Ambience was cute and the service was outstanding. Onion rings were fresh and as they should be, really tasty. We ordered a veggie omelet that came with bean sprouts that steamed on top...gross. I got one of the signature items - chicken tenders covered in green chile sauce that had the consistency of snot. It was topped with lettuce that became soggier with every bite. The chicken tender breading was...concerning...and wrecked my stomach after the meal. The Spanish rice had bits of uncooked rice and was underseasoned. I feel like we should've gotten the burger here. Wouldn't recommend any of the signature items on the menu and stay far away with anything advertised as having green chile sauce unless you really enjoy unpleasant textures. First, it is pretty cute inside. A typical diner style setting. Very friendly staff here. My server was friendly and had a big smile on her face. The food was average. You can't expect anything exceptional with eggs and sausage but I also had a biscuit and gravy and the biscuit was incredibly dry. The gravy wasn't enough to balance out how dry the biscuit was. Moanb Diner is our favorite place to stop when in town, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just ice cream to beat the heat. We've liked everything we've tried. My favorite is the fall seasonal soup Chicken Almondine, which is creamy, bright with almond and orange notes, and has fresh veggies. I've gone home and replicated it but it just hits different when you've been hiking in the cold all day. The service is always friendly and fairly quick, even when very busy. read more

This place is amazing! I'm usually a sucker for an old-skool diner and I happen to find one right behind the hotel I was staying at. I've come here almost every day for the past 3 days for either lunch or dinner. Their prices are really reasonable considering all the other places are more. Service is really good and their food is awesome. Lunch gets a little busy but good for them. The eggs and potatoes/meat/toast taste are what you would expect at a diner (e.g., eggs aren't fluffy). The server came over right away and the food came out quickly as well. When we go back to hotel, we had missing items. Ketchup for fries, I asked twice for ketchup when ordering; also missing ranch dressing. We ordered Chicken Fried Chicken and Chicken Fried Steak, it was the most bazaar breading I've ever seen, very thin and hardly coated the meat on both, just weird. Mashed potatoes were not creamy, just bland. Gravy was thin as well. The chicken strips & fries were good. Overall, quality fell short for us. The perfect place to grab breakfast before embarking on the day's adventures. It's a small little cafe in the center of the main street that runs through Moab. It provides a very classic diner experience. The coffee and the food are really good. I'd definitely eat here again if I ever find myself back in Moab. The character of this place is very retro and old school, with traditional diner offerings like a full breakfast menu, burgers, shakes and malts. We went in for breakfast and I ordered the chorizo Sweetwater skillet, which was delectably spiced and filling. I also ordered a coffee malt and it HIT THE SPOT. You can order any ice cream flavor as a shake or malt, and it's a wonderful place to bring the whole family as a stop on your trip to beautiful Moab. The only downside was my friend's biscuits and gravy, which came out cold. Our service was prompt and friendly!
