Good flavor, great price. The small sandwich from Charleys is under $6, and the day we went they were running a special where you could get it with fries for $6. I got the Italian deluxe: Grilled Turkey, Ham, Pepperoni, All-Natural Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo & Pickles. They even use Italian seasonings in the sandwich that take it up a notch. I'm picky about fries, and these were ok. My daughter enjoyed her chicken finger kid's meal. Charley's has a number of sandwich options but I went with the Philly Cheesesteak both times... You can order a 6 9 or 12 inch.. sandwich comes with onion tomato lettuce provolone/white American and banana peppers... on both trips my sandwich was very good and recommend it if you like Philly Cheese Steak... fries were ok, not great but average... service sometimes can be slow depending when you visit(peak lunch & dinner can be crowded)...condiments such as ketchup, mayo, mustard can be added to any of the subs... do yourself a favor and get a philly cheese from Charley's, I think you will enjoy it .. read more

Every time we have been to this location, it's been a hot mess when it comes to service. The first time we visited, the soda machine was broken and while it wasn't very busy, the staff seemed confused on which orders came in what order and what was getting done. It added anxiety to wondering if your food was going to get to you and made right. The latest time we visited, the orders were all messed up, it was a moderately busy Saturday evening and our food took forever to get. Other customers just grab whatever food is placed up on the 'ready' area and orders start getting mixed up, orders not made right... The mall court location is a lot better and less problems. Oh my goodness my sandwich was great! Having never been there I didn't know what to expect and had some pretty big expectations for them to fulfill. 1. I was in the biggest rush of my life so speed was essential. 2. English speaking attendant vital. 3. I was starving so it had to fill me up. 4. Given my love for Subway it had to impress. Needless to say, Charley's passed all the above criteria and made the most delectable turkey cheddar wrap I have ever had the pleasure of sinking my teeth into. This place is good! The service was fast and the guy was friendly enough. They grill you your sub right up front and center. I sat and waited for mine, but you could literally stand about 2 feet from your food as it is cooked if you wanted to, so no funny business here. The fries are good, but I prefer a thinner cut and more crunch. It's just a matter of your own taste though. My wife would love these fries. I got the philly. I walked in and was greeted by the entire staff. The woman who took my order was friendly and asked my name. From the parking lot looking in, this place looks like the best food place. However once I walked in you could feel the tention. There was trash everywhere. The workers were all in a bad mood. I've been eating at Charley's for years and I've yet to have a bad meal! Now, about how many places can you say that? When I lived in KY I ate at the one in the Ashland Town Center Mall, I have also eaten at the one in Chillicothe, OH. This one is my favorite location. The last time I was here, I was listening to a program on the radio and got carryout and ate in the car. The dining room is really clean and there are TVs inside for those dining in. Even though it was carryout, I felt like I still received the same size portion and the same care was put into making sure my order was attractive and not just thrown together like they do at some places when you get takeout. I recommend the buffalo chicken, chicken cordon bleu with honey mustard, and of course, their Philly steak. The gourmet fries are insane! It's not always on the menu, but they're always happy to make whatever combo I request. My favorite is cheese sauce topped with buffalo sauce and ranch. YUM! read more
