Disappointing dry and tough lamb slices. Hasn't been like that before...

I've been here many times, and always order the same thing (lamb hot pot, weekday lunch), and it's usually good, but this time, I was very disappointed. The lamb, instead of the usual tender, slightly-fatty thin slices, was very lean and tough. I couldn't even finish it and brought it home, hence the picture on a plate from home. I at first wondered if it was even lamb, but it did taste lamb-y... Service was fine. Just disappointed in the meat. My friend, who ordered her usual beef hot pot, also said it wasn't as good as usual. I did try some of hers, and it was at least a bit better than the lamb!

We love boiling point overall. The beef hot pot is my good to and constant with flavor and topping. Spicy level may fluctuate though. You can ask for extra broth to tone down the spicy. This location is small and extremely busy even on a weekday. It was an hour wait for 3 people and minimal space to wait inside. Free parking is a plus and shops like target near by to wander.

I went here for lunch. The wait was 0 minutes. This place is casual. Smell is quite smoky. The wifi is BPguest password is ilovebpg. Btw, this place uses QR code menus. A good thing I noticed was that this place has Chinese translations. The people give us noodle packets before hot pot arrives. I took the house special. The house special was light and the meat was very good, the egg and rice cake was hard, the veggies were ok, and the noodles were delicious. Tip: lunch prices are cheaper than dinner prices.

Just had our hotpot fix at boiling point in Redmond location. Parking: much better than bellevue location Restroom: 1 gender neutral restroom Capacity: 40 max Check in: via their tablet in person check in We decided to come today due to their promo of buy 1 pot + 1 drink, you get the voucher for 1 pot + 1 drink, that can be use starting next day till up to 1 year. Location and dates varies. See their website. We ordered our usual pot beef and house specials with rice, and of course drinks. The lines was super long. Wait for about 1hr. Originally we went to bellevue, the tablet says we are number 14 as for group of 3-4. We left to redmond one bec I checked on bp app, the redmond one us only have 4 group of 3-4 waiting. But when we got here, we were number 8. Remember redmond location is smaller. Service is amazing. Thanks, guys!!

    #9 Japanese Miso Hot Soup

Ordered the Miso which is my usual at the Bellevue location and it tasted very off. As I continued to eat, I noticed a string which was tied around the leg of my crab. The server told me it was normal and I was fine with finishing the rest of my soup but it was a thick piece of plastic string. They didn't apologize but at the end comped my meal, still no accountability. Service was pretty bad as well, my table had to keep calling them to ask for help and water refills.

Came here on a Saturday with five people and the wait wasn't too terrible. The food was tasty and flavorful. The dishes are deep and you get a lot for your money. Overall it was a good experience.

Lamb hot pot (nonspicy but still spicy)

I can't rate this place highly when the "nonspicy" option is still quite spicy and the broth is literally red. This is basically false advertising. It was also cold when it came to my table. The protein and ingredients are also so meager compared to places like Happy Lamb at a similar price point.

I visited this BP at 1pm on a Friday for dine-in and the restaurant was full. There was a waitlist to be seated, with two groups ahead of me. After ~30 minutes of waiting and no progress on the waitlist we decided to just order for takeout. The order took 10 minutes. Beef lamb hot soup with vermicelli was savory and delicious, with various filling ingredients. The soup comes with tea (green or black) and konjac jelly. I ordered non-spicy soup and it came with chili oil on the side so I could control how spicy I wanted it to be. 4 outta 5 due to our dine-in experience; they need a larger restaurant.

Does boiling point ever disappoint? Whenever visiting a boiling point I defer to consistency across all their locations and the redmond location did not disappoint. The interior is fairly small with enough tables to seat about 20, I opted for to go for this meal. I ordered the tawainese spicy, with cooked vermicelli noodles. It was well packaged, still hot when I got it home, and the spice level was perfect. If you're familiar with boiling point, you'll get what you're expecting. If you've never been, highly recommend!

I've only gotten the standard pork katsu so far, but I imagine their other offerings likely elevate things even more. The staff here is amazing. They are nice, friendly, and very efficient at their work. All of them, not just the servers but busers, janitor, cooks, everyone. The owner and managers must be very good at selecting the right staff and training them well. As an example, when I pulled out my credit card to pay, a server was there in literally 3 seconds to present me the bill. The restaurant is very cozy and not too loud. There is often a line here, but don't let that deter you. It moves fast, and people in line seem to be having fun. First time trying the Redmond location and it was just as good (minus the wait). If it's your first time, go for the rosu or hire cutlet. I've tried the premium cuts like iberico and kurobuta, but honestly didn't find a huge difference in taste. What stands out is the texture--super crispy coating with juicy, tender pork inside. The sides and condiments are well thought out too. I'm a big fan of the tomato & cheese add-on. The curry add on, on the other hand, was too overpowering in flavor and masked the pork's natural flavor. Definitely a Seattle staple and worth checking out if you enjoy pork cutlet!

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.
