    Jalapeno Popper Burger. Amazing!

Staff was amazing and outside patio was relaxing! Beers were tasty and the food was amazing. Enjoyed the music from the amphitheater next door as well. Highly recommended.

We've been to Kannah Creek quite a few times because we're big fans of their beer and their pizza is always delicious. The drinks here also did not disappoint but the food felt like it was missing something. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and while it was crispy and spicy, it needed some kind of sauce because it was literally 2 pieces of fried chicken on a piece of Texas toast. My sandwich had a similar problem. I got the pulled pork sandwich and was really excited for the garlic aioli to mix with the flavors of cheese and pork but I honestly couldn't taste it. That in itself was kind of a let down but on top of that, it also left the sandwich tasting really dry. As always, the beer was good and the strawberry margarita I got was outstanding. Our waiter was also super friendly and engaging. We were able to sit outside and even though it kept threatening to rain, it was a pleasant afternoon. The food just felt like it missed the mark a little bit.

Decent burger that hit the spot. Ordered a flight and the brews were all pretty solid. Service was good.

Love the bombers. I'm so into sour beer. Tried the apricot, peach, and raspberry bombers... all yummy. Our waiter was awesome. Minus one star because it closes so early!! No!!! Why?!!! And I wish they had a roll of paper towel on the table specially when we ordered the wings... Otherwise, great place to hang. Had a great time there.

I think this place should be reviewed as a brewery and restaurant separate. Beer is great, food is up and down and lately more bad than good. Fried chicken was burnt twice! Waitress said it looked fine to her, it was thick so they need to cook it longer. How about just admit it's bad?

Pretzel Bites... they look crispy but the inside is soft and yummy!

We came for the beer but Lord we stayed for the food! We started with the pretzel bites that were salty and soft, dipped in a sweet/tangy Dijon mustard. I got the southwest chicken wrap and the flavors were amazing! The chicken was juicy, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, very pungent red onions, the salsa added so much flavor, and the chipotle ranch was the perfect dipping sauce. Pro tip: upgrade to the garlic Parmesan fries: so crispy and delicious! My husband got the chicken bacon avocado wrap which was also awesome. He said the pork green chili was phenomenal!

High top group seating, bar, and tables. Outdoor seating too!

The BEST onion rings...seriously good. I crave them! These onion rings are freshly cut, tempura battered, and fried everyday. They're not frozen like many onion rings or fries you'll get at other restaurants. Huge difference in taste, for sure! They're the reason I eat at Edgewater. Now that that's out of the way, I'll talk about the rest of my meal. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger, my usual. While the onion rings are always terrific, the burgers are hit or miss. When it's on, the burgers are wonderful. The bun, cheese and ratio of mushroom to burger was good, today. The burger itself though lacked some salt or overall flavor today. Our server, who was really attentive and gave remarkable service offered several different sauces, which made up for the lack of spices on my burger. The onion rings, service, drinks, and burgers (when they're great) will always bring me back for more. I didn't get them today, but the chili cheese fries are really tasty here. Again, I think the difference is the house made chili they top the fries with. They offer a great kids menu! The restaurant is fairly busy all the time, with a variety of diners, from bicyclists, Harley Davidson bikers, business men and women, families, and more. There is live music in warmer months, and corn-hole events, parties, etc. The brewing facility is known for their stellar on-site brewed beer, with eleven beers on tap. Located on the Colorado River, south downtown Grand Junction, it's the only thing in the way of eats out there. However, with the City of Grand Junction building a state of the art amphitheater and park, the landscape and surrounding area will add to the cool vibe Edgewater is known to have. It should only get better and better for Edgewater and it's patrons!

My hotel was a very short walk on Main Street from all of the hubbub of "downtown" GJ. I arrived late on Saturday, so nothing was open except for restaurants and bars. The hotel concierge provided me a with a few recommendations and I walked out the door with no expectations. I was surprised by how walkable the area was ... Colorful lights illuminated the night and art installations lined the sidewalk the entire length of Main Street and there were quite a few people meandering about. I wound up at Rockslide specifically because they had a few more unconventional "lighter" items on their menu. Bar service was welcoming and I had a beer in my hand within thirty seconds of sitting down. For dinner I had a mushroom appetizer and their Ahi Tuna Bowl--Both were excellent. Sidenote: the Ahi was seared to perfection. Great beer too! Surprisingly good and I won't hesitate to return should I find myself in Grand Junction again on another trip.

They took good care of us. Now for the most important part--the food. I genuinely wish I had spent my $60 at McDonald's instead, because this meal was not worth the price. I ordered the fish tacos and was disappointed the second I took a bite. The cod was completely dry, lacked any flavor, and honestly didn't even taste seasoned. The avocado on top added nothing, the cabbage was cold, and the whole dish itself came out cold even though it should've been fresh from the fryer. The chips and queso ended up being the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and he described it as cold, soggy, and way too sweet. He did enjoy his beer, and I liked my drink too, but that alone isn't enough for us to return. I personally won't be coming back, but I still encourage others to try it for themselves--everyone's taste is different.

This is very much an American version of an Irish pub - basically an American bar with all sorts of green everywhere. The hostess was welcoming until she went to seat us at the table right next to the door when there was tons of open seating. So I asked for a different table and she seemed put off by the request. Our server was Brittney and she took our order. I ordered the Highlander Sliders and hubby ordered the Irish Stew and the Malted Vinegar Chips. I checked to be sure the sliders would be well done. When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.
