The location is really nice because it's off of Main Street so it is quiet and both the patio and cafe have a great ambiance. The friendliest siblings served us fantastic coffee - drip, cappuccino, americano as well as a breakfast sandwich to go. We left with great coffee and in a very nice state of mind after chatting for a bit with the sister and brother, who kicked our day off on a wonderful note. We just took ours to go, but the ambiance was classic small coffee shop with about half of the tables occupied. Will definitely go back the next time we visit Moab. read more

There are several coffee places in Moab and I have tried most of them, but Cafe & Lounge Italiano knocks it out of the park. It was the only coffee shop that really made a 5-star expresso, with a proper espresso ceramic cup, beautiful thick crema, and wonderful taste. I really liked my coffee and my boyfriend liked his latte. I do not recommend this place for food. The cafe is packed with Gonzo guests waiting for their free breakfasts. My first day there, I didn't bother ordering breakfast because they were very slow to serve it and customers were complaining and sending back orders as being cooked wrong and I saw them using a microwave to prepare oatmeal. That's not my type of food. One cook was wearing one glove but using her bare hand to touch food. It was weird. My boyfriend tried to get us breakfast yesterday so I didn't have to endure the wait, and he said he gave up after watching one of the ladies in the kitchen literally spin in a circle and announce that she couldn't find any spoons. He said the ladies were opening and closing refrigerators and cabinets in a frenzy, but nothing was being placed in or removed. He couldn't believe his eyes, same as me the day before. Unfortunately, my prepaid breakfasts through Gonzo were a waste of my money. We went to 7 Eleven for breakfast sandwiches with no wait. The man who runs the place is great and he works hard, but he needs a better staff who move with some urgency. My coffee really was good. I highly recommend the coffee if you can sneak in with no line. read more

The best environment and service I could have asked for in my visit to Moab. I came here to do remote work three days in a row, in between my adventuring. The service was honestly top notch and so were the espresso drinks! Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Moab. I hear they have a food truck location too and I'm excited to check that out too! read more

Spent the morning working and this place was perfect. Music was not too loud and the vibe was just what a Friday morning called for.

The breakfast here at the Cafe Italiano is delicious. I had the American breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. I also ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice. The eggs were amazing. They make them with cream and it was very tasty. The orange juice was excellent. The restaurant also fits perfectly with the vibe of the attached hotel, Gonzo. read more

What a wonderful place to eat breakfast, lunch, or grab some coffee in Moab! The staff is super friendly and kind. If you have celiac disease or other dietary restrictions, this is the place to go. They were VERY careful to listen to my requests and made adjustments so my food was safe for me. Everything was fresh and delicious. They will even make you a great sack lunch to take into the parks. We visited Moab for a couple of days and had to work (unfortunately). This place is amazing. The service is incredible, the food is top notch, and the staff is just the best. The wifi is great. One day I ordered the Breakfast Panini, it was absolutely delicious. Hard to say enough good things about this place. Even if you don't have to work during your trip, stop here. Don't know what's up with these low star reviews. The service was outstanding. My husband and I could tell they were a little busy, quickly they informed they'd be a second and thanked us for our patience.
