    Crispy chicken sandwich
    Jennifer H.

For a bar it's not overly loud and it's easy to hear people you are talking to. The food is always great here. Today I had the crispy chicken sandwich, it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in a long time. It was crispy, juicy with a little kick . Also the drinks here are always great whether you are getting a draft beer or a mixed drink

    Sticky wings and Caesar Salad

First timer, always drive by, and it's always packed. Let's talk about the food. I like the sticky chicken wings, sauce is sweet, definitely could've used more though. The Caesar salad was dressed very well, and I really liked the croutons. We love a spot who offers good mocktails, and their blackberry no-jito (cute name) was definitely up to par! There is a parking lot right next to it, and I believe another one in the back. There is also additional street parking, and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Chairs are size friendly as well.

Far exceeded expectations! After reading other reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, but am so glad I decided to try them for lunch. I've been before late night for drinks, but never to eat. We started with the fried pickles and garlic parm wings. The waitress was even kind enough to add a side of the bourbon sauce as we were torn on which flavor to order. The pickles were perfectly crispy which is exactly what I look for in a fried pickle. Wings were well cooked and full of flavor. The bourbon sauce was so good we dipped almost everything in it. The banh mi (a special) was the star of the show. The chicken pate combined with the pickled vegetables and cilantro was the perfect combination of flavor, and the roll they served it on was divine. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, and added to our overall wonderful experience. The space had plenty of seating options including a booth (which we opted for). All in all a wonderful visit and somewhere I will definitely be back to!

    Classic Margaritas

This place is for the most part always packed. The service is pretty fast for the amount of people that were there. We went on a Thursday as it's 1/2 off wings after 4:00 pm they have varies flavors. We ordered the bourbon flavor and my Favorite lemon pepper that never disappoint. The sweet potato fries could have been cooked a bit longer. I had a classic margarita that was amazing, great bartender. The Ambiance was very casual, music was good, hockey playing on multiple screens. It would be nice if the screens had varies sports playing. The menus could be updated and maybe laminated. They have a back room for events and a outside patio for the summer

Great wings! Wing night on Thursdays is definitely worth stopping in for! We've tried several flavors and they are always cooked perfectly!

Penne pasta with Alfredo and blackened chicken
    Kylie K.

Downtown signage caught my attention, drive by and thought it was a bar...popped my head in and was pleasantly surprised to smell Friday night food and drinks! The screens were filled with the Olympics, youth softball, women's softball, and a variety of guests from families, to a rowdy group stopping in for a drink. My son and I had the chicken Parm sliders, curly fries, but the Alfredo penne pasta with blackened shrimp is the most delicious Alfredo sauce I have ever had and that says a lot because we have been all over the world. It was so good we got an order to go with blackened chicken and I'm eating that right now.

    Brunch

Underrated brunch in Providence! Really enjoyed brunch here, with tons of options, it was delicious and unique. We ordered mimosas, and could choose from tons of juice options such as the classic orange or cranberry, and also guava, passionfruit, grapefruit and pineapple - which I thought was amazing! The brunch food was also really delicious, I especially enjoyed the homemade French toast sticks, pulled pork eggs Benedict and chicken and waffle. Everything tasted fresh and so good! Service was fast and amazing since was a cool bar feel with cozy corners for intimate conversations.

Photod is the terrible waitress who vaped and played drinking cup games while we waited for service for an hour

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.

Luckily we did make reservation for early dinner so we were able to find parking right away. We got there early so the restaurant wasn't open yet. We took a walk around the Westminster for a bit until the place was open. We were sat down right away. Inside is cozy with dim lights and open kitchen and some tables. They have few outside seating available as well. We started with some appetizer raw fish and combo as well as kohlrabi Caesar. We got black bass and a seasonal fish with combo that included lightly roasted oysters, shrimp and squid. All seafood was directly sourced from local port and fresh. Seafood appetizer was delicious. The caesar was interesting. I've never had kohlrabi but it reminded me of radish and it was tasty. Personally i would have preferred little less salt and olive oil so that flavor of the raw ingredient stand out more but was not too bad. My entree was the seafood risotto. Flavorful risotto with some seafood on top. Was a bit messy to eat because of the shells but was flavorful. The crab and shellfish itself was small and a bit underwhelming but the rice was rich and full of fish flavor. My mother had the cacio e Pepe which was good but she said that nothing comparable to one she had in Rome. I was not a huge fan of the thicker pasta but that's just is personal preference. Service was excellent but the table was a bit small and tight as we were very close to the next table and can hear what others are talking about so not a very privately setting. Overall i did like the place. Food and service were good. But it was not anything exceeding expectation and there were few things that detracted from our experience such as heavy seasonings, small dining space and etc... The price is quite expensive for the amount of food they serve as well. I think it's a good place for special occasions.

The drink, Fuchsia Butterflies ($15), was made solarium gin, house-made lemoncello, with a Gran Classico & Violet Rinse. It was quite excellent. I had a sip to try (I am usually not one for cocktails) and enjoyed the taste. Perhaps I will try cocktails in the future. For food we shared curry moules frites, well done, just how I like them, and salt and vinegar Wings - tasty but too salty which detracted from the dish. I ended up going alone this time, but I came back with enough leftovers and commentary to share that the whole experience could easily be pieced together in anyone's head pretty clearly. The first thing that stands out is the setup. It's casual in the best possible way. Nothing pretentious, nothing overworked. You walk up, order, wait a bit, and then suddenly you've got seafood in a paper tray that somehow tastes like summer even when you're wedged into a busy city block instead of sitting by the water. There's a kind of controlled chaos to it, especially during peak hours, but it moves. I went with the absolute classics without hesitation: a fried fish sandwich and a side of fries, plus a lobster roll that, frankly, looked like it was built for someone who doesn't believe in restraint. The fish sandwich was the standout. Crisp coating, flaky inside, not greasy in that heavy way that ruins a good fry. The bun held together without collapsing into mush, which is always a small victory in a city seafood spot. The fries were solid, nothing revolutionary, but they did their job without trying to steal attention from the main event. The lobster roll was more of a classic Rhode Island style than anything over-complicated. Generous chunks, lightly dressed, and not drowned in filler. It leaned into freshness rather than gimmicks, which is exactly what you want when you're this close to the water. It didn't feel like it was trying to reinvent anything, just execute the basics well enough that you stop thinking about it and just eat. What I like about places like this is that they don't overpromise. Dune Brothers isn't trying to be a white-tablecloth seafood restaurant, and it doesn't need to be. It's quick, it's reliable, and it feels like it belongs in downtown.

I did try their charcuterie board, and it's so delicious and filling, and perfect for picking at a little something while you have your delicious drinks. There's also parking you can pay for right on the corners, so there are different ways of finding a place to park. Taking an Uber would be a great idea as well, so you don't have to deal with anything and can drink as much as you want. They do not have valet. Service: The service has always been super friendly and very accommodating. Honestly, all the times that I've gone, they've been very helpful with helping us get seats and just giving us a great experience, even with how busy it gets. One of the hostesses was an absolute doll. We loved her. We sat for just a little while waiting for appetizers, and my wife discovered that her ASS REALLY HURT, badly, and mine was getting bad too, due to my lack of natural cushion back there. My wife stood up and never sat back down. She noticed a 4 top leaving and asked the hostess if we could move, completely unaware of the challenges this can pose the crew during the course of business (changing table numbers in a POS isn't always as easy as it sounds). But she agreed it should be ok. They were busy, too, and I heard that they had some staff call in "sick" after a wild 4th of July. So they took care of us and I was really grateful for that. My Mexican Corn Chicken Sando was ok... the flavors kind of got mixed together on a way that it didn't really taste that awesome to me. The wife loved her Huevos Rancheros, despite the hair she found in it (after having them change our seats, she was too embarrassed to say anything about that) and the tortillas that were so Chewy, they were inedible, she really enjoyed it. Our daughter really really liked the poutine a lot. All in all, I wouldn't rush back here, but I think our main complaint was the accursed seating. Aside from the high top, man, on the regular seats you're just sitting on a flat block of wood. McDonald's has more comfortable seating, and McDonald's intentionally makes the seating slightly uncomfortable so you don't just sit there forever, taking up a table. Anyway, it was alright.
