Been wanting to try this food truck and caught them today. EXCELLENT QUICK SERVICE! Food was fresh and Soooo good! Lobster was fresh and flavorful and I can appreciate that as a Northerner! Shrimp were huge and there had to be at least 15-20. Awesome! Will be back to try the fried lobster roll next! Try them out! You won't be sorry!

I've been seeing this business pop up everywhere all of a sudden so of course I hunt them down and go! Lobster rolls are far and few between, but this one is close to home and I'm all for it!! I stalk on IG, and show up on a Thursday afternoon around 3:35pm. Imagine my disappointment when I find out their lobster rolls are sold out. No worries. The owners Bobby and Andrea take a timeout to talk to me. I go the next day. Omg! It was definitely worth the anticipation and wait! 5 oz of straight Maine lobster meat on a Boston brioche buttered roll was exactly what I needed! It came with old bay seasoned chips and a side of melted butter to pour on your roll. Absolutely delectable!! It's worth the $26.95. They also have chicken wings, coconut shrimp, clam strips, and more! You must come try them out!!

Hands down this is the best lobster roll in the area! I was very pleased with my purchase yesterday. I was half way through eating the roll before I remembered to take a picture. I will be back! It's pricey but it is sooo worth it.

I'm surprised this place isn't more popular. Lobster roll was loaded with perfectly cooked, buttery lobster that falls off the sandwich so you can have a lobster snack after you're done eating. Genius!

CT style, served warm with butter!

First time trying the CT style roll, oh man hands down "The Best Lobster roll" I've had, loaded full of juicy yummy delicious morsels of lobster cooked perfectly. Worth every penny of $23.99, don't sleep on this little gold mine, definitely a MUST try, you won't be disappointed!!

The freshest lobster meat in town!! Full of flavor, huge and oh so good!!!

The Lobster Rolls are AMAZING!! I have tried them all, Bite of Maine, MAson's and now Bobbys. The difference is that Bobbys Lobster Rolls are fresh, delicious and most of all full of juicy, buttery lobster meat!!

    Connecticut Lobster Roll

Absolutely amazing! The taste was spot on and the amount of lobster meat they serve with each order is amazing! This place is my new favorite spots! Made the drive all the way from Hampton and I do not regret it. Going back today! Service was amazing as well! They are super friendly. They brought the food to my car because it was raining.

I pulled into a parking lot on Battlefield Blvd and almost missed the little red trailer. I'm so glad I stopped. The lobster roll is just that LOB-stah, (i had at least 3 claws in the 5 oz.) perfectly seasoned - no filler, just flavor that had a hint of celery and salt, on a buttered & toasted bun. I took a bite and it melted in my mouth. I waited for my crinkle fries and dipped them in the butter instead of the ketchup or mayo-based spicy sauce.

    Me and Bobby (owner)

We had the best lobster roll and also a lobster cheese sandwich. Don't forget the bang bang sauce, it's out of this world. The coleslaw is the best I've ever had. Bobby is a great business owner and I feel like we had met a friend. It's worth the trip and you won't be disappointed. We look forward to trying to catch up with him again next time we're in the area. Thanks again Bobby. God bless.

    Maine Lobster roll

Great food. Nice people. Lobster roll was chucked full of lobster meat. Lister Mac n cheese was awesome. Great cheese sauce and tons of lobster meat. Not too rich which often happens with Mac and cheese.

Best lobster roll in town I had wanted to try fried lobster for awhile now and this place is so delicious!! 10 outta 10 recommend I tried the Connecticut roll this week and it was equally as delicious

The batter is delicious and the sugar topping creates that perfect savory and sweet balance. We also got an order of the Chinese donuts which came with chocolate and strawberry dipping sauces. Lastly, we ordered the triple sauced chicken which came with rice. Everything was delicious but the corn dogs are for sure the standouts! You must try one! This is a family run business and you can tell they put a lot of work into their food. Go to Facebook or Instagram to find out where they'll be and try out their food. They have only been operating for a month now, this was their third brewery appearance. For appetizers they have a buffalo chicken dip and pimento cheese nacho- talk about solid brewery apps! Most of their menu items are types of wraps. Their special was chicken fajita tacos (Cinco de Mayo celebration) and for dessert they had a crispy ice cream sandwich. One unique thing that I don't see many food trucks do, is they offer kids menu items as well! Again- it is just their third day- this could all be totally different once they are more established and have tried different things. I opted to get the ice cream sandwich, because I'm a total sucker for dessert. I ate this first. Two crispy shells with a cinnamon sugar mix and if I'm not wrong it possibly a second seasoning that had a little kick to it. Maybe it was a touch of cayenne? Definitely not strong or overpowering in spice, just a little something to make it interesting. In the middle was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The vanilla was complimented by the cinnamon and the chocolate was complimented by whatever that other ingredient was. I was definitely a fan! The more I ate the more I wanted more! I also got the chicken fajita taco special. I should point out that if I didn't go for the food truck option at Smartmouth I was headed to my favorite taco spot in VB. Maybe it was the unintentional comparison of the authentic street taco from my favorite spot, but these tacos fell a little flat for me. Not letting it really affect my review, because I did eat dessert first and then I messed around taking pictures before getting to them. It might be a "it's not you, it's me" thing with the tacos- I'll own this one. The tacos were served with a side of corn on the cob. It had a lemon cilantro butter which was fantastic! I'll definitely be craving that corn again sometime! The prices were on the lower-side of average for the food truck scene in Hampton Roads. Prices are another thing that might change as they are in business longer. They were also extra friendly from the moment I stepped up to the truck! Offering me whatever I needed and even getting out of the truck to come ask me a question of convenience, not necessity. I know several spots that would have just shouted it or not even bothered. So far so good! I hope they keep popping up at Smartmouth VB so I can try more of their menu and see how they change things up as they get a few more months of operation behind them! I'll definitely be updating as I try more! Next time I'm definitely going for the pimento cheese nachos!

I stopped by during their pop up at Farmhouse Brewery and, once again, they did not disappoint. One thing you need to know: their burritos are massive. We're talking "the size of your head" big, so come hungry or be ready for some epic leftovers. The menu is small and focused (usually around four burrito choices), but every single one is packed with quality ingredients and flavor. The Coop spends most days serving on base, but keep an eye out for their local pop-ups. They're always worth chasing down. This time around, I ordered the Pepper Jack Chicken Burrito which was grilled chicken breast, maple bacon, melty pepper jack cheese, and their signature Coop Sauce, all bundled up in a warm tortilla. Every bite was the perfect balance of hearty, savory, spicy, and just a hint sweet from the bacon. Their Coop sauce is one of a kind. Tangy, and delicious. I'm sure adding an egg would take it to the next level (that's an option on all burritos). My friends had the Breakfast Burrito! This one comes with fluffy scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar cheese, juicy sausage, more of that craveable maple bacon, herby potatoes, and (of course) the signature Coop Sauce. They raved about every bite. I appreciate that The Coop keeps things simple with their streamlined menu and focus on top-notch burritos. Whenever I see them around town, I make it a point to stop ... even if there's a line, it moves fast and is absolutely worth the wait. Whether you're looking for a new lunch favorite or just crave seriously great street food, The Coop is a true gem on the Virginia Beach food truck scene.
