This is most definitely my favorite fast food restaurant. I do not understand why this is not a national chain that is popular everywhere because there isn't much like it. I love the convenience of ordering online and arriving to have it ready on time every time. I tend to order for pickup a little earlier than the standard lunch time (typically 11-11:30), and there is usually a very short wait, nothing to write home about at all. I do know it gets crowded later, but it's easy (for me) to plan around that. They have a bunch of curated salads, but you can also customize everything. There are so many choices that the hardest part is designing the exact salad you want. They are also transparent about their nutrition, and you can easily find all of the nutrition facts on their website, so whether you're tracking calories or macros or you're just curious, it is super easy to figure out. And it is affordable for what it is. For about $10 I can get a huge, healthy lunch that is freshly made. read more

First of all, we usually get salads and I really appreciate the fact that there is a healthy and affordable option right around the corner from our house. We decided today we wanted to try the wraps for the first time. My husband ordered the fajita wrap and Decided he wanted steak so there was a $1.25 uplift for that. He said it was tasty, but some of the steak pieces were a bit chewy. He loved the heat level and it was chock full of fajita type veggies I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and I enjoy the hot sauce and blue cheese mix of dressing. I only have one complaint and that is I had opted out of carrots and they gave me a choice to add something else so I said tomatoes and they basically put whole cherry tomatoes in my wrap, which were kind of impossible to eat . Those really need to be sliced up or use a different kind of tomato, but I'll not make that mistake again! All in all- great option when you want to eat fresh and decently healthy food- I order the dressing on the side to keep it lighter as well. read more

I was the only car in the drive through. I ordered a breakfast burrito. They hand me the bag and immediately I notice they didn't include the salsa. They had asked if I want red or green. The window was closed and they didn't notice me signalling. So I honked my horn to get their attention. Some other person answers the window and I said you forgot my salsa. I've loved Salad and Go from my very first visit a year or two ago. Their menu is simple and healthy so I never feel guilty whenever I get something from here. Their prices are great and for the portion size, you can't complain. This time around, I went to the drive-thru and ordered the Cobb Salad with ranch dressing (instead of blue cheese). The lady over the intercom said, "oohhkayyy." When I got to the window, the guy asked if it was okay if it had blue cheese crumbles on top. I wasn't feeling blue cheese, but I kept quiet to avoid confrontation, plus it seems the salads are pre-made that way. Other than that, this place was quick and the drive-thru was efficient and convenient for me. The salads here are always on point and today's Cobb was no exception. Ugh this was so sad! We order s 8 Caesar salads for a church event and threw away 5 of them! The lettuce was completely rotten. I was trying to stay away from bagged salads for the event and wanted fresh crunchy Salad and Go salads like I'm normally used to. We live in Gilbert and frequent Salad and Go 3 times a week at least. What a disappointment. We got to the event and then realized it which at that point we didn't have time to request replacements. Many people go to Salad and Go for their fresh salads, wraps, and bowls, but it is also a great place for breakfast burritos and bowls as well. I was amazed that for $3.80 you can get delicious breakfast bowls or burritos with fresh and healthy ingredients. I chose the traditional breakfast burrito with fresh eggs, breakfast potatoes, pepper jack cheese, and turkey sausage instead of bacon with a choice of red or green salsa. I gotta say the burrito was thick and packed with healthy goodness. I didn't like the salsa packaging, but the rest was pretty good and a definite bargain at $3.80, and you can feel good about eating it too. read more

Not the most flavorful thing I've ever had, but still filling. I decided to try the Mediterranean burrito this morning, and it was nice and light. I did enjoy the feta cheese on it! This location is next to a Quick trip and major intersection so be sure you don't miss the turn. It can be difficult to exit. The staff is always super friendly. I quit eating fast food junk food years ago. I am thankful to Salad and Go for introducing a new way to me to eat both fast and healthy. I love stopping at a Salad and Go on nights I don't feel like cooking and just want to eat something that is good for me. They promote fresh organic eating and they make it quick. What is great about this place is that the prices are very affordable for healthy eating. In fact, in the past couple years they have lowered their menu prices and increased employee pay. You can get a salad with chicken or tofu for under $7. Salad and Go is also big on being environmental friendly. They have helped by eliminating a bag to put your food in and plastic straws. I am a fan of all of their salads, but lean towards the Jalapeño Ranch as my favorite. I appreciate that they put your salad in a big container so that you can shake up your salad to make sure the dressing is evenly distributed. For breakfast, you can get a breakfast burrito and a cold brew coffee for around $5. Lemonades and cold brew coffee beverages are around $1.50 everyday. The salads were great but the person who took my order may have been new and just didn't register our order when we placed it. When she repeated the order back (we were trying to get 2 salads, a wrap, and 3 lemonades) she added more food. When we corrected it, she removed all the food and gave us a total for just the drinks. When we got to the window, it took two more repeats and two corrected total later to arrive at the destination Ultimately it was right at the end, but I personally wouldn't ever want to work that hard for a salad and a lemonade again. I love that you got an extremely generous portion, fixings, and dressing for $5.75. The Arnold Palmer that I had was so good too! They were fast, friendly, and the line moved so smooth. They ask that you have your money ready prior to pulling up, let them know if silverware is needed, and bring your own bar! The WORST SERVICE I've received from a Salad and Go in 5 YEARS!!!! When I ordered, the employee taking my order sounded annoyed when I wanted to change the protein on my salad. So they already rubbed me the wrong way. I truly believe that if you don't enjoy your job, please do not displace your regret and anger onto the customers. It's not hard to give the same respect that you're given. When I arrived home, I noticed that my salad didn't have a dressing in the bag and my daughter's kids salad barely had any salad in the container. For the cost of $3, it would have been more cost efficient to buy a bag of iceberg lettuce from Safeway. I called the location to remedy the situation and informed the manager that I would not be able to return to the location till the next day since I live 5 miles away. I asked if I could have my salad remade when I come in the following day since I'm not going to eat a dry salad and expend my own resources and time for their mistake. She said verbatim that she wouldn't remake a salad over a dressing despite my inconvenience. She did agree to redo the kid's salad, so at least there's that, right? Overall, this place will never get another dime of my money. If you want a salad, go to another location. At least, you'll get more salad and your dressing along with an ounce of respect. read more
