We had a great breakfast each morning at Cactus Jacks Moab over a long weekend. Three mornings, three different waitresses, fast enough service, even with a longer wait on a packed Sunday morning. We usually try not to eat at the same restaurant twice when we're in a new town, but we made an exception for Cactus Jacks! No need to look anywhere else for breakfast. The portions were large, cooked to order, the french toast is to die for, and it was really nice to see the waitresses and bussers fully cleaning each table and booth. read more

Pretty solid breakfast and lunch food. The fish I got had a nice fry. Not bad to stop by before heading out hiking. read more

A must for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Get there before they close! We arrived around noon on a Thursday after hiking all of Devil's Garden and didn't realize how hungry we were until the food came. The waffles with the chicken are the best I can recall. My 19-yo son absolutely demolished his Cactus Jack's burger which also came with pico de gallo and fancy greens. read more

Delicious food, great variety. We loved the sweet cream pancakes, chilaquiles, and chicken and a biscuit breakfast. Service was great! It was busy, but wait time was reasonable. It was very clean and we loved the decor. read more

Pancakes are really good, cinnamon rolls are really big, and the wait on a Friday before Memorial Day was only 15 minutes. Parking is scarce, so you may need to park in the motel lot next door. We also had a side of corned beef hash but it was underwhelming. A $3 'side' of berries was a condiment cup with one sliced strawberry, one blackberry and about 6 blueberries. An order of eggs Benedict (Ned's Benedict) was good. read more

The food was very good and the service was exceptional. Did have to ask for refills. Police asked if we needed anything. Had a good time would come back love the bacon. read more

Small expensive portions. If you're looking to have a cocktail with your meal I'd save your money.

This is a very rude place the waitress didn't say hello or anything except just ask how many I said 1, she didn't say follow me or so, she throw the menu on the bar table and left. I didn't even had time to tell her i have a back problem and simply can't sit at the bar with hi chair, was trying to find her but she just ran away so I left this place. You couldn't be that rude. And I understand why, I'm just a single person less food, less pay, less tips. Of course it's understandable but you can't be that greedy. Good luck with your life! read more

Came for breakfast - got a flapjack platter and my boyfriend got the waffle platter. I like my bacon crispy, this bacon was pretty floppy, but it was a thick cut so there's that. Boyfriend got sausage patties and loved it. Pancakes and waffles were pretty darn big. Great portions. Our server was attentive and cordial. The hostess was inviting and sweet. read more

Brunch and liquor drinks. What more could one want? This is easily the best breakfast/lunch spot in Moab. I love a simple breakfast which they do well however, an elevated brunch menu and I am thriving. Everything here was so good! The fried chicken, waffles and hollandaise sauce were all top notch. read more

Went for breakfast while visiting family in Moab and it was delicious! I had the CHX Benny which included a biscuit, a fried and well seasoned chicken breast, poached egg (it comes with a hard fried egg but I asked them to swap it out), and a smooth velvety Hollendaise sauce. 2 bennys and hash browns - I could only eat one but it didn't go to waste! My brother-in-law finished it for me! Hubby got the breakfast burrito and said it was very good - he, too, couldn't finish it! Excellent service and friendly staff. I'd highly recommend Cactus Jacks if you're visiting Moab! read more

Food took forever to come out, was super mid, and the orders were off, but server did give us a decent discount due to the mistakes and wait time. We were kind of stoked to eat here after camping for a couple days, and it just didn't really hit the spot:/ The server definitely made up for it though and gave us a FAT cinnamon roll to make up for everything. Service 5/5 Food 2/5 Ambiance 4/5 read more

Huevos Rancheros were - the best anywhere. Carnitas tacos were fantastic too. Busy place but worth it

Good food! They were easygoing about our food needs - served my food without cheese and offered an alternative to bread for my husband.

As soon as you walk in everyone is happy to be there and glad to see you. Water as soon as we sat down, and Ms. Lesly was quick to get our drink orders while we viewed the menu, of which she immediately told us the local favorites; and her own without being prompted. Which made our selections much quicker. Utahan bacon is amazing as the sides. AM bowl was huge, but amazing, save some for post hike snack, :). Huevos Rancheros had just the right spice and amazing fresh flavors. All ingredients fresh, clean, and flavorful. read more

Just real good food at great prices. Nothing fancy but the sweet cream pancakes are delicious with the veggie omelet. Plus their espresso is tasty too. If you're passing through Cactus will keep you on your way. Staying a spell in Moab you just might repeat your visits. Enjoy. read more

I have tried to call and facebook message regarding wanting to come in with a group of 12 on my visit to Moab in June. No one answers the phone. They read my facebook message which simply asked if they take reservations and that I've tried to call with no answers and would love to just get an answer on my few simple questions and they just did not respond. Phone seems to be a cellphone which is odd. Seems that none of the Moab restaurants answer their phones for some reason. Not looking like its going to be a great restaurant experience while visiting Moab if they can't even get anyone to answer their phones. read more

We couldn't decide where to go to breakfast before we headed out of Moab, and decided to make it simple and just go to the place attached to our hotel - what a great choice it was! We got there right before 7:00 when they opened, and our server opened the door with a smiling and friendly face. She was wonderful the entire time, chatting with us and making sure our coffee cups were full! It was super cute inside, and she told how they close for 6 weeks every year while they add something new, so there's a lot of loving care put into this place! Our food was just as great - the hubby loved his AM burrito, and I enjoyed my waffles with eggs any way and a choice of protein. I got the sausage patties, which were flavorful and delicious! My only suggestion is - it would been so nice if they had opened at 6:00, we just wanted to get on the road, but I feel all the places in Moab really don't open until 7:00. read more

In Moab for a very short time, we stumbled upon Canyon Steak and Waffle after we found that the diner nearby was closed on Sundays. And thank goodness because we absolutely loved this place! Food came out super fast despite how busy they were, and service was fantastic. Their mimosas and other breakfast cocktails were amazing and the food! I ordered the Western-ish Omelet which was 3 eggs with peppers, onions, cheese and your choice of bacon, sausage, ham plus a side of hash browns and toast. I got mine with bacon with wheat toast and added a side of Chicken Fried Steak. BTW - THIS is the move. The Omelet was fluffy and flavorful and perfectly cooked, but ya girl needs more meat in her breakfast and I have a soft spot for a good Chicken Friend Steak. This was definitely a good one. Tender and tasty with the perfect country gravy on top. SO GOOD! The rest of the table got in on their Chicken and Waffles and French Toast Breakfast and they all loved their plates. Casual, friendly and simple, solid breakfast options. This is gonna be my must-stop breakfast spot in Moab from now on. read more

We arrived and were seated in the bar area immediately. We'd already had enough coffee for the morning so we asked for water, and they brought two glasses full of and a carafe for our table... which I LOVE being a big water drinker who hates to wait for my glass to be refilled! I ordered the Eggs Benedict and my hubby had the French toast with eggs and sausage links. Both were delicious and large enough servings that we both took leftovers home. Evelyn, our server, was attentive and very friendly even Hugh it appeared that she was handling the entire bar area. As we were leaving there was a large line waiting to be seated, so go early as it gets busy! I would definitely go there again! read more

This place is so good that I came two days in a row for the breakfast. I got the Western-ish omelette with hashbrowns a side of the "baby jacks" aka mini pancakes. You get a ton of food for $15 and it is all delicious. I could not finish my food either day. The omelette is so yummy with fresh high quality ingredients. The clear winner are the baby jacks. I am not even a huge pancake fan, but these things are like crack. They are so good and addicting! The environment is clean and sleek with minimalist decor. It is very welcoming and comfortable. The service was top notch and super friendly, very accomodating. They have great retail items for sale, but unfortunately they were low on sizes so I could not grab a cute t-shirt. I can't recommend this spot enough! read more

First, pancakes were really good. Learned they add sweet milk to them. I wish I wasn't on low carb. Had breakfast and it was crowded at 10am but we got sat right away. Had the AM bowl and it was really good with the green chile sauce. She had a veggie scramble and liked it. Server was attentive. I would go back here just to eat another pancake. Place felt like a busy, clean diner. read more
