Picked up a muffin here to go at 6:30am right when they opened before heading out to the Needles District of Canyonlands NP. There was already a tad of a line right at opening time. My husband and I sat and enjoyed it by a lovely yellow willow tree down in the canyon at Big Spring Trail toward the Confluence Overlook. It was a vegan chocolate chip muffin. It was yummy and I was happy I grabbed it. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! Visited Love Muffin Cafe three days in a row during our visit in Moab. Really like the laid back vibes this place has. Their coffee and food are excellent! I had their bacon breakfast sandwich and it was really good. The bacon was thick, yet crunchy. I also tried their burrito that didn't have any protein in it. I really enjoyed that one for a lighter option. I'd say the star of the show were their lunch sandwiches. We took some to go, and they held up quite nicely. We ate them in canyonlands and they really hit the spot. I'd definitely recommend taking some on your hikes. I tried two of their coffees. I had an iced carrot cake latte, half sweet, and it was perfection. It really put me in a fall mood. I also had their black and white iced latte that was so good, I had it twice! read more

Pre hike coffee and muffin were a 50% let down. The coffee was perfect- a nice dark blend to go and a bag for home. But the muffin...it's in the name. With 8 different ones to choose from, maybe I chose wrong. The hummingbird muffin had all the makings of breakfast on the way to ANP. It was dry, crumbly, and lacked flavor. Despite being busy on a Saturday morning, the wait for both drinks and food wasn't long at all. I don't think it's *just* the fact that I was hungry and also in the middle of God's country -- i.e., Arches National Park -- that makes me say this, but the Cuban sandwich I ate out of my backpack was one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have ever had. It had the abundance of mustard and sliced pickles that every Cuban sandwich needs and almost no Cuban sandwich has, providing just the right savory/sour/salty counterpunch to the different porks. Love me some Love Muffin Cafe! The bombero burrito with house made brisket is the bomb! The coffe is good and the blueberry muffins are moist and delicious without being overly sweet. Counter service is great. You can also get ahead of the crowd by ordering online. We also had the banh mi and Cuban sandwiches. We'll take a pass on those next time as they were quite dry and had way to much bread for the amount of toppings inside. We definitely found better in town. I ordered the house roasted turkey sandwich with monterey jack, tomato, lettuce and mayo. I chose the bag of kettle chips to go with my sandwich. First of all, the turkey was not turkey loaf. It was actual slices of turkey. Everything about the sandwich was good and fresh except for the focaccia. It was cold and hard. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff members were friendly and the food was delish! I had the Rooster burrito and a tiramisu latte, and nabbed a Banana Creme muffin for the road. The kimchi in the breakfast burrito was delish, it was perfectly spicy. Their muffins are so unlike other muffins I've had! I went two days in a row, and would have went four but they're closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. a place with house made syrup is always a good sign and I couldn't find this at any other shops in the area.
