Best BBQ around! Great staff! Worth the drive from North Scottsdale. Nikki's the best server, friendly and professional.

Bobby q was a great experience. I was so impressed with the service and our food was excellent!! Hidden gem in Mesa

We love BBQ and noticed the location after leaving the movies across the street. The entry contained congenial hosts but we decided to sit at the bar. The staff were all friendly and helpful while making our menu decisions. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and don't leave without the mini fresh cooked donuts for desert. We have been back three times since our first visit 2 months ago. A visit to the movies almost always means a trip to Bobby Q afterword. You will not be disappointed read more

Food was ok. Service was fine. Thinking I need to order more than a salad for future- if we try this place again. Restaurant was semi busy so not sure. read more

Today is Father's Day and what man doesn't like BBQ? We decided to give Bobby Q's a try. We were impressed from the moment we walked through the door. We sat at the bar because the wait was over an hour and I can see why. Great atmosphere, great beer, great food, and our bartender Amber was on point. We'll be making Bobby Q's a regular place. Thank you for making Father's Day extra special. read more

Best ribs! The wedge salad is amazing, and their macaroni and cheese is delicious. Love the early bird menu

This is the best place for excellent BBQ meals. One of the best happy hours in The Valley. Can't never beat the customer service. The place is fantastic right off the highway. If you ever get stock on stapley rd exit, don't get stress pull over and and joint this fantastic place!, the inside and outdoors are super clean areas. And the food is super super delicious. I gave it more than two thumps up! read more

This is the most amazing food I have ever eaten. It took me years to get to the Phoenix location - until I finally insisted that's where I wanted to go for my birthday The food goes beyond expectations! It is the perfect balance of flavors - not overly smokey and not overly spiced. I tell everyone I can about this food - and now there are no excuses for my east valley friends and family not to try it! The new location has the same high quality, friendly staff, and delicious food! read more

Service was very friendly and prompt! We ordered the brisket rolls which were hot and crispy and came with a delicious chipotle sauce for dipping. And we split a rack of baby back ribs and selected the potato salad and the macaroni and cheese. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the macaroni and cheese was creamy and flavorful and potato salad was decent. The menu was a bit on the pricey side but I wasn't mad about it based on the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. My drink, the Drive-In, was superb. Free hot donuts with your check! Recommend! read more

delicious unbelievable best bbq and potato salad that i have had since my husbands and joe's real bbq in gilbert i dd nopt thik that it would come cose, but i was pleasantly suprized read more

This was a very good place to eat. The service was excellent. It was very busy when we went but the food arrived quickly once ordered. We had ribs and I would give them a 3.5 out of 5. They were good but not great. I would definitely recommend it to friends and will return again. I think next time I'll try the steaks. read more

Best barbecue in valley. I grew up with the old Bobby Magee's and this an outstanding evolution. Heather was an outstanding server, funny, friendly and attentive. read more

This place did not disappoint. The Q rolls were fantastic, the brisket my husband ordered was so tender, and the fresh donuts they give as you're leaving were delicious. Atmosphere was nice. Great service. Only downside is it's on the pricey side. read more

This is great BBQ food and the portions are really good we are thankful that good BBQ is close by

Excellent food. Service was fast courteous and spot on. I recommend this to everyone. The whole Hog Platter is a can't miss choice.

The food was WONDERFUL, the service was NOT. I felt kind of ignored. i had dropped my fork on the ground (which was my mistake), and we all had empty glasses. i had to flag someone down for a new fork she said she would send our waiter over an it was at least another 10 minutes before we saw him. i will go back for another try, ill just need to plan on being there longer and waiting on them more. read more

This, hands down, is the best damn bbq I've ever had... plus the atmosphere there is awesome!

Looked on Yelp for somewhere to go for lunch. We had to wait a little bit before being acknowledged by our server but the hostess came by and asked if we'd been served yet, and then not 1 minute later the "manger" on duty came by and offered us a free appetizer for having to wait!! The food was pretty good, pulled pork sandwich and a sliced beef brisket sandwich...the ranch beans were yummy! And then u get free donuts when u leave! Can't be bad eh?! read more

Great place to grub some bbq. Inside was pleasantly relaxing and come check this place out. Host was promptly greetings as the server Carlos was excellent. Thank you for a great lunch. read more

It doesn't get any better than Bobby Q's! The BBQ is top notch & super tender. The macaroni & cheese is out of this world. The cornbread & donuts is also some of the best. The service here is incredible! I'm so thankful they opened up a location closer to us! read more

Love love LOVE this place!! Everything is so delicious and their Mac and cheese is to die for!! My favorite place to eat and very friendly staff! And me and my family love the donuts you get at the end! read more

Love Bobby Q happy hour for great appetizers and drinks. Food is awesome and environment is very relaxing!!!! Love the donuts!!!

Finally, a great BBQ place in the East Valley. Everything was perfectly delicious! I did like the baby back ribs better than the St. Louis. The burger was huge. The mac and cheese is to die for. They give you free cornbread for the table which was very moist and tasty. Our server, Huntley, was exceptional. The manager, Dan, checked on us and very pleasant and kind. My only complaint is that they didn't have any of their donuts ready :( read more

Love the food, although we got skimped out on the drink with it being more ice than mixed alcoholic drinks. Not worth the price of the drink. read more

Best BBQ in town!!! Atmosphere is great, location is good, right off the 60. Service was good, but the food is amazing!! Best wings ever!! Amazing appetizers and entrees! Must try if you haven't yet! read more

Must ask for the spicy BBQ sauce! So good!

Great food and experience. Not a great place to stay for long get togethers or reunions, since they have to turn tables quick to get the long line of people in. But this place was totally great, can't wait to go back. read more

I love Bobby's. This Mesa location is much more convenient than the Phoenix one. I only get the brisket to go. Meat is always perfect. The only thing is that they can sometime be a little stingy on the sauce. Depends on who waits on you. read more

The bbq is well seasoned and you get a nice size portion of meat, but the sides are very small. The service can be slow, but the wait staff is friendly. Also, you get complimentary donut holes, which are fresh, hot and good. read more

I will give them that the food was pretty tasty, the service was pretty mediocre, and the prices were extremely high in my opinion for a barbecue joint. I don't know that I'll be back, that statement is not based on the quality or the taste of the food but more so the value of the food and the service we were provided. It also was not very busy when we were in there and took an extremely long time to even get our drinks out read more

Incredible BBQ, food, drinks, environment and service! You definitely get what you pay for folks!

This was my first time at Bobby-Q and i was extremely happy with my experience. From the moment you walk in the door you are greated with a smile by all of the hostesses. Our waitress was awesome and very personable, i wish i would have caught her name, i was there 10/21/16 at around 3pm if that helps. The manager, Taylor, was very kind and was going around to all of the customers making sure they were happy. He is one of the best managers I have encountered! I highly recommend this location to anyone. Fantastic customer care and some of the best food around. read more

A definitely must go restaurant when you are in the ASU/Phoenix area. Friendly and attentive staff, great ambience and one of the best BBQ's we ever had! They smoke their meats for 21 hours! A flavorful, falling off the bone Bbq! read more

My sons and I have been fans of Bobby Q's since we first visited the one off I-17, but it was about a 45-minute drive away, depending on traffic. Imagine how thrilled I was to know one just opened 15 minutes down the street from me! In a word, the food is amazing. We always get the Q-Rolls to start (two platters) and the cornbread. My eldest son gets the babyback ribs and fries. My youngest son likes to change it up, but he really likes the Southern Fried Chicken. Our favorite sides are the roasted corn and ranch beans. The beans have shreds of beef or pork, and they are to DIE for. My favorite is their 8-oz top sirloin, because to be honest, it's just as good as any higher-priced steak they have. Medium is perfect, and so tender. We always have plenty of leftovers, and always take them home, along with the mini-cinnamon donuts. Always have an after-dinner coffee because wherever they get it, it's a phenomenal roast (and I'm a coffee snob). The wait staff is top-notch and very attentive! The three of us can spend $100 with the appetizers, entrees and a beer each, but it's worth EVERY penny. We will be regulars!! read more

I took my husband to Bobby Q's tonight (October 22nd, 2016) and we thought the food was fantastic and the service was great. I had read reviews where some thought it was good and other's did not. Maybe it depends on what you eat. My husband had the Texas Ribs and I had fried chicken and I can honestly say both were delicious. The Manager came over to see how our food was, the owner checked in with us to make sure our food was good and that we were getting good service. We told them both the food was great and that we were there celebrating my husbands birthday. At the end of our meal they brought him a piece of ice cream cake and I must admit it tasted great even though we didn't eat all of it. You ask why not, because we were too full from our dinner. We will be going back! Thanks for the fantastic evening of great food and wonderful service. read more
