Always love Bob Evans. The food has never been disappointing. It's one of those places you can count on a good meal that taste good. My husband and I made a trip to Columbus and right off our flight we wanted something to eat. So ended up here. I ordered the Mocha and Carmel Cold Brew initially. Thought I would enjoy it. But no. It was not for me. So I exchanged it for her Hot and let me tell you it was perfect. Just enough sweet flavor. I enjoyed it. Forgot to take pics of our food. I had what they call Dinner Bell Plates. A smaller version of the bigger meal. I got the Fried Chicken Tenders with fries and Cole slaw. Oh how I love their Cole slaw. It was really good. The meal itself is good and it's plenty of food that's for sure. My husband got his all time favorite the Original Farmers Choice. He slammed. It was good as usual. Great food. Great place. I went back to Bob's today for breakfast with a friend. I got eggs, sausage patties and biscuits and it was SO GOOD and so reasonable. I couldn't even finish it! I normally go to the Westerville location, today I was closer to 161 location. I ordered the turkey sandwich, which I normally I order at Westerville location, presentation is always eye appealing, tasty, fresh, bread toasted. What I received from the 161 location, turkey sandwich was disgusting, the untoasted or lightly toasted bread with finger prints very visible as you can see in the picture below. Veggies were not fresh. French fries were soggy, not sure why. read more

Second time in as many months. This location is close to church. It's always busy and sometimes seems understaffed. Today there are more workers and no wait. We both got the Rise and Shine with our eggs over-medium. I got sausage links, wheat toast and hashbrowns. He got sausage patties, home fries, biscuits and grits. The food is taking a bit longer this time. The eggs were overcooked but everything else was good. The links were cooked perfectly...yummy. So I have been coming lately numerous of times due to its close to home. Last week's visit was met with staff standing behind the counter cussing like at a night club over someone getting fired. The young assistant manager with dark hair was there and never corrected the behavior. Then today's visit was met with the waitress going outside with another staff member smoking / vaping while having customers. The girl with the braids at the front who seats and checks you out can be at times unpleasant. Today when checking me out and I said Thank you she stared at me and no response. There needs to be a manger present at this location at all times till the behaviors are cleaned up. read more

Had lunch at this Bob Evans today. This restaurant was clean, bright, and great spacing. Friendly service. Had the Turkey melt which is an excellent sandwich. It has great flavor, tasted freshly cooked, and generous with the bacon. Fries seemed fresh as well. Nice to have a lunch that seems like it came from the kitchen, both the warmer. On May 30th around 11:30 am, I went there with my family. At the beginning we asked to be seated in a booth because i have back problems and the receptionist was a little hesitant. She was waiting for the server's approval who was still busy with costumers. Eventually she did seat us. We asked for drinks. My husband asked for coffee, but never got his creamer until 45 mins later because he had to walk up to the server and remind her again for it. Obviously, the coffee was already cold too. We were really disappointed with the service so we decided to leave and told them we'll just pay for the drinks. The server then told us our food was ready and if we wanted it for take out. We said NO. At this point we already lost our appetite. We were just waiting for the cashier to charge us for the drinks but the server said we don't have to pay since we waited that long. I understand there was not much server but being forgotten is not acceptable. read more

I sat down at the front counter and no one greeted me, and as you see in the picture, the table was a hot mess, I asked the manager who was assigned to the front desk, and he said, "You make a good point' and then two other guest came to sit down, and they waited for 8-10 min. This is the Bob Evans that's closest to me. It's only about 2 miles away. The prices are a little high for breakfast but one thing they're not high on is their sausage gravy and biscuits. We frequent this location fairly often since they have food that it is usually quick and easy to pick up when I'm having a bad health day. Outr experiences here are always hit or miss, it's either a good day or a bad day and there doesn't seem to be in between. Today was yet another very bad day. We ordered online for pick up two sandwiches. Pick up time was scheduled for 11:27am. My husband went to pick the order up and paid before that time, he was not handed the food until almost 11:50am. He brought the food home (3-5 minute drive) and the order was a mess. The food was cold and it looked disheveled and as if the person putting the order together had been very confused. His grilled 5 cheese sandwich was completely disheveled and most of the cheese was in the container and not on the bread. He ordered fries with it and they came in a separate container. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, I ordered it with mayo added to it and had mashed potatoes with chicken gravy. The single sandwich was placed in a huge family dinner size container and was missing the mayo. The chicken was barely on the bread as well. The mashed potatoes were in a separate cup and covered with beef gravy. I called the store to report the order issues and wasn't even offered the normal remake option, the manager (valarie) immediately offered to refund us the money. Unfortunately he had to drive back to the store to get the money back. When he went to the store to pick up the refund Valarie did not say a word to him, opened the register and handed him $17. She didn't even offer an apology. This was the last straw for this store with us. We will start using the Westerville location. read more

If you know and love Bob Evans, this is NOT it. The menu may be the same and the food may look the same but run or don't stop while you can. The staff doesn't care, the food is cooked wrong, and refills are non-existent. Four people at our table and every single one of our orders came out wrong. We asked about the missing items and got them with the bill at the end of our meal. The manager was nice enough to remove $5 from our bill. That is more than our waitress will receive in a tip because we had to raise our glasses for refills. The table across from us got cleared but not wiped down and they sat someone at it. Greeted with a smiled and seated immediately! Our server came over quickly and took our drink orders. Our drinks were out within minutes and order for food was taken. I decided to try their chicken and waffles. Oh My Goodness those things are good!!!!!!! Love the splash of green onion and bacon thrown over the plate. Generally we go on "Hungover Sunday". In the last 2 years I've lived in the area it's been several time. Service is 'eh'..sometimes you get a great server or you don't. Like anywhere else. Usually the ones that just flat out are horrible aren't there a couple weeks later. At this particular restaurant a big difference is that you get about 2 refills on ANYTHING you're drinking (water,soda, etc.,) and then then server usually forgets about you. EVERY TIME. Until they bring your check to you. And then they used to push their soup on you. But you're so parched from not having a drink that I'm ready to go. That's annoying!!!! But food is fine. I've been to other Bob's that step it up in turn making them "better". The carry out ladies on Sunday mornings are great. They talk to you and remember you. Personally I love that those ladies are so nice. The same servers have waited on us and have no clue who we are! So for someone who just cashed us out to remember us, makes it worth it. read more

This is crazy for me to eat at the same place just a week later, but we had money left over on our gift card (this is probably the only place where a $25 gift card can last for 2 meals for a family of 3) I wanted to have the salad special and the man the all you can eat hotcakes. Thinking the outside looks nice and we had such outstanding service in both Grove City and Pickerington, it must be good here. WRONG! Inside kind of dingy, pretty packed (saturday lunch), service was nice but slooow and management sucked! Last week I got the soup/salad/bread special for $2.50 since I only wanted salad, guess it was dumb of me to think I can eat 6 bowls of salad again and only pay $2.50. I was charged 8.99 (dinner price since it was weekend) for tiny little salad bowls (ok, ok I DID eat 6 of them, still...) and no soup. The man was charged an additional $1 for each time he got a topping on his hotcakes, and after the first plate with 4 they only bring you two more and keep you waiting about 20 minutes each time (again, I realize that is the trick so you get tired of waiting not eating) Still we paid $15 for lunch and left full, just not the same ueber great experience as last week, I'll give Bob Evans a break now.... read more
