I've been wondering about this place since it's been open it originally was going to be a Mr hero looks like but it became John Smith's subs, so I avoided it for a while I went in I was surprised that I had a cozy atmosphere. Many places design and location for you be in and out but this location makes you want to feel at home. Not a whole lot of people working here. My very friendly staffI wanted to get a sandwich similar to a Roman Burger and it looks like they were willing to make it for me I can't wait to try it next time. I went during lunch time and had to wait close to 30 mins for my sandwich! Why? Because they had ONE guy working the front register, drive thru, and cooking. Unsure what's going on with staffing at this place but lunch time should be considered peak times and they should've got dude some more help. Sub was decent and a fraction of the price compared to Wario's or Buck City Sammies. Solid sandwich. Dude cooks it up and drops fresh fries etc so you can't be mad at that but geez they're slow. This location was so dirty that we chose to throw our food away and not risk getting sick. As a long time fan of Jon Smith from Florida, this location is an abomination and not representative of the brand. We arrived 15 minutes after opening to an empty restaurant. One young lady running the restaurant completely by herself. I should have asked for a refund when we looked at the soda machine. The sandwiches are normally huge. These portion left much to be desired and looked nothing like the marketing pictures posted in the restaurant. Or indicative of the regular food you get from Jon Smith. The drink machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Most the sodas were out of order or out of syrup. The was a hair stuck to and wrapped around the nozzle of the orange soda. Tables were dirty I guess from the night before. Floors had not been properly swept or moped and trash can had been left full from the evening before. If this is the way they maintain the public area, leads one to wonder what it looks like behind the counter and in the kitchen. The owners of this place should be ashamed of themselves. They are completely absent from this location and it shows. We threw our food out and went elsewhere. Not worth the risk of getting sick. read more

My wife and I dropped by to try this place out because, as you all know, I love a good sub sandwich. They did not disappoint. I had the Chicken Marinated Bomb and became an instant fan. Like they say in commercials, it was "grilled to perfection", topped with fresh vegetables, tasty, firm bread, savory flavor and wonderful aftertaste that you hate to drink behind for fear of losing it. The fries were a heaping helping, cooked just right as well. I love them crispy and salted so well that ketchup isn't needed. And it wasn't, but I added it anyway because I love my ketchup. The owner was very kind and the staff seemed energetic and generally happy to serve. That always helps. Survey says... (DING!) Try it! It's worth the trip. Decided to run out to Jon Smith Subs this afternoon. Ordered the Steak Bomb. It's a grilled chopped sirloin steak, grilled onions, peppers , mushrooms, bacon , tomatoes, provolone cheese and mayo. The sub comes on a very soft 6" sub bun similar to an Auddino's sub bun. The steak was very tasty but a little tough. The bacon was not even noticeable if there was any. The rest of the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Could have had a little more meat for the money. Overall a very good tasting sandwich. I will have to try it again for sure. read more

They make some great food fresh to staffs very friendly and helpful atmospheres is great their great for a community

The food quality has gone down but what's worse is the service. More and more there is a lack of concern for the customer. Driving here on my lunch break to pick up my order only to find they never made it because they were out of what I ordered while still letting me pay was my last straw. First time here and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious my sandwich was! I ordered the 6" Kielbasa bomb on a toasted sub bun. The kielbasa was cut into many slices and the toppings were all grilled! The sandwich was delicious and a good value for the generous amount of kielbasa that was on it! This may be my new favorite sub spot. I ordered The Gator and I was definitely impressed. This location was originally going to be a Mr. Hero and I am glad that they went with Jon Smith Subs instead. The inside was very clean and the staff was very friendly. One of the young ladies advised me that they take pride in giving the customer fresh fries. The cookies were very big and looked a little suspect, so I didn't get one. But based on my experience with the meaty Gator sub, I think I will give them a try on my next trip. Came here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, but enough people were coming in and out. Esayas, the owner, gave us a breakdown of the store and menu. They offer subs and salad bowls along with fries and Coca Cola based drinks. We ordered the steak bomb and Italian sub along with fries. It was a hefty sub and lots of fries let me tell you that! Everything is made and cut in house and fresh ingredients only. It did take about 15 min to get our subs so if you're on a time crunch, just be careful. Went through the drive through Sunday afternoon since I was in the area and heard good things. I went with the steak bomb and small fries. I waited at the drive thru for quite a bit but honestly I think there might have only been one person working. The food was pretty hot still though! The sandwich was soooo good. Bread was super soft and loaded with toppings. The fries were thin and crispy similar to McDonald's. Overall I'd definitely come back to try the rest of their menu. It's a no for me dog. Went to the drive-thru, sat at the speaker for several minutes, said hello, no one replied. Ok...so came in. Two people working on sandwiches in the back never acknowledged me. Finally the cashier came back from break and took my order. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Fries were extremely salty, frozen shoe strings. Not quite understanding the reviews. Restaurant wasn't in the best shape. The sub was horribly dry and I added a sauce. The bread is soft but flavorless. There was really nothing enjoyable about it. I wanted to try something new today. I was on the hunt to find a good ole fashion phillycheese steak sub. I saw Jon Smith Subs a few times online and I saw nothing but good reviews. I went through the drive through ordered my food and took it home and smashed it ! Best Sub I've had in a long time. I wish I would have got extra mayo and banana peppers. But the bun was toasted to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy the fries were good. The sandwich was simply amazing . Great carry out lunch option with fantastic subs! Purchased two Steak "Bombs" and was pleasantly surprised with how good they were. In fact, I would say that they were AWEsome! What differentiates them from other "cheesesteak" subs? The freshness. The bread is similar to that of Jimmy John's with its soft inside and lightly baked outside. The steak seems super fresh and not greasy at all. Between the toppings, bread and fresh steak, this definitely offers a good lunch sub option. The string fries are great too with a light fried taste with a soft crunch. I purchased these via the drive thru, but I would recommend doing carry out. The space is tight quarters for larger vehicles and you'll still have to wait a little longer due to the freshness they aim for (ie they stated that it would be 8 mins once I made my order). The gentlemen who served me was super nice and gave me background of the location. It can be a bit pricey since fries and drinks are sold separate, but comparable to combos of other like-kind sub places. I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot. The gator is an amazing sandwich. Steak, chicken, sausage and bacon drenched in sauce and topped with cheese and grilled onions. This new sub shop offers six inch and footling sizes. The interior was pristine. I was excited to see they sell Ethiopian bags of coffee as well. It looked like a premium blend. Going downhill fast..... Ordered the Authentic Italian sub tonite thinking it would be a hot sub. No. Ordered thru door dash, said no pickle, extra for bacon $1.25, extra Provolone cheese $1.25. Sandwich was cold cuts with half a head of shredded lettuce, pickles, no banana peppers and the bacon was ridiculous. I tried to like this place, the first Sandwich I got there was great. Ordered it again not too long ago and it was not good, so I thought I'd try again. Sorry, this is the Last time, if you don't pay attention to what customers want and don't want on their sandwiches, then why bother to custom order? So I ordered my sub and did not want onions on it what so ever and I made sure to check the box for NO ONIONS and they still added it not only did they add it the bread was soggy. Also, the chicken wasn't cooked thoroughly. Wouldn't suggest eating here again? They also didn't have any bottled pop as I ordered online so no big selection on that read more

The service was pretty slow, I don't understand why they have a drive thru. The Cuban was okay, a little dry and the bread didn't stand up to the rest of the sandwich. Fries were underseasoned. After finishing my meal I wished I had gone somewhere else. read more
