Heard a server say it wasn't that busy and we were seated right away. Juniper was our server and she was polite and professional. We both had The Standard breakfast - 2 eggs, choice of meat, hash browns and toast or pancakes. It was a solid choice as the preparation of the meals were good. The bacon not overcooked and my eggs done just right. The toast also had butter on it and I liked how it was nicely melted on the bread. Well lit restaurant and clean. Good breakfast stop. And it was nice to walk to the restaurant and back to our hotel.
There was a line when we got here at 9:30 on a Sunday morning, but it went fast. Clearly, a popular spot for breakfast. The menu is fantastic-so many options. We got the AM Tacos (with bacon) and the Southwest Bowl (with fried chicken) and an order of Mini-Jacks. The tacos were so good! I asked for a side of green chile sauce and that made them next level. We don't recommend getting fried chicken on the SW Bowl. The bowl was great, but the chicken was only okay. A little tough and chewy and probably not the best choice for that meal. The mini jacks were the star of the show! Fluffy, light, with a hint of sweetness and served with a huge dollop of soft butter. The restaurant was busy, but our service was great and it was a relaxed vibe. Lots of folks looked like they were heading out or getting back from outdoor activities.
This is one of the breakfast locations in Moab that is rated highly so we came here around 8:30am on a Wednesday. There are 2 dining areas inside - head over to the hostess stand and get your name added to the list on their automated system. You will be texted when your seat is ready and you can watch your status as you wait thru the url texted to you when you first check in. I loved knowing where we were in line at any time - very efficient. We were seated in 6 minutes and our server greeted us shortly after. We ordered regular coffee, the Cinnamon Roll (it's huge) and the Waffle meal which included eggs and bacon and we added fruit. The coffees came right away followed by the cinnamon roll. We had a few minutes to enjoy that when our breakfast arrived. Everything tasted great! The cinnamon roll did not have frosting on it but that was okay because there was a lot of cinnamon sugar in its layers. The waffles are not real Belgian but they were fresh, light, and fluffy. The bacon is super thick - very tasty. The restaurant decor looks fairly recent and the vibe is casual and laid back. Come as you are and enjoy a great breakfast!
The best breakfast we had over our whole trip. Fresh and tasty! We had amazing service and enjoyed our visit. Loved my breakfast bowl. It was perfection.
This was recommended to us by a local & it lived up to the hype. The southwest bowl was delicious, & big enough for two to share. And the cinnamon roll was spectacular! Also big enough to share...maybe 4 ways! Definitely recommend & would come back!
The beef chimichuri on greens with balsamic dressing really hit the spot. Our server, Sean was super friendly and took great care of us and all his tables. It's a cute place and a great way to start the day in Arches
It seems the businesses in Moab Utah do just fine based on just how delicious everything was- very impressed from decor and atmosphere to the food and the staff. Food was exactly as advertised and yummy too but the graphic and the atmosphere was awesome and chill -definitely recommend!
The line is long but it moves quickly. Lunch is served all day, I ordered a Cobb salad however their veggies aren't that fresh. A few slices of their cucumbers look spoiled and there was a wrinkly tomato. Must try their bacon . My waitress said they are sourced from a local market at Salt Lake City. It's thick and has good fat to meat ratio. Service is great, their parking lot is small but plenty of street parking.
Beware Huge cinnamon roll that can feed 6 people. Standard bkfast fare. No complaints. A bit expensive for 3 tiny avocado slices
This place is popular and busy, and there's a reason why, it's delicious!! There's not many breakfast places in Moab, and I'm so happy we stopped by! Everyone loved what they ordered! Huevos rancheros with chicken fried steak, it's a crazy combo, but my son loved it! The southwest bowl add chorizo, so much flavor, and the perfect portion size! So good! Biscuits and gravy - flaky biscuit, yummy gravy, very well done. Flapjack breakfast was perfection, fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked bacon, the only complaint was the scrambled eggs, they were slightly rubbery, like they came out of a carton. Overall, we will eat here whenever we're in Moab!
We got three breakfasts at Cactus Jacks. Unfortunately, all of them were cold and dry. The eggs were fine but it felt like it was good way before we ordered it. I liked the bacon most out of everything because it felt like it was the only freshly made item. The vibe is nice and the decor is cool. We also got a hot mocha with the breakfast which was great! I would not go there for a full breakfast. Maybe just coffee and a snack for me.
This place was recommended to us by our BASE jumping guide (shoutout to Matt with Tandem BASE Moab) and it did not disappoint. The portions are so generous and everything was reasonably priced -- not to mention, everything was delicious. Earl is right. The parking situation is quite crowded, and we parked on a side street nearby. Our server was great, and the restaurant wasn't too noisy!
Great food, amazing atmosphere wonderful service! Highly recommend. Most definitely be back if I'm in the area if you have the time stop by.

We've been in Moab for a week and this is hand down our favorite place! Great pricing, didn't take long to get sat or get our food, and our server Juniper was amazing. We felt welcome and invited, and the local diner vibe was great. We happened to visit during Jeep Week and most of the business were flustered, but Cactus Jack's had it down! read more

Based on reviews we dropped by. Inside rustic yet contemporary, clean, pleasant. Lovely murals on the walls. We came in for breakfast, went out full and pleased. Everything was cooked to order, coffee fresh and hot. Husband had the waffle breakfast , I had a standard. I asked for egg whites, and they were beautifully grilled. Bacon thick and full flavored. Definitely worth the stop. We're powered up for a great day in Moab. read more
Great food, decent prices and super friendly service. My friend can't stop talking about the pancakes he had and thank gosh they were so amazing for him as he has talked about pancakes daily on our trip to Moab! We would definitely eat here again. read more

Food is great, service was friendly. There was a really long wait on Sunday but Monday around noon, zero wait. Ambiance is relaxed - no need to dress up here at all. I got the Southwest Bowl with sausage, it was really tasty. Travel mate got the Big Biscuit and said it was super filling. He also tried the Cactus Mule and a Blackberry Smash - he liked the mule, wasn't a huge fan of the smash. read more

Went in at 9 am on a nice March Saturday morning. Quick service. The big biscuit was delicious. Hash browns were crisp with a touch of hot sauce on it. The biscuit was beautifully assembled, lots of yummy gravy on it. Very conveniently located from Moab downtown hotel. 100 feet away :) cocktails available 10:30 am to close on weekends and 11:30 to close on weekdays. read more
The young lady greeting people had to be the worst I've ever seen in years. We were seated close to the entry way and it wasn't just with us. When she was there, she wasn't just grumpy, she was rude. The quite a few times she was absent another server stepped in for her! The servers were a lot happier and actually smiled. The food was good and tasty. read more

Customer service is paramount in any dining experience, and our recent visit to cactus jacks exemplified this to perfection. Our server, Crystal, truly went above and beyond to ensure our meal was not just enjoyable, but memorable. From the moment we were seated, Crystal greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. She took the time to listen attentively to our orders, ensuring that each dish was prepared exactly to our specifications. Not only did our food arrive promptly, but it was also presented beautifully and tasted absolutely delicious. What truly set Crystal apart was her unwavering attentiveness throughout the entire meal. Despite being busy, she made us feel like we were her top priority, checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. Her friendly demeanor and impeccable service truly enhanced our dining experience. In a world where exceptional customer service can be hard to come by, Crystal's dedication to her craft was truly commendable. She made us feel valued and appreciated, and her genuine care and attention did not go unnoticed. Overall, our experience at Cactus Jacks was elevated by Crystal's outstanding service. She is a true asset to the team, and we look forward to returning soon to enjoy her exceptional hospitality once again. We had good food to, nothing major to talk about or put in a ton of effort to but the time there was good and the service was even better. read more

This place is dynamite! Out of all the meals we had in Moab during our several days there, this was one of the best. Service from the hostess to the table side waitress was prompt & quite friendly. The restaurant has open flooring and is not cluttered, and seating is comfy. The food we ordered, chicken, biscuits, with eggs and associative sides was honestly some of the best chicken (outside of home cooking) that I've ever had. If you're ever in Moab, this is must see TV and worth your time to stop at. read more

So freakin delicious! Thick bacon, fluffy moist biscuits, amazing hash browns. They brought me more cooked bacon when I asked (I like mine crispy) which was so nice. They underestimated the wait. They said 15-20 min and it was 35 min. Service was slow but they were busy. But happy and nice service read more

Overall disappointed with my experience at Cactus Jacks. The good: The restaurant is clean and welcoming. THE REST: Service: We walked in to a quiet restaurant. The host was friendly and we were seated promptly. Our server took 10 minutes to arrive and took food and drink orders at once. Drinks came out quick. Food: We waited about 20 minutes for food, which would be okay if there was a reason. Instead all of our food was lukewarm. My chicken was covered in a rubbery tough coating. The waffle was cold and hard. The butter garnish didn't even melt because the waffle was cold. I didn't eat the waffle. They also served a scant amount of corn syrup with the waffles. The potatoes on the plates were undercooked and pale. The biscuits are gravy: biscuit was dry and tough and the gravy was flavorless (salt and pepper might be the only "seasoning".) The menu has potential, but the kitchen staff, timing, and recipes clearly need adjustments. If bland, salty, and cold food are your thing eat here! Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this place. Future visits to Moab will be spent exploring other restaurants. read more
