The rim rock red is a perfect red/amber ale with the sweet caramel taste, perfect malty notes and smooth mouthfeel texture.

Wow, have no fear, the beer is here. Whether it is after hitting the slopes during the winter season, hopping off the bike, or resting your feet after hitting the trails, this is the base camp to be at! The service will take care of your libation needs, while the food truck secures that hunger pain you've been waiting on fulfilling. The ambiance will invite anyone near or from far. Come enjoy a great beer and have a great time !

Wow how cool is this .....?

What a spot! We stopped on our way from Denver to Moab to stretch our legs and get some mid drive drinks and grub. Food truck there for the night was Little Pink Truck and it was absolutely delicious with some of the best pastrami I've had. The brewery rotates food trucks, so it won't always be there, but worth looking up when they'll be back. The beer was super flavorful and fun! I had 2 of the cherry sours and the boyfriend went with a flight. Favorite of the night was the Chutes and Ladders Pale. It is a little off the highway if you're driving through but definitely worth it. Another huge plus is they're dog friendly with pups allowed on the patio and inside and just about everyone there had one in tow. We'll be back any time we're this way

My hotel was a very short walk on Main Street from all of the hubbub of "downtown" GJ. I arrived late on Saturday, so nothing was open except for restaurants and bars. The hotel concierge provided me a with a few recommendations and I walked out the door with no expectations. I was surprised by how walkable the area was ... Colorful lights illuminated the night and art installations lined the sidewalk the entire length of Main Street and there were quite a few people meandering about. I wound up at Rockslide specifically because they had a few more unconventional "lighter" items on their menu. Bar service was welcoming and I had a beer in my hand within thirty seconds of sitting down. For dinner I had a mushroom appetizer and their Ahi Tuna Bowl--Both were excellent. Sidenote: the Ahi was seared to perfection. Great beer too! Surprisingly good and I won't hesitate to return should I find myself in Grand Junction again on another trip.

They took good care of us. Now for the most important part--the food. I genuinely wish I had spent my $60 at McDonald's instead, because this meal was not worth the price. I ordered the fish tacos and was disappointed the second I took a bite. The cod was completely dry, lacked any flavor, and honestly didn't even taste seasoned. The avocado on top added nothing, the cabbage was cold, and the whole dish itself came out cold even though it should've been fresh from the fryer. The chips and queso ended up being the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and he described it as cold, soggy, and way too sweet. He did enjoy his beer, and I liked my drink too, but that alone isn't enough for us to return. I personally won't be coming back, but I still encourage others to try it for themselves--everyone's taste is different.

Prior to arriving in Grand Junction, I had looked up dinner options and the menu for this place…read morelooked really interesting. So we stopped by on a Monday evening for dinner. This is very much an American version of an Irish pub - basically an American bar with all sorts of green everywhere. The hostess was welcoming until she went to seat us at the table right next to the door when there was tons of open seating. So I asked for a different table and she seemed put off by the request. Our server was Brittney and she took our order. I ordered the Highlander Sliders and hubby ordered the Irish Stew and the Malted Vinegar Chips. I checked to be sure the sliders would be well done. When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.
