Beware Huge cinnamon roll that can feed 6 people. Standard bkfast fare. No complaints. A bit expensive for 3 tiny avocado slices

Biscuits and gravy - very good

This place is popular and busy, and there's a reason why, it's delicious!! There's not many breakfast places in Moab, and I'm so happy we stopped by! Everyone loved what they ordered! Huevos rancheros with chicken fried steak, it's a crazy combo, but my son loved it! The southwest bowl add chorizo, so much flavor, and the perfect portion size! So good! Biscuits and gravy - flaky biscuit, yummy gravy, very well done. Flapjack breakfast was perfection, fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked bacon, the only complaint was the scrambled eggs, they were slightly rubbery, like they came out of a carton. Overall, we will eat here whenever we're in Moab!

This place was recommended to us by our BASE jumping guide (shoutout to Matt with Tandem BASE Moab) and it did not disappoint. The portions are so generous and everything was reasonably priced -- not to mention, everything was delicious. Earl is right. The parking situation is quite crowded, and we parked on a side street nearby. Our server was great, and the restaurant wasn't too noisy!

We've been in Moab for a week and this is hand down our favorite place! Great pricing, didn't take long to get sat or get our food, and our server Juniper was amazing. We felt welcome and invited, and the local diner vibe was great. We happened to visit during Jeep Week and most of the business were flustered, but Cactus Jack's had it down!

A friend and I stopped here for breakfast/brunch on our return from watching the sunrise at Arches. It was only 10:30 but we'd been awake since 4'ish and I was in need of food and caffeine. We were seated right away and our server was wonderful. I opted for B&G's while my friend ordered tacos. Both huge portions and delicious. I ordered fresh jalapeños and was given a grilled or fried one too (surprisingly not spicy - almost sweet and so good). The coffee was so good. Sofa king good. Perfect experience. OH, and we split a cinnamon roll that was the size of our heads. They're open every dang day according to the sign and if I was local, this would be a go-to for me!

You know when you crave brunch, this is what you want and need. Sounds like locals prefer this spot over other locations closer to the center of Main St. I started my meal here solo but was later joined by a friend. Everything I ordered was great and not greasy. I took the ravioli to-go since I was so full. Wish I could've had a second meal here.

Came here for breakfast and got the chicken and waffles and veggie omelet with hash browns and toast. I asked for the hash browns to be a little crispy and they came out perfect. The omelette portion size was pretty small and to be honest, it was also bland. They forgot my toast and the waitress didn't check in much so I had to wait a while to get my toast. When I did get it, it came pre-buttered which I wish it didn't. The chicken and waffles were overall pretty tasty and a good portion size. Not sure if I'll be back here.

Green chili quiles

We wanted a substantial breakfast before visiting the Arches national Park. We had Huevos Rancheros and green chili Quiles. Both were delicious and service was amazing.

Came here for a quick and savory breakfast. The waffles were nice and fluffy and the chicken was good. A pretty simple and go to breakfast.

Philly Cheese Steak (picture doesn't give it justice, it was delicious packed with flavor and the fries were so good)

We loved this place! We were seated right away and our food came out quicker than expected being it was pretty packed in there with groups that day. Our server Evelyn was exceptional with not only us, but everyone I saw her help. The food was amazing, we kept talking about it afterward. It's a brunch spot and they close at 2pm so glad we stopped there for some great food before we left town. I'll tell you that after a good hike, this hit the spot. We had the Big Biscuit Plate and The Philly Cheese Steak, we decided to get one breakfast meal and one lunch and it sure didn't disappoint! Everything was so delicious, we cleaned our plates and hope we will get to visit again when we visit Moab again. The food was so good!

French Toast Breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage links.
Fat Man Reviews K.

Before leaving Moab for more adventures across Utah, the Fat Man and his wife stopped for breakfast at Cactus Jacks Moab. Cactus Jacks is an easygoing all-day operation spotlighting traditional comfort food, from pancakes to steaks. I wanted to try Fry Bread, a native American dish. The bread was a little dense, with some sweetness from the bread and the powdered sugar, while being airy and having a good chew. I could taste the oil, but it was not overwhelming. The texture was unique, like a combined funnel cake and pita bread. My wife tried the French Toast Breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage links. The eggs were fluffy and cooked well. The sausage had an excellent salt level and a great snap in the casing. The Texas toast was coated in crushed Frosted Flakes and fried to a great golden brown with a good sweetness and texture. It offered a good chew and flavor. The syrup was out of a bottle. I had the Green-Chili-Quiles made with tortilla chips, green chili, two over-easy eggs, lime crema, pico, queso fresco, and chorizo. The tortilla chips tasted like they were made in-house, with good crunch, texture, and puffiness. The egg is perfect over easy, with great yolk for creaminess and texture. The chorizo had a good flavor with subtle heat. The pico added some freshness to the dish, while the crema had a cooling effect. The queso adds some salty flavor to the dish. The green chili is coated well on the chips, with good flavor and minimal heat. The problem that I had with the dish was that it was cold. The eggs give it some warmth, but overall, the entire dish was cold, as if it had sat waiting for the other items of the order. This made it very hard for me to eat and enjoy what could have been a great dish. Cactus Jacks offers several options with breakfast plates, omelets, griddle options, salads, and a full lunch menu. They have a full bar, draft and canned beer, and soda and coffee options. The wait staff was excellent and helpful. The Fat Man says Cactus Jacks Moab is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.

Our visit with the family at Cactus jacks: - friendly service, very children friendly (drawing material, fast service) - food was delicious: huevos rancheros are great (recommend w chorizo!) - very spacious, clean and nicely decorated The kids menu: half a waffle, scrambled egg, plus a sausage link or piece of bacon... our three girls loved it!!

A whole lot of meh for this place. Flavors were a bit off. Execution was a bit off. Service was slow. Don't need to go again.

Good food! They were easygoing about our food needs - served my food without cheese and offered an alternative to bread for my husband.

This restaurant is known for their Eggs Benedict, Swedish Pancakes and their thick bacon. We…read moreordered 2 of these items and agreed with the recommendations. The Eggs Benedict are really so delicious. They use a non-traditional hollandaise sauce which, amazingly amped up the flavor of the eggs! And the eggs were perfectly made so that the whites were thoroughly cooked and the yolk was runny. Odd, but this is a difficult thing to get in a restaurant. The meal was served with delicious home fries where the potatoes were moist and flavored. We also ordered a side of their thick bacon, which had a bit of a different flavor - very nice. The bacon was perfectly cooked. We took a chance on the egg scramble, which had lots of promise with the many ingredients listed, but the eggs were overcooked and dry, so the other ingredients couldn't compensate. They served the eggs with a very nice bread for their toast. We almost didn't come here as we only saw the side of the building, which was a very small house looking structure. But as you continue down the street, you can see that they have expanded their restaurant to include the dining area: an "inside" area and a patio area. All of this new structure is glass or plastic windows, they have heating and cooling to accommodate for the time of day and they did a great job of making a pleasant eatery. Everyone we met at the restaurant was pleasant and kind. It was such an enjoyable time. We have a few more days in Moab, so we will be back.

Jailhouse is apparently an institution of Moab. It was a good breakfast/brunch place for what we…read morewanted. It was good but not super special. Mostly typical eggs, omelets, pancakes and waffle. Fairly pricey, but comparable to other spots in town. If you like this kind of food, it's worth stopping in. Our service was friendly. And the restaurant itself was cute.
