*STOP* You've found the BEST restaurant here! OUTSTANDING service and equally outstanding meals. Our first visit here for breakfast this morning. We ordered the Sweetwater skillet and it was delicious! There must be at least 12 folks working here. Everyone is friendly with the best attitudes! All were exceptionally quick to refill coffee and offer up the best in overall customer service experience! This wil definitely become a regular stop when visiting! For Moab locals, Wow, how lucky you are to have this amazing restaurant in the place you call home. read more

We came here for the smothered burrito! These people have a system and it works. Constantly hustling, getting people in and out....I can't imagine pushing that volume of food going out every day. And someone was in the kitchen singing! They are a very well oiled machine. So walking up, we knew there'd be a wait based on people sitting outside. We go up to the counter and they gave us a disc that will let us know when a table would be ready. The service was good. The food was ok. The chorizo was on point. I'd probably go back for ice cream but I just wasn't excited about the flavors of the burrito after experiencing better breakfast burritos in Moab. It is diner food, after all. read more

Moab Diner - Smothered Burrito - Diners Near Me - Moab, Utah

I ordered the Sweetwater potato skillet, and the potatoes were essentially raw and not properly cooked, which was such a shame cos they looked amazing, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I then ordered a plate of fries, thinking fries would be a safe choice, but those were terrible as well, in my humble opinion. After a long day enjoying Arches National Park, we were really looking forward to a good, simple meal, and unfortunately this was a huge disappointment. I don't expect fancy food from a diner, but I do expect potatoes to be cooked properly. Actually I'm saying 2 stars as the Waitress was kind enough not to charge us for the Potatoes or the fries, but the food itself was a huge disappointment. 5 stars for the Server, 1 star for the cook. read more

Moab Diner - Sweetwater Skillet potatoes. Would have been really good if the potatoes hadn't been basically raw. - Diners Near Me - Moab, Utah

First, it is pretty cute inside. A typical diner style setting. Very friendly staff here. My server was friendly and had a big smile on her face. The food was average. You can't expect anything exceptional with eggs and sausage but I also had a biscuit and gravy and the biscuit was incredibly dry. The gravy wasn't enough to balance out how dry the biscuit was. I still enjoyed my time here, but given that the food was very average, I am giving it an average rating to match. read more

Moanb Diner is our favorite place to stop when in town, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just ice cream to beat the heat. We've liked everything we've tried. My favorite is the fall seasonal soup Chicken Almondine, which is creamy, bright with almond and orange notes, and has fresh veggies. I've gone home and replicated it but it just hits different when you've been hiking in the cold all day. The service is always friendly and fairly quick, even when very busy. read more

Seems like a local hotspot with fun menu items like green chili and sweetwater potatoes. It had a fun 50s vibe in the decor. Food was served hot and quick. Service was super friendly and checked in frequently. I got the smothered sweetwaters, which were perfectly tender and seasoned combining two of their best items. Their milkshakes were a good texture and super great late at night. read more

The food was straight up diner old school! Service was great very friendly and if you like 50's-60's feel that's exactly what it is. This is not a health food diner it's diner food like it should be. read more

Ambience was cute and the service was outstanding. Onion rings were fresh and as they should be, really tasty. We ordered a veggie omelet that came with bean sprouts that steamed on top...gross. I got one of the signature items - chicken tenders covered in green chile sauce that had the consistency of snot. It was topped with lettuce that became soggier with every bite. The chicken tender breading was...concerning...and wrecked my stomach after the meal. The Spanish rice had bits of uncooked rice and was underseasoned. I feel like we should've gotten the burger here. Wouldn't recommend any of the signature items on the menu and stay far away with anything advertised as having green chile sauce unless you really enjoy unpleasant textures. Judging by the onion rings, I feel like most of the other standard fare is probably fine. Service though? Knocked it out of the park. read more

Cute decor, like a 50's diner. For the most part, the food is pretty straightforward, but well executed. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a garden salad, very good. My husband had the kokopelli chicken sandwich which is the one unusual item on the menu. He said it was very good. Our server was great. And the bill was very reasonable read more

Your average diner - with above average food. My wife got the "Red Rockers" - Ranch Chicken Sandwich. She loved how everything came together for a flavorful sandwich. I got the Smothered Green Chile Cheeseburger. This was absolutely a knife and fork burger. The Green Chile tasted great. The place was nicely decorated. My only complaint was that you had to go outside to enter the bathroom. read more

Typical diner in the south west. Fish and chips were courteously swapped with fish and salad. Burger was decent. Too full to the malts, shakes! Decent, Nothing extraordinary! read more

Overall good spot for breakfast in Moab. Came here looking for pancakes, and right away we were seated. Ordered their eggs, hash browns and pancakes. The pancake syrup tasted artificial, and not real maple syrup, which made the flavor just okay. Otherwise the food was good and serving was solid. read more

SUCH a good meal! They give you a bunch of food for the all day breakfast which is especially great if you're coming from the nearby hikes! This place is amazing! I'm usually a sucker for an old-skool diner and I happen to find one right behind the hotel I was staying at. I've come here almost every day for the past 3 days for either lunch or dinner. Their prices are really reasonable considering all the other places are more. Service is really good and their food is awesome. Lunch gets a little busy but good for them. I've had their meatloaf, Eggs for breakfast and their smothered burrito with green chilli sauce one night for dinner. It's all been great. read more

We were staying next door and came here at night to grab some ice cream. It can be crazy hectic, as the ice cream counter is up front where folks are waiting for a table and staff are scurrying back and forth. The ice cream was very good, not sure who makes it but smooth and creamy and a nice selection of flavors. Prices were very good and staff was pleasant. read more

I love coming here every visit to Moab. Excellent breakfast, and nice staff. Casual and friendly environment.

delicious breakfast before we started for our hike. Would visit again! the buckwheat pancakes are a must

Preferred the Kokopelli Chicken Sandwich, got a Chicken Breast between two slices of Toast that was just a sloppy mess. Took one bite of a Soggy Sammy! Moved onto the Onion Rings which were drenched in Hot Grease Dripping all over and burning my fingers! Decided that this was not edible and would try something else. While I am looking at the menu, the Owner or Cook walks over with an Attitude and gives me shit about not liking his cooking! Thought I was in Bar Rescue here! What a Douche Bag! Told me that if I didn't order again soon that i should go, because it's busy! Looking around; the place was busy, but isn't anymore. Everyone was leaving! It took me over a week to decide whether to write this or not! But, it has to be known! Let me know if you have had similar experiences. read more

3.5: A typical diner that opens early, offers reasonable prices and quick service. We came here twice for breakfast in a couple days to fuel up before getting the day going. The eggs and potatoes/meat/toast taste are what you would expect at a diner (e.g., eggs aren't fluffy). The server came over right away and the food came out quickly as well. They have a lot of variations in breakfast items in particular. Coffee was not bad too. Across the street is another breakfast place which looks to be higher quality but a little more expensive. read more

The perfect place to grab breakfast before embarking on the day's adventures. It's a small little cafe in the center of the main street that runs through Moab. It provides a very classic diner experience. The coffee and the food are really good. I'd definitely eat here again if I ever find myself back in Moab. It was actually the best meal we had while staying in the area. read more

It's a diner! Food was fast, filling, and good! I had the meatloaf, I mean why not. It was good. My wife had a burger and fries, my daughter chicken tenders. Raul was our server, very friendly. We came here hungry after a big day of hiking and were quickly seated and given waters without asking. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger + fries, a mushroom bacon cheeseburger + tomato bisque soup, and a cookies and cream milkshake to share. The food came out so fast I'm not sure how they cooked the burgers! Everything tasted great, fries could have more seasoning though. As Iowans, we liked that they sell Blue Bunny ice cream. The place filled up quick after 5:30 and everything people ordered looked so good. They have a good amount of booths and tables. The interior looks very much like an old school diner with the colors, decor, and ice cream counter. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend! read more

Classic diner feel, friendly service, quick food prep. The cooking staff even greeted people and made sure they were seated quickly. The menu has some variety. The grilled chicken sandwich was very tasty, with a whole slice of green chili. I loved that side options included chicken soup, which had dumplings in it--it was the perfectly sized lunch! They have parking on each side. The only inconvenience is that there is only one restroom and it's outside. read more

Really cute classic diner in the heart of Moab's downtown neighborhood! The character of this place is very retro and old school, with traditional diner offerings like a full breakfast menu, burgers, shakes and malts. We went in for breakfast and I ordered the chorizo Sweetwater skillet, which was delectably spiced and filling. I also ordered a coffee malt and it HIT THE SPOT. You can order any ice cream flavor as a shake or malt, and it's a wonderful place to bring the whole family as a stop on your trip to beautiful Moab. The only downside was my friend's biscuits and gravy, which came out cold. Our service was prompt and friendly! We were in and out in a timely manner and had a great experience, ending our trip on a high note. read more

The classic diner food at Moab Diner perfectly hits the spot after a long day of hiking in the national parks. It is in the middle of town, where the hotels are, a convenient location. Came here for an early dinner, around 4pm. It wasn't too busy, and we received good service and our food right away. I tried the diner deluxe burger and the french dip sandwich. Both were tasty, with a generous side of fries. The price for the food was mot bad. Would come back! read more
