When you're here for dinner or last night. Place was busy early. It was chilly downstairs under the fans and cold upstairs under the air conditioning so we chose to get a table outside. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was both a tasty and hefty sandwich. Their hand cut fries were also great. We got a dessert to go, the Candy Bar Brownie Sundae, and it was marginal. Overall, we enjoyed the visit and the food.

Amazing food with lots of options. Friendly attentive service. A great location! All three things made this a great visit. We got their two best known dishes: fish and chips and the reuben. Both were really good. The fish was cooked perfectly. We finished with their bread pudding which was outstanding.

Seated promptly for a table of two on a Friday eve. Had the Moab red wine- super good- dry without being too dry. Split the special salad with Lemon chicken and veggies, sub warm chicken. Also split the wings (8), sauces on side- Buffalo (more zesty, super good with a kick) and parm garlic. Crispy- liked, friend loved. Service was great, food was solid and quick.

Totally forgot to take pics of the food. But here's the review. I'd say it's pretty good "bar" food. But pricey which is often the case in a vacation town. I had a burger melted with onions and mushrooms. And got a side salad to go with it. Others I was with enjoyed their food as well. The service was very good and the ambiance was more than adequate but not super special.

After several days in Utah and being extremely disappointed by literally everywhere we went out to eat, we figured we would give this place a try on our last day. We definitely saved the best for last! We were cold and tired from hiking and just wanted a nice comforting meal. We started with the breaded cheese curds. We are suckers for fried cheese and we thought these were pretty solid. My husband got the tapenade and salami sandwich, which he rudely didn't share, meaning it was good. I got the Reuben that I also didn't share, meaning it was good. We were each happy with our meals and portions. The ambiance was lively and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Shoutout to the hostess that let me take multiple pieces of candy from the bowl. Overall we had a great experience. Not the best restaurant in the world, but by leaps and bounds the best restaurant we found in the area!

Discovered this place through Yelp. Sat in the cute bar area. Service was attentive and friendly. Our server answered all of our questions and was great at suggestions and following up. Ordered the poutine and Hot Trails burger. The burger was definitely the winner in taste and spice. We ordered it with sweet potatoes waffle fries, which were hot and crispy. Don't forget the arches sauce (think thousand island dressing) to help with the heat.

4.5 stars definitely loved this place! Keep in mind it's usually very busy so plan to get there at least 20 ish minutes before you want to actually eat so you can get on the waitlist! The hours were very confusing because the posted hours online and the posted in the window don match. We thought they would be closed and were so sad but then they were actually open so just keep that in mind also! We each got a bison burger and sweet potato fries they were so insanely good! Highly recommend this place. They are incredibly fast at getting the food out to you as well. Honestly only knocking it down from 5 stars because it's pretty pricey, we paid $70 after tip for 2 burgers with only water to drink.

Very cool old building with some upstairs seating that overlooks the bar. The bartender was great and the food came out fairly quick. The Ruben and sweet potato fries were delicious; highly recommend. The fish fry had a good review, but not enough fish (2 pieces, maybe order an extra piece if you're a big eater).

The food is absolutely amazing. So much so, we had to visit twice during our Moab stay. Shannon was our first server. My daughter said "I think I just made a new friend" because Shannon made us feel like family. We both had fish and chips. Wowzer on those mushy peas! Vanessa was our second Trailhead server. She also made us feel like locals. She made sure I got the apple pie bread pudding. Oh. My. Gosh. It was beyond fabulous. When in Moab-Trailhead has got to be your first meal-and maybe a few more!

WE DID NOT EAT HERE .. Super disappointed to be turned away from Trailhead after hearing that it has the best burger in Moab. The restaurant was closing the next day for the Christmas week holiday and had sold out of food, so it was no longer seating in the restaurant. Not sure we'll be back to Moab or to Trailhead :-(

Traveling thru Moab and needed to stop for dinner, saw online they have Guinness on tap and some delicious comfort plates, no brainer. Monday night, a bit more busy than I expected; 20 min wait for a table. Ordered Guinness pints at the bar and quickly scored 2 bar stools, cancelled the table. I ordered the Green Chili Poutine and hubby ordered the Ruben Sandwich & Waffle Fries; good solid comfort food choices. Bartender service was excellent, friendly!

We got here after a long day of hiking and it was perfect. We got fish and chips, which was excellent and the antipasti salad, which was so great. The staff was friendly and prices were fair. I really enjoyed our experience here.

This place is right on main street so easy to find. There was not much parking around it but it is a small town so park anywhere and walk. They have seating upstairs but not much downstairs so if you can't climb you might have to wait. The staff was friendly but didn't check on us till we were finished. It is nice inside with a rustic feel. I ordered a special with pulled pork and pineapple which I liked but it was a bit dry. The wife had the club which she enjoyed but thought they could have toasted the bread more. The tots were not as crispy as we like either. All in all it is a nice easy to get to place that is close to downtown Moab

Ask the Community - Trailhead Public House & Eatery

    Are there any vegan Desserts?

They offer popsicles which are likely vegan and they had a 'No Moo Vanilla' ice cream as well. They did have several dessert options when we visited and I'm guessing there were at least a couple of vegan sweet treats.

    Do they take reservations?

    Is this place dog friendly?

Absolutely! Pups are welcomed on the patio!

For dinner we had the angel hair Bolognese, the sopressata pizza with that great Italian ham, and I had the polpette with meatballs. Everything tasted fantastic. The flavors were rich, fresh, and exactly what we were hoping for after a long day on the trail. Service was quick, efficient, and everyone inside was genuinely friendly. My cup was never empty and the staff stayed on top of everything without hovering. The space is more open and cavernous than intimate, so if you're looking for a cozy Italian date spot this isn't that. But if you want great food in a relaxed place, it hits the mark. We took some pizza home and ate it the next day and it was still amazing. We enjoyed the whole experience and would absolutely come back.

We were pretty excited to see a Neapolitan pizza and pasta restaurant in Moab. The reviews looked…read moresolid, and from what I remembered from our last visit many years ago, there were not many pizza options in town. We ordered the Salsiccia e Funghi, a sausage and mushroom pizza, along with the mussels in white wine sauce appetizer, homemade Italian cream sodas, and one additional limonata soda. The pizza was okay, but not the quality I would expect from a polished Neapolitan-style pizza place, especially at this price point. The mussels appetizer had potential because white wine sauce is exactly the kind of dish we usually enjoy with bread. Before ordering, I specifically asked about the bread because we like having enough to sop up the broth, the way you would expect at a good Italian restaurant. Our waitress said she would bring as much bread as we wanted. There were three of us, and the appetizer came with three pieces of bread. Given the earlier conversation, we later asked for three more pieces. The request seemed to bother her. When she delivered the extra bread, sensing her frustration, we said she could add it to the bill, and she told us she already had. That was frustrating because we had just discussed it before ordering. We were attempting to be more gracious, and she missed the mark with her response. She could have said ok, or thank you, or "no it's ok I told you could have as much bread as you wanted for the mussels" The mussels themselves were also uneven. Several had not opened during cooking, which is generally a sign that they should not be served or eaten. With mussels, the usual food-safety rule is: if they do not open during cooking, do not eat them. The FDA's consumer seafood guidance says clams, mussels, and oysters should open during cooking, and the ones that do not open should be thrown out. That made us question the quality control and preparation of the dish. The cream sodas were mixed. The berry version was delicious, but the mango version missed the mark. It was not sweet at all and tasted like the mango may not have been ripe. A little simple syrup, or ripe mango, would have helped a lot. The unripe mango soda ends up tasting a little like pine sol smells. We were also disappointed because the prices were more in line with what we would expect from a higher-quality meal. For the items noted above, plus one additional limonata soda, the meal came to over $60. I typically tip over 20%, but I took the extra bread charge off the tip, and the tip was still over 17%. Overall, this was not a terrible experience, but it was disappointing compared with what we were hoping for. The food had some good ideas, but several details felt off, and the service created a communication gap that left a bad impression.
