It's just heavily breaded chicken tenders and strips that aren't like pre marinated to make em juicy that are fried and then sprinkled with spicy seasoning, orange sauce, and the basics from the million of chicken strips places popping up all over Columbus. The seasoning masks the QUALITY of the chicken. Their burgers are decent smashed burgers. Overall it's fine if you're looking for just FOOD, but if you're looking for taste, quality, and execution I suggest elsewhere. read more

We ordered online for The Hague Ave location in Columbus, OH. Come to find out it was a food truck. Which isn't it a bad thing, we love food trucks. Certainly not this one. We ordered the Flamin Waffle Sandwich and two sides of Mac and cheese and got nothing of what we ordered. Getting there to pick up our online order, we said "We have a pick up order" and the guy continues to say "YEAH YEAH YEAH WE'RE OUT OF MAC AND CHEESE" they also didn't have the waffle sandwich, but didn't even tell us he replaced it with just a regular sandwich.... He actually replaced both sides of mac and cheese with another chicken sandwich instead of just refunding me for my order. And it wasn't even good. The line just to order was 7 people deep. I guess that's a good thing. I ordered 2 jalapeño Wagu burgers and a regular Wagu burger from their extensive menu! They also have a catering menu next to their regular menu! I also added regular fries and the spicy fries. They gave me a beeper #16 that will buzz when my food is ready. I took a seat in front of the register. Then things went south. The food was taking soooo long. I kept staring at the cooks, salivating, checking the time, checking my beeper, patience sure is a virtue! A few people got their food and let me tell you, it looked amazing! About 20 mns. Later...a gentleman asked me for my ticket number. He waved me up front and said my food had been ready for 10 mns. I guess the beeper was not working. No apologies given...customers service not on point. Well, that needs to be fixed: beeper and service. I went home and devoured my burger with my family. It was so good even cold. The burger had a very thin black burnt patty sticking out of the large bun. It was One of the best burgers around next to Five guys. I air-fried my soggy fries. Not too bad. They both tasted good. I liked the oil they were fried in! I found 2 $10 off coupon in the bag,not sure if they snuck it in after they forgot about me or everyone gets them; but it put a bandaid on my wound. I think due to TikTok, my expectations was way too high? This wasn't really as impressive as shown. It's decent, but with huge trade offs. First off, we ordered and got our receipt at 11:57 am. Only 4 tables taken up and they already were eating. We didn't get the buzzer notification it's ready until 12:19 for 1 chicken sandwich, 1 chicken waffle and 2 fries. Secondly, the table cleaner. He was very rude. We picked one out and cut between my wife and I without saying excuse me and wiped the table and I said thank you, and he ignored me. He later comes up while we're waiting to fill more napkins. I say thank you again and he just continues to ignore me. The most important part, the food. Even though we waited 22 minutes and a family came in after us and got their food so quick made us wonder why it took so long for us, when a family of 4 got their less than 6 minutes. The chicken was delicious with flavor, but their chicken and fries were only warm, not even hot. Taking that long for a meal you'd expect the freshest and hottest, but you only got warm. As mentioned before, all tables had their food already so I wonder what the delay was with us? Last thing that I don't understand is no fountain drinks. New place. Had to give it a try. Fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon. You order at counter they give you a buzzer to let you know your food is done. We were wanting to try their mozz sticks but they said they are still working on them. Not sure what that meant. So as of Sunday they didn't have any. No time was given when they will have them. I ordered the signature Wagyu Burger with fries. Husband ordered the Jalapeño Wagyu Burger with fries and a side of Mac and cheese. They don't have fountain pop it's only cans or glass bottles. Kinda a bummer. But no biggie. Just nice to get refills sometimes. Our food was ready pretty quickly. Everything was hot and fresh! I don't know about their chicken but this burger is to die for!! Oh! And I made it a double too. The edges are nice and crisp and the center still juicy. The flavor was wonderful! The sauces came on the side. They were flavorful and went very well with the burger. My husband was happy with his too but a little spicy from a guy who likes spice. Lol. The fries were nice and crisp and Mac and cheese was good too. We are going back. After seeing videos of the food here on social media, I knew I had to come give it a try. Not only was the food affordable (about $14 per meal), but it was absolutely delicious. I was truly blown away by the portions and the flavor. I do not like spicy food, so I got the flamin loaded mac and fries with naked (no spice) chicken. My husband got the tender meal at medium heat. He isn't a huge fan of dipping sauce usually, but he LOVED their signature dipping sauce. It was nice and smoky. The sauce on top of my mac was tangy and a bit spicy, kinda buffalo-esque. We didn't have to wait too long for our food, and it was piping hot. I am beyond impressed with this restaurant. There were a few open tables we were able to choose from, and it wasn't super loud inside either. We both loved what we ordered, and my husband is already asking to go back! I really wanted to like this place after seeing all of the influencer videos on other restaurants of the same franchise. Unfortunately, I really have to give it an honest review. Went in the other night with my wife and son. Was excited to give it a try as the pictures and videos look so good. I ordered the mac & cheese with chicken tenders on top, tried a Smashburger, a chicken tender sandwich and then ordered a bunch of their fries. The Smashburger was pretty decent but honestly for $10 I've had better. Usually smash burgers are thin and crispy, but there was not. French fries were pretty darn good however. I was most excited for the mac & cheese with chicken tenders. Two things I noticed right away was that it seemed like there was a lot of crispy batter which I really love but honestly, I was really looking for some protein that was in decent proportion to the batter. The worst thing was that the mac & cheese underneath wasn't even warm. It seemed like they were putting on a pre-done mac & cheese that hadn't been fully brought up to temperature. I really think that could be a health code violation of some type. If someone were to take a thermometer and put it into their mac & cheese, it would've failed miserably. for my presentation standpoint however it definitely looked good but really failed on the temperature and taste. It seems like they're newer, so maybe I'll wait a few months and give it a try again as I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, the guy who is busing tables who was an older gentleman, was kind of rude to my wife when we were clearing our table and taking it to the trashcan any kind of shoed us away because he wanted to do it and he wasn't happy about it. He is also mopping the floor of the entire restaurant in the middle of what seemed like a dinner rush and there wasn't anything dirty on the floor. I think these are just small, emotional intelligence things when you run a restaurant and expect high volume. The food was so good and fresh! We tried the tacos, chicken sandwich, tenders and the burger! My son also got the fruity pebble milkshake and he loved it. Food only took about 20 minutes to come out. It's enough space inside where you can eat in or take it to go. We ate in and it was nice and chill. They DONT have a soda machine though. Which is a downside to someone like me who goes though water quickly! You just purchase bottled water or canned sodas. read more

This was disgusting. Catfish! The macaroni and cheese was undercooked, I could taste every single spec of the condiments used (mixed in poorly). Customer service was awful. When I was trying to use to men's restroom I believe I saw a rodent in the janitor's room. Take out orders come out before dine-in orders too, we waited about 25-30 minutes for our food. It was SO expensive! The macaroni and cheese tasted store bought and tasted like it had been reheated up to serve. I left gagging and threw away the food, $40 down the drain. So disappointed, looked better online, should've be kept as a concept. Portions were HUMILIATING small. At this point just go to KFC, the chicken tastes exactly like that. When I asked about the milkshake, the man in the front argued with me, saying I DIDN'T ORDER A MILKSHAKE, I in fact did. Then denied me my other drinks I ordered.
