place really knows how to make people happy." I can't wait to come back to Palisade to do it all over again and try some more of their delicious wines. Put Restoration Vineyards on your list of wineries to try, you will not regret it. read more
Best winery I've tried in the valley this year! The atmosphere is lovely and so peaceful being that it is a little off the beaten path. The service was warm and attentive as well. I wish I had tried the red wines but, I am a California full-bodied red lover lol, so I tend to enjoy the whites on the Western slope more. And Restoration's whites did not disappoint! The albariño was crisp and had a nice minerality. The vermentino was reminiscent of a chardonnay. The partially shaded patio was the perfect place to relax on a sunny spring day. The views of the vineyard/orchard and Mt Garfield in the distance were the icing on the cake! read more

Saturday afternoon delight We dropped in on a hot July Saturday afternoon after visiting 2 other vineyards. The vineyard has large sun shades stretched across their lawn to provide much needed sun cover. A live band of three were entertaining the patrons. 2 food trucks offered gyros and Thai food. Wine is cheaper by the bottle instead of per glass. Vineyard closes at 5. We would return. read more

What a great vineyard! Beautiful location with plenty of seating indoor and outdoors. We went in the winter and there was a massive fire and heaters. The bar tender was lovely and gave us food and other winery recommendations! Also... free snacks!!! I mean what's not to love. Oh of course, great wine! read more

Restoration is a great spot for outside wine tasting. The little courtyard was wonderful to sit at and enjoy the outdoors. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is because of variety of wines. I am a sweet to semi-sweet white wine lover, Restoration has mostly dry wines. Wine however is subjective to taste. Their tastings you can buy 4 whites for $10 and if you buy a bottle you get $5 off your fee. Same applies for the reds but they only have 3 red wines. If you do all 7 it is $15 but if you buy a bottle it is $10 off your fee. Even though most of the wines were on the drier side, we were able to find a bottle to buy making our tasting fee only $5. Overall it was a great little winery to checkout but I wouldn't necessarily go again. read more
We went here on the recommendation of some friends, and it really did live up to all the hype! The tasting bar was small and intimate, and we had a good conversation with some folks who were next to us. We chatted with one of the servers too, who was he husband of (one of?) the winemaker, who does all the car restorations. Everyone was so nice, and they had a lot of information about the wine. They also had an interesting tasting where you could compare oak-aged versus aged in stainless steel. I think we both preferred the oak aged. Overall this was such a fun experience with really nice people! read more
