This might be a hot take but I like the chicken here more than the donuts! Don't get me wrong, I like the donuts too, but I didn't think they were that special. They come in lots of fun flavor. The crumb in the cake donut needs a little moisture, though the yeast donut texture is nice and sponge-y. The chicken on the other hand is hella good. I think they fry to order so it was piping hot when it came out. It's got lots of crispy, craggley bits. It's been seasoned on the inside (chicken) and the outside (batter) so there's tons of flavor. We got the plate which comes with either waffle fries or coleslaw. If you're sharing get one of each for some variety, but if you have to choose, definitely the waffle fries. As a bonus, they also have cute merch and earrings to browse while you wait.
I saw this storefront one of my first weekends in Moab and knew I had to come back. It didn't happen until a month later, right when we were about to leave back to California. I saw on Instagram that they were closing for the winter season on the day I visited. The business owner herself was there. I think it's awesome they combined two of the best food items into one business. I bought 2 donuts but wish I could have afforded more. The fruity pebbles one was my #1, followed by #2 the glazed one, and the third one I think was a pumpkin caramel one my friend got. Later on, one of my teammates followed my recommendation and went there as well & she sent him home with a dozen free donuts to save them from the trash!
An adorable doughnut shop that also sells chicken sandwiches and coffee. Service was great, quick and friendly. Food was just ok. I think it's pretty overhyped. We got the medium Nashville fried chicken sandwich but it wasn't spicy at all. I recommend getting it hot if you like it spicy since the medium was not spicy at all. I got extra hot sauce on the side which was just a lot of oil and not a lot of sauce. The waffle fries that came with the sandwich were tasty but nothing out of the normal range of waffle fries. We also got 2 doughnuts - the churro one and Reese's. Both looked better than they tasted. They don't even taste that good and are just below average tasting doughnuts but the presentation makes it look like really good doughnuts. Vibes were chill but nothing place to sit so take your food elsewhere.
This is a must visit when coming to Moab. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We love coming and grabbing donuts or swinging by for their signature chicken and donut sandwich. There is nowhere to eat inside but there are some picnic tables set up next to the building.
Service is SO nice and helpful! Such a positive and cute environment. We tried the classic maple, Boston cream, chocolate churro crodough, and salted caramel crodough. Everyone loved all the doughnuts, very very tasty
Absolutely delicious, decadent, rich, sweet, beautiful donuts! It's off main street moreso than buildings around it so don't miss it. Nice little shops with everything laid out nicely. Service was just ok. First Lady couldn't be bothered to answer my wife's questions and seemed annoyed that we didn't know everything about their donuts it being the first time we were there. The guy that finally checked us out was awesome and a completely different personality than our first "helper".
I am usually not a big donut person but really liked the donuts here! Tried 3 vegan flavors-- all delicious.
I hate to rate this place poorly but the donut I got was so oily I couldn't finish it. I wanted to like it so bad! If you encase 95% of a donut in rainbow sprinkles, you will immediately get from me. The vanilla cake donut base is delicious and dense and the sprinkles are fabulous!!!!! Their Cuban coffee was strong and delicious. I'm sorry I didn't get to try their chicken! This was a good find while we were in Moab!
Donuts were delicious! Workers were kind and greeted us upon walking in. We would've gotten the chicken sandwich but we got there too early. The store itself was adorable, bright and welcoming. My only suggestion for improvement is to make the matcha the correct way. Unfortunately instead of making matcha how it should be made, they mixed the matcha powder with milk and mixed it with a milk frother.

Wow... This spot is great! I got a churro donut and a salted carnal donut. Both were so fresh and tasty. We had to go back and get some more for the road trip back to Vegas. Daaaaaamn read more

Not a fan! I travel all over the USA and was not impressed with their donuts. I purchased the pumpkin donut. It was dry and had a very small dollup of cream cheese (or the like) on top. It was such a small amount I could not identify the flavor. It was white..... The service was subpar. Employees arrived a few minutes before opening and I think the two guys were half awake. No personality. All business. Seemed annoyed with my hesitation of what I wanted. Also, no hot food, no burritos and definitely no chicken like it says on the outside of the building. Not wanting to kick a dead horse but I put my donut in the freezer thinking it might be better cold- nope! Tasted like old oil. We ended up throwing away all 3 donuts. Price: $4 a donut Worst $12 spent! Anyway, this is my perspective and opinion. read more

Did someone say luxury doughnuts!? These doughnuts are clearly crafted with intention. The flavors were really creative! The Boston cream (my favorite) was massive!! And so tasty! Not too sweet, perfectly balanced! My husband enjoyed the maple and the sprinkle. I also really liked the small bite of the raspberry cheesecake doughnut - unfortunately our dog ate the rest of it while we weren't paying attention. Stopped by here for breakfast about a month ago while visiting Moab. We had heard wonderful things about their donuts, and Doughbird definitely lived up to the hype! Their donuts are incredible - so many different creative donuts combinations to choose from. Their Oreo Cheesecake was our big favorite, but of our dozen, not a single one was bad (which is pretty impressive). They are definitely on the sweeter, richer side - so we had a lot of donuts to save for later. We really wanted to try their chicken sandwich, but we unfortunately arrived too early as they only start serving them at 11am. So if you want one, make sure to plan your visit accordingly! Definitely stop by for a memorable donut experience! read more

We brought cronut, blueberry scone, and fruity peebles donut for our afternoon tea and coffee break. The cronut and scone were absolutely delicious. The donut was just ok. The dough of the donut was too dense. Employees were nice and efficient. Prices were acceptable with the exception of the donut. read more

Solid donuts, especially for the area! We didn't try any chicken but enjoyed our quick breakfast stop. I'm also a big Halloween fan so it was cool to see they had decorated donuts close to the holiday. We showed up right when they opened at 7am on a Sunday but they were still friendly. I enjoyed the chocolate iced, although it was pretty rich. Very good but I definitely couldn't eat more than one. The cinnamon sugar raised donut was also a good choice. I'm less of a cake donut fan but my partner tried one that was decent too. Worth a stop if you're craving a donut in Moab! read more
This spot is the best in Moab - So much character and remarkable service! I loved my pumpkin streusel coffee cake donut so much that I returned the next day for lunch, and the chicken was really great too!! Will highly recommend to anyone visiting Moab! The interior is set up well so that you can see all the different donuts on display. There are vegan options available. There is no seating indoors. I ordered the salted caramel crodough as others raved about it, but for my taste buds, it was overly sweet and oily to the point where I couldn't finish it. I'll stick with a classic donut next time! read more
What do you do before heading to Arches National Park all day? You get doughnuts, of course! We saw DoughBird the previous night, so we knew where we were heading in the morning before our timed entry was over. When you walk in, seeing a full display case is heaven. I look for anything chocolate, and they gave us some ideas of other popular items. The pleasant person behind the counter asked us the hardest question of the day...how many doughnuts did we want? The answer would result in a box vs. paper bag, so of course, we asked how many were needed for a box (6, BTW). We ordered 7. We had to be quick to make wait in the queue for Arches, so we paid, got our stuff, and headed back to the vehicle. The box didn't last more than a few seconds before it was opened and the doughnuts sampled. Yum! For those long hikes in the park, you need energy. DoughBird provided that energy. read more

We arrived at the doughnut shop when it opened and the counters were filled with delicious looking doughnuts! The friendly counter servers were eager to take our doughnut order and were helpful describing them. There were so many creative flavors and they all looked beautiful! We went in for just a couple but ended up leaving with a box of seven. The blueberry filled powdered doughnut was my favorite. It was loaded with a delicious blueberry compote filling. My husband got his usual chocolate old fashioned and he loved it! If you go later in the day Doughbird serves chicken sandwiches. I guess we will have to go back one day to try them! read more
Disappointed. I saw the reviews of Doughbird and had to try.. I arrived at 11:30 for a doughnut & coffee. I had to ask for cream as it was behind the counter. Ate outside with the birds. Churro crounut with chocolate drizzle. Good crunch and well sugared although the reviews and signage promised butter all I tasted was oil and probably seed oil. The coffee was rich/fine. It's 2 hours later and I still have a waxy fry oil taste lingering.. yuk read more
This place is really cute! This is just a place to grab and go; there is no seating inside, but around the building they have some tables. I did like their donuts; they're good, but their customer service is horrible. The staff looked annoyed, so I ordered my donuts quick. read more
