Food was OK, nothing too exciting and service is ok too. So I would go there only when there is a coupon to use.

This location on Morse Rd is always a great experience.. Food is always fresh and tastes great. Customer service is also pretty dam amazing. Store Is clean. They always get our order correct and we get the Philly cheesesteak 1 no tomato No pickle and 1 no peppers no mayo no pickle. This location is the best.. I read that the owner of Charley's (and Bibibop) is a local, and graduated from OSU shortly before me. We've been to other locations anyway, but when I saw one nearby I made a special effort to support one of our local businesses. The menu is odd. Small, lots of chicken sandwiches and wings for what I think of as a cheesesteak place. Service was odd- not sure if the guy was new, or half-asleep. Friendly, but ditzy. Anyway, got my order in, waited a few minutes, and left to take lunch home to Sweetie and Baby K. She had a cheesesteak and liked it. I had a teriyaki chicken sandwich and Thai chili wings. The accompanying fries were forgettable. But the sandwich was pretty darn good: tender, tasty chicken on good bread with fresh veggies. And the wings were very good: plump, perfectly cooked, with plenty of flavor (note- the Thai chili was not as spicy as I'd hoped, but they have lots of options all over the heat scale.) It was a good meal, and I'll be back for more wings and subs, and to try some of the sides. A little expensive for what you get, but not ridiculous. read more

I've been here twice in the past six months or so. The first time I stopped and tried their boneless wings which I think was a test item as I didn't see it on my most recent visit. The wings were lips puckering, nose running, wonderfully good. I was a little worried when the server double-checked to make sure I didn't want any ranch dressing but it wasn't too much to handle. On the most recent visit I got the chicken fingers and fries (not a big coleslaw fan here) which came with texas toast. Pretty standard items if you've had Zaxby's or Raising Cane's. The texas toast was crispy on both sides without being burnt which I liked. I got the buffalo sauce which included Texas Pete's in it. If you like tvs with your meal, there is at least one (maybe three in total) with sporting events on them. read more

This is my second time at this location. First time tasting their chicken fingers. First there subs are still great like other locations however this location serves a limited selection of subs, small, regular size, and only one size drink. Chicken fingers are made to order hand tossed freshly prepared. The layout is well done and carry sport material of local school and Ohio teams. First visit was very clean but this second time service is slow and tables noticeably needed clean. Most employees working hard to catch up but one is slacking. They don't have napkins at each table like other Charley's. I tasted their Chicken fingers with sweet Tai Chili sauce. Very good, light flavor of chicken and sauce for me has the right amount of heat and sweetness. I always get chicken teriyaki sub and it never disappoints. I was running errands at Graceland before this past snowstorm and figured I'd pop in as I hadn't visited this fairly new restaurant since this location had been an Applebee's. I assume people come here for the cheesesteaks because if you want chicken fingers, Hot Chicken Takeover is less than a mile south on High Street from here. Because I lived in Philadelphia for 10 years before I moved here to Columbus, I always get a kick out of interpretations of a "Philly Cheesesteak" when I am other places in the world. I walked in and was kind of baffled by the menu to be honest. The first half of cheesesteak offerings listed were all chicken. Then they had all these fancy beef cheesesteaks with sauces and pepperonis and bacon etc. I just wanted a simple cheesesteak so I finally found the "Philly Cheesesteak" on the menu and ordered a regular-sized (they have small and large options too) It came with sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms + White American. I hate American so I substituted provolone for my cheese. All sandwiches come with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayo which I personally like but isn't typical on a classic cheesesteak. I also ordered a side of fries and my bill was $10. Eh. I was not impressed. There was nothing special or exciting about this sandwich and it was kind of pricey in my opinion for what I got. The meat seemed like a meager portion and wasn't flavorful. The cashier did hand me a punch card: Buy 7, get your 8th cheesesteak free. First timer coming here for a Classic Cheesesteak, wasn't expecting trumpets and horns sounding upon my entrance. But was pleasantly surprised overall with this place. Food seemed fresh and lightning fast to my table (yes the server actually delivered my meal). Love the use of real American cheese vs. provolone that lots of places use. Being from the east coast that made me feel at home. I agree with other reviewers that lettuce, tomato and pickles don't belong on a cheesesteak so asked for those to be omitted. Fries were great, as was the bottomless lemonade. Only gripe that removed one star is it was a little pricey, $10 for a small combo. This use to be a good Charleys ! Close to home & everything!! The menu was normal & had green peppers & mushrooms also onions & banana peppers.. now all they have for the toppings are only onions & jalapeños maybe more. Which sucks, they have no more jalapeño ranch.. etc. Not for sure why they took these toppings/sauces away. Now I have to travel to Polaris just to get a regular sandwich with everything I want on it. Smh... The location is great. They just got rid of everything almost. read more

Ok first order carry out, I was told 15 to 20 min got there roughly around that time and waited 45 min more. I was given free coupons for two 4 piece chicken meals. A bad first impression. So silly me I went to redeem them and after waiting in a long line we get to the register my Four year old says " go potty" I quickly hand them over and say two 4 piece meals here is the coupon my son has to go potty my name is tony. I come back to a long line and say from the side of another customer hey sorry we are just gonna sit down ok? Nope she has me wait in line at the back because she needs to know what sauce I want and you want your receipt right? I could have just told you the sauce right then Tiffany G when I asked if we could sit down. My son has a medical condition your not making it easy. Well after sitting in the parking lot reading the reviews on Yelp, I literally almost changed my mind and went elsewhere. It was raining and I just didn't know if it would be worth getting wet for some sub par chicken fingers. However, as I'm about to say, let's go elsewhere, the carryout parking space opened up and here I am writing this review. Upon arrival a very friendly girl named Kayle greeted us and took the order. The fingers and fries were made fresh while we waited for the order to go. Now, I will say that I've never been a huge Cane's fan - just my personal opinion, the fingers are just not crispy enough for me. Charley's chicken has really good crispy breading. Not too much, and not too little. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. They were really good! I got the sweet thai chili dipping sauce which was good too. The coleslaw and Texas toast was surprisingly very good. The fries are nothing special but not bad in any way. Rain or shine, we will return! read more

I rarely leave reviews, and I always contact the restaurant and give them an opportunity to fix the issues first- however my husband tried contacting Charleys and we have yet to receive any word back (over 24 hours later). This place is somewhat new to our area and we've been meaning to give it a try since it opened, decided last night would be the perfect time. Boy what a mistake. I went in a little after 7pm to place an order to go- we had received a coupon for buy one 4 finger meal get one 4 finger meal free so I used that and then purchased and additional two small Philly Cheese Steaks, thinking it'd be more than enough food to feed a 4 and 6 year old along with 2 adults. Wrong. Tiffany G was who took my order- she was very unfriendly, pretty rude actually and almost seemed irritated that she had to walk over and help us, first turn off about the place. While I waited for our food the remaining staff seemed more worried about their conversation than actually preparing the food (even using words that my 4 year old shouldn't have heard). We waited about 10 minutes for the food, once it was done a different female employee placed all 4 boxes in the same bag. The 4 boxes filled the bag to the top and made the handle very hard to use and the bag hard to carry (add 2 drinks and a small child into the mix and it's a wonder I didn't drop anything on the way to the car). Like the previous reviewer stated- this place is not accommodating for those with children if it's accommodating to anyone at all. Moving on to the food. Once I returned home the real disappointment set it. I opened the cheese steak boxes to find maybe 5 small pieces of meat along with very little cheese and vegetables haphazardly thrown in the middle of the buns (so there was no meat or cheese at either end of the sandwiches). It was ice cold (we only had a 5 minute drive home with the heat- food still should have been at least warm). I realize I ordered the small, but I was under the impression judging by the pictures in store and online that there would be more substance to the sandwich- for $5 for just a sandwich I don't think I got my money's worth on either one of them. Definitely not what I was expecting from a place that claims to have "The best Philly Cheese Steak around". Moving on to the chicken fingers- they gave us an additional finger in each box which was nice, but they were very tiny! The chicken was dry and tough and not very flavorful. We received only a few fries per box and the cole slaw didn't fill the cup (not even halfway)- plus it was the one part of the meal that was warm! The sauces were decent, but that's not enough to make me return. Unless the staff and food quality changes I don't see us returning. I'm actually surprised at the lack of reviews positive/negative. The fact that there is only one other negative review makes me feel better knowing it's not just us who had a bad experience! read more
