Really great classic little dinner in downtown Moab. Stopped in here on a road trip. Great ambience classic dinner feel. I only stopped in here for the ice cream which was delicious and totally worth. We had the strawberry malt, huckleberry malt and a chocolate sundae... all them were excellent very well made. The service was really good and the waitress was very respectful and service was fast and quick. Totally worth coming in..

Overall good spot for breakfast in Moab. Came here looking for pancakes, and right away we were seated. Ordered their eggs, hash browns and pancakes. The pancake syrup tasted artificial, and not real maple syrup, which made the flavor just okay. Otherwise the food was good and serving was solid.

SUCH a good meal! They give you a bunch of food for the all day breakfast which is especially great if you're coming from the nearby hikes! The service was super fast even though the diner was packed full for dinner. Our waitress was very attentive and brought our food to us hot and quickly!! Every dish I saw people have looked so delicious, seems like you can't go wrong with what you order here

This place is amazing! I'm usually a sucker for an old-skool diner and I happen to find one right behind the hotel I was staying at. I've come here almost every day for the past 3 days for either lunch or dinner. Their prices are really reasonable considering all the other places are more. Service is really good and their food is awesome. Lunch gets a little busy but good for them. I've had their meatloaf, Eggs for breakfast and their smothered burrito with green chilli sauce one night for dinner. It's all been great.

Such a cute diner!

The perfect place to grab breakfast before embarking on the day's adventures. It's a small little cafe in the center of the main street that runs through Moab. It provides a very classic diner experience. The coffee and the food are really good. I'd definitely eat here again if I ever find myself back in Moab. It was actually the best meal we had while staying in the area.

Mouth watering Hamburger Steak

They play 50's music. Truly looks like an old time diner

Excellent service! Good food and the only place we found open at 6:30 in the morning. Love the atmosphere

We came here hungry after a big day of hiking and were quickly seated and given waters without asking. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger + fries, a mushroom bacon cheeseburger + tomato bisque soup, and a cookies and cream milkshake to share. The food came out so fast I'm not sure how they cooked the burgers! Everything tasted great, fries could have more seasoning though. As Iowans, we liked that they sell Blue Bunny ice cream. The place filled up quick after 5:30 and everything people ordered looked so good. They have a good amount of booths and tables. The interior looks very much like an old school diner with the colors, decor, and ice cream counter. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend!

Santa Fe Platter (Close), Chicken Fried Steak (far)

Had the chicken fried steak and the Santa Fe platter, all items on those orders were like frozen dinner food quality. Strawberry shake was good, ice cream might be good. Service was good, they were quick and helpful and they kept the place clean.

Chicken soup side

Classic diner feel, friendly service, quick food prep. The cooking staff even greeted people and made sure they were seated quickly. The menu has some variety. The grilled chicken sandwich was very tasty, with a whole slice of green chili. I loved that side options included chicken soup, which had dumplings in it--it was the perfectly sized lunch! They have parking on each side. The only inconvenience is that there is only one restroom and it's outside.

Great staff

Great vibe, I love diners. Fast, efficient service. I was in Moab for 3 nights, and ate at the diner twice. Good food, average prices.

Ask the Community - Moab Diner

Are there vegan options?

I had a garden salad that was very fresh. It was honestly probably pretty basic but after a full morning of high altitude hiking the park it tasted like the best salad ever! Haha 😆

Does the country gravy have sausage in it?

Yes

How long is breakfast served?

To the best of my knowledge, they serve breakfast all day.

Do they have a gluten free menu?

No, they do not.

And it's not on the main drag, which is kind of charming-you'll find it a couple blocks away in a more residential area. You'll walk up to the window, place your order and then wait for your number to be called when your food is ready. If you come during peak time, you're going to wait a bit. Grab a free cup and fill it with water at the water station next to the window and hang tight. It's worth the wait. I opted for tots instead of fries and thoroughly loved them. There were more than I could finish (and I can eat a lot!), so perhaps share an order with someone if you're not terribly hungry. The burgers are also fantastic.

Stroke the burger OFF your list & you'd be doing yourself a favor. Sweet pickle instead of dill pickle, half the amount of beef or bison meat, bad bread. No one at our shared table finished their burger. The malt was done fine. Good soap in the bathroom, didn't chince on that yet. The root beer was more than half ice. These new owners are losing return customers left & right & everyone at the table, strangers & friends, agreed this is tragic. The coffee shop across the way is awesome & I hope the degradation at Milts doesn't hurt them, too. Go get an exemplary coffee there if you're jonesing for quality taste.

The Eggs Benedict are really so delicious. They use a non-traditional hollandaise sauce which, amazingly amped up the flavor of the eggs! And the eggs were perfectly made so that the whites were thoroughly cooked and the yolk was runny. Odd, but this is a difficult thing to get in a restaurant. The meal was served with delicious home fries where the potatoes were moist and flavored. We also ordered a side of their thick bacon, which had a bit of a different flavor - very nice. The bacon was perfectly cooked. We took a chance on the egg scramble, which had lots of promise with the many ingredients listed, but the eggs were overcooked and dry, so the other ingredients couldn't compensate. They served the eggs with a very nice bread for their toast. We almost didn't come here as we only saw the side of the building, which was a very small house looking structure. But as you continue down the street, you can see that they have expanded their restaurant to include the dining area: an "inside" area and a patio area. All of this new structure is glass or plastic windows, they have heating and cooling to accommodate for the time of day and they did a great job of making a pleasant eatery. Everyone we met at the restaurant was pleasant and kind. It was such an enjoyable time. We have a few more days in Moab, so we will be back.

Fairly pricey, but comparable to other spots in town. If you like this kind of food, it's worth stopping in. Our service was friendly. And the restaurant itself was cute.
