All around good sub shop and I'd recommend trying out. Many absolutely love Jersey Mike's and it's easy to see why. Fresh, high quality ingredients provide solid subs and I've never really had a bad experience at JM. Service at this location has always been good and orders/food consistent. Generally speaking, the thing that keeps me from giving them a 4* is the amount of meat you get. You see many reviews mention they essentially got served a "lettuce sub". I wouldn't go that far but when you look at the pictures of their subs on ads it's more meat than you get when you request "extra meat". As you can see I ordered a "Giant" sub (#3) and it was huge and quite good but that is also with extra cheese and added bacon and still looks small compared to the ads (as far as toppings). We went there today and will continue to go to JM's occasionally in the future so this isn't a negative review. Ingredients and food is light years better than a subway, but also more expensive. For lunch I got the Club Mini on whole wheat. For my $6.15, I got this small 6 to 7 bit lettuce sandwich. It was supposed to be roast beef, Turkey, provolone, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. As you can see there isn't much to it. It's more like a oversized slider then a sub. I could have got more for my money at Subway. Plus, the children that were the wait staff act like I was wasting their time because I was taking my time reading the menu. Needless to say, I won't waste my money there again. The one guy with glasses and a blank stare is terrible he has no sense of just putting on a face to the customer to look like he remotely likes his job and making the experience very awkward as well as giving us bad bread. My partner went to get us our usual order, an Italian Mike's way no tomato however the first thing I noticed was the dry burnt bread when my partner brought it home we take bites and it's literally so hard I felt like I had to pull as hard as I could to get a bite. Absolutely terrible and then my partner told me about how there's mold in their ice machine because they got a tea but didn't dare go for ice because of this disgusting. They remade my sandwich but still with the same ugly attitude of I don't care to be here, and it seemed like he already knew that it was the white bread that was bad I wanted to give a piece of my mind since we always come to this location as it's close by to our home and we always get this manager who I wouldn't have guessed he would be the manager but I'll be speaking to his boss at some point to let them know. Dealing with guy was the last straw for us coming here ever again and I will gladly go find a location with better employees. We just bought 3 large subs to share at our friends' OSU/Michigan party yesterday. The subs were almost as popular as the trouncing over the maize & blue. We selected the "Original Italian", the "Albacore Tuna Fish" and the "Turkey Breast". All three were prepared "Mike's Way" which includes: lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar and Mike's secret spices. My wife says that there is no better tuna sub in all of Ohio. I have to agree with her even though I'm a huge turkey sub fan myself. We are extremely picky about our mayonnaise too. I'm not sure where Mike gets his mayonnaise, but it is truly mouthwatering! Mmmmm! Mike's has at least 10 cold subs, 6 hot subs, 6 wraps and 5 salads to choose from, so you won't be disappointed. There's something for everyone. Accoutrement's like chips and beverages are available as well. I recommend the wheat bread - my standard. It's not easy to find in good sub shops. All of our friends at the OSU/Michigan party raved over the full flavor and freshness of Mike's subs. It truly was a crowning achievement to a wonderful day of football. All we were missing were the warm, sandy beaches and ocean breezes of Point Pleasant. There's nothing like the Shore and there's nothing like Jersey Mike's Subs. Eat up! read more

Even with only 1 person in front of me it usually takes a full 15 minutes from when I get in line to complete my order. The staff is mostly teenagers who are too busy talking to each other and visiting with friends to provide prompt or attentive service. Do not come here if you are in a rush (such as on lunch break). * Updating to confirm that the owner is indeed weird and rude as stated in the other reviews. Seems like he's high most of the time. I felt very uncomfortable while he was ringing me out. It's clear that he takes no pride in his business or customer service. I had high expectations of this place, but I guess my expectations were too high. I was expecting something more like Jimmy John's. My wife and I stopped here in the Spring on a Saturday for lunch. I am sick of Subway and she doesn't like Jimmy John's, so here we were, trying out a new (to us) sandwich joint. We are both vegetarian, so one could argue that severely limits our options at a sandwich place. There just wasn't much about this sandwich that I LOVED. It tasted "fine" and I would be happy to eat it if it was handed to me. But I wouldn't seek it out. The staff was friendly and helpful - I asked lots of questions since I had never been there and every sandwich shop seems to have a certain protocol on how they handle ordering. I've driven by it since and I have to say, I haven't had a craving to go back here yet. I think I'll stick with Jimmy John's. We stopped here to pick up sandwiches for a flight out of Columbus (since airlines don't feed you anymore). Our sandwiches were good---not extraordinary---but what was amazing was the service. The lady who waited on us was just the nicest, sweetest thing in the world. We just chatted like old friends while she built our sandwiches. And when we unpacked our sandwiches mid-flight, we found she had written on the wrappers: "Have a good trip home" . It just totally made us smile and warmed our hearts. We love the beauty and warmth of Arizona, but we miss the hearts and souls of the Ohio people. This lady totally reminded us of how special the folks of our old home-state are. My husband loves this place so I am forced to go.. I had a strange experience a couple weeks back. I went in on a Saturday afternoon with a coupon and ordered 2 subs .. One of which had to be prepared on the grill.. A man who I presumed to be the owner appeared to be very annoyed by either my coupon or my request for a sub he actually had to cook on the grill. He actually seemed to toss a rag on the floor to show his displeasure. It was very uncomfortable. The establishment itself was relatively clean, the sandwiches we ordered tasted fresh and were made to our order request, and the two young ladies that helped us were pleasant and did their jobs well. The incident that prompted me to write this review was when the older man working behind the counter -I presumed from his manner that he was either the owner of that particular Jersey Mike's, or a manager- treated a young woman who was slightly hearing impaired as if she were an inconvenience because she was having a little difficulty making herself understood. The owner and young lady who had helped us were trying to figure out if the woman said 'tuna' or 'Italian.' The young woman spoke up and tried to enunciate, which both the owner and young lady took as being yelled at; even though the woman wasn't yelling at all, and to anyone with just a bit of awareness would have noticed her soft voice and pronunciation were typical of a person that cannot hear themselves as well as others. If all you want is a quick sandwich and to be on your way, this Jersey Mike's is fine. Just don't expect everyone at this location to be astute or considerate. read more
