What? Back to Bob Evans again so soon? This is crazy for me to eat at the same place just a week later, but we had money left over on our gift card (this is probably the only place where a $25 gift card can last for 2 meals for a family of 3) I wanted to have the salad special and the man the all you can eat hotcakes. Thinking the outside looks nice and we had such outstanding service in both Grove City and Pickerington, it must be good here. WRONG! Inside kind of dingy, pretty packed (saturday lunch), service was nice but slooow and management sucked! Last week I got the soup/salad/bread special for $2.50 since I only wanted salad, guess it was dumb of me to think I can eat 6 bowls of salad again and only pay $2.50. I was charged 8.99 (dinner price since it was weekend) for tiny little salad bowls (ok, ok I DID eat 6 of them, still...) and no soup. The man was charged an additional $1 for each time he got a topping on his hotcakes, and after the first plate with 4 they only bring you two more and keep you waiting about 20 minutes each time (again, I realize that is the trick so you get tired of waiting not eating) Still we paid $15 for lunch and left full, just not the same ueber great experience as last week, I'll give Bob Evans a break now.... read more

Pretty good. Great food, great service. Waitresses are very nice and helpful (and hot :P ) Its a 10 min wait from when you order to when you get your food which is not bad In a neighborhood that is ghetto its nice to have a place to eat with good service. read more

Always a long wait for them to take your order at Dublin-Granville location even when not busy. Food sits on counter in the kitchen for extended time before it's brought over to you, so hot foods are lukewarm when you get them. Food is good, but needs much improvement in service. read more

If you want a bob evans you will want to find another bob evans. SLOW slow slow slow. And don't ask for special orders or alterations because you ain't. gonna. get. it. Dirty? Kind of. For 2 people you could be there all morning.. we watched our lowly plates sitting on the pickup counter for a full 5 minutes with no more than 4 other tables full. And getting there isn't easy. you have to go either through Giant Eagle or turn on Bush Blvd and make your way back, which is not fun. and not worth it to go to that Bob Evans read more

It was my first time trying out Bob Evans. I requested for an item that I've been craving for but it wasn't listed on the menu, eggs benadict. I was surprised, it was one of the best I had in a long time. Perfectly poached eggs smothered in a rich anf creamy hollandaise. Although I did felt sorry for our server, who had to put up with some unruly customers causing a comotion in hopes they can a free meal. Overall it was a good experience. read more

Unbelievable how management at this location treats their employees. I've watched a manager literally cuss a waitress out right on the line. And on so many other occasions treat employees terrible. I don't think corporate even cares ,when i called to report them they was rude to me! The people who run this company are terrible. Very sad what this place is becoming. My sister and I took my grandson (a busy 23 month old). The lobby was filled with waiting customers. I could see several empty tables, some that needed cleaning. The girl at the podium said the wait would be 20 mins. I asked if they were short staffed and she said they weren't. I pointed out several empty tables and waiting customers, then asked for the manager. He was actually on the grill cooking (sounds like short staffed). He came over and said that he apologized for the long wait and he took full responsibility for it. He said 20 minutes wasn't accurate, but more like 12 and a half. Next thing I know the girl at the podium and another girl who had kind of been standing around the podium were starting to get the tables cleaned and guests into them. While waiting, I saw people come and just leave. Empty tables in the front and a full waiting lobby is not good for business. The food was good but took a while to get there. I asked the waitress if she could bring the fruit bowl I ordered right away, I wanted to give it to my grandson while we waited. She said she would try. She brought it with the meal. Going forward I will consider that when taking a child that may get fussy and fidgety while waiting to eat. A hungry toddler could care less about scribbling on a menu. When they first opened it seemed the service was better but the past few times it has been lacking. I think if they closed for a day for SERIOUS retraining they will be better. If they don't correct the issues they will just be plagued with more not so good reviews. read more

Me and my girlfriend were very excited to come in to Bob Evans as it was just opening and my mom was raving about the service. We walked in and we went up to the podium where people would wait on you, and one of the waiters said hi didn't even make eye contact with us. Business was slow at 5:10PM there had to be at least 5 employees right there. Some lady came by to pick up two menus and I'm not even sure if what she said was English, but we followed and sat down at the table anyway. We were NOT greeted by a server the entire time we were sitting we had her meals picked out and our drinks for over five minutes. We decided at that point get out of the booth and to eat somewhere else, and it was a bad enough experience for me to write my first yelp review. ALSO as we were leaving all 6 employees watched us walk out without a word. Mind you business was maybe 6 tables deep. read more

Walked inside at 8 PM on a Tuesday, no signs stating anything else otherwise. Hear somebody over the counter "oh we're closed." No wonder this place is failing if its not even open during normal times. Walked out and was glad I did. read more

Went for dinner, it literally took ten minutes before a staff member acknowledged us enough to seat us. The restaurant was completely not busy. Once seated by the manager of all people, we waited at least twenty minutes and still hadn't been approached by anyone to take a drink order or anything. Needless to say we walked out. Terrible service. The morning shift manager never greets her customers. The sad part is, is that she doesn't even hold her servers accountable for greeting or hosting the customers. I've waited at the carry out station over 10min at more than 2 occasions now all while watching the host stand get flooded. If I could give this Bob Evans zero stars, I would. It took ten minutes for the seating hostess to acknowledge the line of people waiting and even then, she only wrote our names down after another customer suggested it. It took more than 30 minutes to receive our food and our orders were incorrect with tiny portions. The ONLY saving grace was the positive attitude and cheerful disposition of our waitress, although we rarely saw her. read more

Ordered online. Arrived about 5 minutes after when my food was scheduled to be ready for pickup just to be a little safe just in case they were behind. Ended up waiting for 30 minutes on my carry out order I had placed nearly an hour before. Two people came in, ordered on the spot, and got their food before I got my order I had placed in advance online. Also noticed it was taking people forever to be greeted and taken to a table. When we first walked in the host put us next to another family and there were no plexiglass dividers. We asked him to move us, which he did. Maybe because I live in New York social distancing is a really important, but I guess not here. The food....oh boy. My wife asked for extra crispy home-fries, they were pale. Her sausage links and over hard eggs were fine though. My banana nut bread was ridiculous, they gave me a 2cm thick end piece of it. My child's was the worst though. We were told they were out of biscuits, so my child's sausage biscuit gravy became sausage gravy with dinner rolls. The sausage gravy was lukewarm. The sausage patties were overcooked; they were literally black. When I went up to pay the cashier asked how everything was and I gave her some honest feedback. She said "oh I am sorry. It will be better next time. Would you like some biscuits for your trouble?" Which makes no sense because I was told they had no biscuits. I will be finding someplace different tomorrow. read more

Two days in a row have had breakfast here. No complaints. No major issues. Staff did correct the issues we brought up. Love the food and the staff are great and friendly. It can get really busy though. Which tells me people love it there. read more

Very good service. Everyone greeted us with a smile. Food was fresh and delicious. We especially liked the pumpkin bread.

I love Bob Evans but this particular restaurant is my least favorite. Probably 3 out of 10 times does everything go smoothly and it's a pleasurable dining experience. But the other times is beyond incredibly slow (45 minutes for pancakes? come on), the waiters disappear, the food is cold. In fact more times than not we can watch our food being put up on the shelf for pick-up and it just sits there.... and sits. The last time we went It was an hour and our food was not coming out- the waiter actually said "well you should've told me you were in a hurry". Seriously. I make it a point not to go to the Bob's on 161 unless I have no choice. Good you if you've had better experiences.. unfortunately I can't seem to have very many of them here. read more

After my husband's grandfather's funeral, we hadn't really planned a wake, so we decided for the small group of us that were closest to him we would just go to his favorite Bob Evan's by his house. Our waitress (I'm kicking myself for not remembering he name, but she was blonde and had a tattoo on her wrist I believe) went above and beyond. She brought us all kinds of different breads, was very helpful and got us anything we needed, and also made sure to tell us that she was sorry for our loss. The food was also good- the last couple Bob Evan's I'd been to had been terrible, so I'm glad to see they took the time to make sure everything was good quality for us. We really appreciated the extra care yesterday. read more

My wife and I decided to have dinner here on Christmas Eve. It was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. It took 1 1/2 hours to get our food. For 45 minutes of that wait my meal sat in the window under a heat lamp waiting for my wife's meal to be prepared . The carrots that I ordered were still sitting in the window when we left the restaurant. Although this location was just renovated, it seems the management was not. The worst disappointments I have had. I have been a customer at this location for years. read more

My group of 3 waited over an hour to get our food (even though people that arrived after us had already received their meal). Then our server told us someone would come speak to us about the wait- the assistant manager eventually brought our food to us, dropped it off and left. Not an apology, consolation, or anything.
