They are super fast getting food out. The food, though priceyish for what appears to be fast food, they have a drive thru, is amazing. This is sit down quality food but with fast service. It really is exceptionally good. Between the four of us we tried The Rancher, chicken parm, tenders, nuggets, fries, tots, chocolate shake and their craft root beer. Came here for a late lunch after my daughter got out from school. I had previously visited the Scottsdale location and enjoyed it and was excited since this one was a better location for me to frequent. I love how customizable the entire menu is and how easy it is to order from their kiosk. I had some tenders and my daughter had the nuggets. We shared some fries and tots between the two of us. Everything came out quick, hot and fresh. I especially love the dipping sauces and the seasoning they put on the tots. It reminds me of bbq lays chips? Not sure exactly but so crave worthy. Stylish fast casual chicken sandwich restaurant in Central Phoenix (7th St & Glendale Ave). The deluxe chicken sandwich was well made and tasty. Fries were hot but likely from frozen (not cut on site). I like the Birdcall sauce which is a spiced up Thousand Island. Two reasons for the 4stars. First, call me old-fashioned, but have a person take my order, not an iPad. Second, this location is experiencing some growing pains in the kitchen. My sandwich came out with my customizations, but they forgot the basic lettuce and tomato. OK, so I've been twice and I'm just reviewing their trademark original sandwich which is this: you know those microwavable chicken fillets, breast fillets that you can buy at supermarket? Put some pickles on that, mayonnaise and you are done. Period.. The bun is good. So that comes about 10 or 11 bucks with tax out the door. Looking at the other sandwiches basically it's just a bunch of sauce and you know bacon cheese on top. I'm sure they're pretty yummy but basically is McDonald's big Mac with chicken instead of beef. I took it too far.... a small bite tasted great, and then about 10 or so chews in the heat smacked me back into reality! The flavor is great. The heat was too much for my toddler buds. They carry Tractor Organic beverages never heard of Tractor before. Well, I'm a fan! We mixed the cherry cream and coconut, and it was delicious!!!! The staff is very friendly! Service is fast! Thick, well breaded, and juicy all natural chicken with the brioche bun and extra pickles; it truly cannot be beat. The selection of sauces can make each meal entirely unique every time you come here. I personally love the birdbq sauce, it's the perfect blend of barbecue and a thick cream based sauce. It really is so good and perfectly balanced. The fries were nothing to write home about but are a great vehicle for any of the many sauces that they have. Mediocre, average food. Fantastic customer service. I participated in the "12 days of Christmas" promo in which they feature a certain entree menu item for $5. This will continue to rotate every 2 days until Xmas day. For their 1st offering, it was their "Rancher" sandwich. I love the setup and concept of the business. Love that you can enjoy zero human interaction. But the employees there will proceed to try to make small talk with you anyways. Just decide, lol. Don't make me order through an app or on your lil in-store kiosk, only to then confront me in person. Doesn't make much sense. The sandwich itself, was very underwhelming. Bread was just crap quality. Chicken was barely premium grade. If I had paid full price for what I got, I'd be upset. The holiday promos made it only somewhat reasonable. This was just a poor experience. Staff was as dry as the food. Restaurant was cute but instagramable spots aren't worth it when you're paying 50$ for 2 mid sandwiches. I love the sandwiches and atmosphere at Birdcall. I have never had a bad experience and the place is clean and cool inside. The customer service is amazing and the product is fantastic. My only complaint is the relentless upselling feature they have on their ordering system. I understand you want to push the most profitable items but 4 upsell opportunities when ordering one sandwich is just offensive. Please stop this practice. I will be back either way but it is super annoying and I have mentioned it to staff members in the past.
