This pizza place is so cute! Went here over Memorial Day weekend. Service was quick. I loved that they had 3 sizes of salads to order from. I ordered the side Garden salad. It was delicious! Packed with veggies. I highly recommend this salad. Veggies were so fresh too. Mushrooms, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives & mozzarella cheese!! Definitely the best simple salad I've had in a long time. We also ordered a cheese pizza to share. The cheese was a little overdone for my liking but it didn't taste burned. It was decent. Pricing seemed very reasonable too. Everything was really clean & staff was friendly. Would love to go back to try one of their speciality pizzas like the margarita pizza or spinach & artichoke dip pizza. read more

It's very hard to travel when allergic to wheat, soy, tomatoes, and onions. But Canyon Pizza had a good variety of pizzas that didn't have traditional pizza sauce, and they offered a gluten-free crust, so I gave them a try. The spinach artichoke pizza was really good. I asked for it without onions, and they accommodated. The artichokes lacked in seasoning and where in huge chunks - an easy fix with red pepper flakes and small bites though. I have two complaints, which led to the 4 star review. First, I ordered online and never received my email confirmation. The order tracker also never worked. I couldn't tell that my order was received until I got there. Second, they charge an additional $10 for gluten-free crust. I'm used to paying more for gluten-free, but that was a lot. Pretty great experience in all, and I would recommend it to others. read more

We ordered online as we were coming into Moab to grab and head back to our condo to check in. Online ordering we as quick and easy and the food was waiting for us, along with an online order line, when we pulled into the parking lot. The pizza was delicious and decently priced for a local, pizza place. You could tell the inside was a cool hangout spot! read more

I was in Moab as part of a cross country drive moving my dad. We also had a new puppy with us so eating in restaurants was a no go. On this stop Canyon Pizza came up as an option. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and a Mediterranean salad. Each pizza was perfection and the med salad was delish. We took our order from the restaurant back through town to the Hilton property and ate in their lounge. Every bit was devoured and everyone enjoyed their share of the pizzas and salad. I would highly recommend as not only was the food yummy, but the service was patient and helpful as we had no idea what we wanted. Thanks to Canyon we had a home style dinner when a little pup had been forcing us to fast food through 3 states! We adored Moab and I would go back in a heartbeat! read more

Pizza was ok, a bit too cheesy and greasy for our preference. Just a warning: they recycle their pizza boxes. Realized this after we ate. So if you are ok with your pizza being in a box that someone else ate out of...but it totally grossed us out. read more

Clean space right in downtown Moab. The menu has a large selection of pies or you can choose to make your own. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza which was just ok in my opinion, it was mostly cheese with very little BBQ sauce. I've definitely had better but it was decent for $10. The service was prompt and the pizza was brought out to my table for me. read more

Holy smokes! Who would have thought a random small town pizza would be one of the best I've ever had. After ordering a volcano pizza for take out, my wife had 2 slices and had to pull a u-turn and buy her own. She had the jalapeño popper, and our daughter had the garden. All were absolutely amazing. Every one of them had the freshest ingredients, and the crust is the cherry on top. After each of us devouring our own personal size pies, we didn't feel heavy, like most pizzas leave you. A shining star in our cross country road trip. read more

Hot, melty, flavor packed. We ordered three pizzas - Meat, pepperoni and Philly cheese steak. Sauce was perfect and not bitter. Crust was perfectly done. Cheese was melty and perfect. I have it a 4/5 but the family was raving and threatened to delete my Yelp if I didn't give them 5/5. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. read more

My group was a disappointed in this restaurant. After a long day of riding we were craving pizza. This was a new try for our group. We were disappointed to learn they don't serve beer (strike 1). We ordered a standard large pizza and were told they don't have garlic to add to the pizza (?). Hmmm. (Strike 2). They bring the pie to your table. You grab your own cheap plastic ware. (Strike 3). Oh well, at least the pizza was average mushy/gooey crayon the center. Skimpy toppings (strike 4). The only thing above average was the price. read more

Attracted by the cute mural outside I had to pop in! I'm sure glad I did. Staff was professional and efficient. The spot has some cute interior highlights and a chill vibe. My wife and I were staying in Moab at Spanish Trails RV park, we were craving Pizza. Found this place online, internet was spotty so I drove to location. I order a large pepperoni cheese with red onion, mushrooms and olives. The pizza was outstanding. Service was great. Even tasted better the next morning for breakfast. There is nothing special about their pizza. I had a Buffalo Chicken pizza, which ironically had no buffalo sauce on it. I had to ask for a side of sauce and the employee appeared a bit put off by my request. When she only filled the 2oz container half way, I asked that she fill it completely as there was no sauce on my pizza. She did offer an apology or ask any questions, just handed me the sauce without a smile. A smiled and said thank you. A 12" pizza is $18. An 8" personal is $12. Cost to make; maybe a few bucks. And, as previously stated, the pizza was average. On our way out, I looked over at two employees who were talking, and I said, "thank you, have a nice afternoon." Not a response from either, but one looked my way. That right there told me I would never return nor recommend this place. If you can't be kind and appreciative of your paying customers, then you don't deserve their business. I will add we tried to visit this place the day before (Thursday), but the closed an hour early because they were slow. So, not dependable either. read more

Good local pizza spot in Moab right on the main road. Carryout was the offering, but luckily most everything here is close to the hotels, so no big deal. You can also dine in. We ordered online and went and picked it up. It was ready fast on an early Friday evening. We ordered just a plain large cheese pizza, and a large garden salad. They both easily fed us four people. The salad was so green and fresh! Lots of color in the tomatoes and greens and they gave us options to remove things we didn't like (ie: green pepper) Pizza was good, sauce was flavorful. I wish it was cooked a little more on the bottom, as it was ever so slightly underdone. Other than that, good by us! Service was friendly at pick up. Skip the chain places when you want some pizza in Moab. Order your pizza here! read more

This was awesome pizza! We got the Volcano, which the adults loved. The jalapeños actually added a kick! The kiddos pepperoni and sausage was good. Then we got a cheesy bread which was huge and delicious. We got 2 family size + cheesy bread and our family of 5 ate it for 2 entire meals. Thank you! Super easy to order online as well. read more

We're staying right across from this restaurant and was craving pizza. This place did not disappoint. We each ordered a personal pizza, Margherita and supreme. My friend got a salad and I opted for the 5 piece chicken wings buffalo sauce. Everything came out great. Pizza and wings were hot. Nice flavor. One rally would recommend if you're in the mood for pizza and wings. read more

We stopped by this place to pick-up an easy dinner to take to our campsite in Arches National Park. They have an exciting menu with lots of interesting toppings--so much so that we felt compelled to split out pizza in half to try two different options: Nashville Hot Pie and Jalapeño Popper. Both were excellent; high quality & delicious! It was the perfect dinner, along with some garlic twists. Depending when you go, it can get quite busy here, so in retrospect I wish I had phoned in my order ahead of time since their online ordering system was down. read more

If we were in a pinch again and needed a quick meal, we'd probably eat here again however there was nothing really to commend about Big Don's Pizza, except maybe the price is good for what it is. In such a heavy tourist town, they could probably get away with charging $15 per pizza and people would pay.
