Cobb Salad with Chicken
Joy J.

I've loved Salad and Go from my very first visit a year or two ago. Their menu is simple and healthy so I never feel guilty whenever I get something from here. Their prices are great and for the portion size, you can't complain. This time around, I went to the drive-thru and ordered the Cobb Salad with ranch dressing (instead of blue cheese). The lady over the intercom said, "oohhkayyy." When I got to the window, the guy asked if it was okay if it had blue cheese crumbles on top. I wasn't feeling blue cheese, but I kept quiet to avoid confrontation, plus it seems the salads are pre-made that way. Other than that, this place was quick and the drive-thru was efficient and convenient for me. The salads here are always on point and today's Cobb was no exception. I also like their flavored lemonades, but resisted temptation today, lol.

Ugh this was so sad! We order s 8 Caesar salads for a church event and threw away 5 of them! The lettuce was completely rotten. I was trying to stay away from bagged salads for the event and wanted fresh crunchy Salad and Go salads like I'm normally used to. We live in Gilbert and frequent Salad and Go 3 times a week at least. What a disappointment. We got to the event and then realized it which at that point we didn't have time to request replacements. I will not be going back to this location.

,Breakfast burritos for $3.80

Many people go to Salad and Go for their fresh salads, wraps, and bowls, but it is also a great place for breakfast burritos and bowls as well. I was amazed that for $3.80 you can get delicious breakfast bowls or burritos with fresh and healthy ingredients. I chose the traditional breakfast burrito with fresh eggs, breakfast potatoes, pepper jack cheese, and turkey sausage instead of bacon with a choice of red or green salsa. I gotta say the burrito was thick and packed with healthy goodness. I didn't like the salsa packaging, but the rest was pretty good and a definite bargain at $3.80, and you can feel good about eating it too.

Made to order .... With love ... :)

Food is delivered fast, within about 5-10 minutes after ordering at the counter. Staff here is friendly, patient and helpful when someone who can't decide between all of the options is in front of them. :) I ordered "the rebel" French dip and loved every bite of it. I especially loved the little side salad that came with it that I wasn't expecting. The French dip itself was savory, tender, flavorful and the horseradish added the perfect "kick" to the wrap. I'd definitely order it again but there were also so many other things that I'd try on the menu! I'll stop back every time I'm in Arizona because it's worth the trip to try everything that looks so yummy!

Naturals tones with pops of green make this a delightful place to meet up with your friends. I had the tuna poke bowl. The flavors were super bright and hit all the classic notes of poke. I thoroughly enjoyed the passion fruit black tea, unsweetened of course. I'm not one for overly flavored drinks but they crushed it. I went back for seconds. I'm actually sad I found this on the last day in town, not my first.

The brown rice was fluffy, the sweet potatoes had that perfect little char, and the avocado tied everything together. What I really liked was how efficient everything felt. You can place your order at the kiosk inside or send it in ahead of time through the website, which is a huge win when your day is packed and timing matters. The line moved quickly without the food feeling rushed. Clean space, friendly crew, and portions that make sense whether you just finished a workout or you need something solid to power through the rest of the day. If you're anywhere near Thomas Road and want something high protein that still tastes legit, this spot is an easy yes. I'll be back.

It was an amazing value for the money and the chicken was tender, spinach was crisp...I was impressed! Tonight I stopped by and decided to try the prime beef bowl with the cilantro dressing. I was delighted with the value, serving size and quality of the meat and ingredients. The "slop bowl" is a strong concept these days -- a jumble of veggies, fillers like quinoa or rice, and protein. Pleased to report that Angie's stands apart from the crowded field, distinguished by flavor and quality. Worth noting: you place orders on the kiosk and can customize. There are quesadillas, bowls, plates and more from which to choose. Because you do the order selection and input, the staff can focus entirely on assembling and delivering the orders. Efficient, orderly, but without the pleasure of a great server-customer interaction. That said, the value is unmatched.

UPDATE - Taco Guild is truly a GEM!…read more The bartending technique here is better than most upscale steakhouses in Phoenix. The cocktails are not cheap, but they are worth the price especially on HH. The ice cubes are crystal clear and they have a special shaped one for the highballs. I had the Mescal Manhattan and it was properly cooled and diluted before pouring on the beautiful cube. The balance was spot on for me. Our bartender was attentive and accurate with our orders. The complementary chips and salsas are next level. You get three salsas/sauces to sample on the thin and crispy chips. Don't freak out when you see the pricing on the tacos. They range from $7-10 but these are not little street tacos. One could be a meal especially paired with the chips and salsa. Two tacos were almost more than we could handle. The Chipotle Cherry Steak was tasty -albeit a bit sweet for my taste. My wife loved the Carnitas and my favorite was the California or the Shrimp. Just do it! You won't be disappointed if you like well executed cocktails and great Southwest flavors.

This was also my first time bringing my children, who had saved up money to take me out for Mother's Day dinner. Unfortunately, almost every item we ordered had quality or preparation issues. We started with the Guild Fries appetizer, which arrived completely drenched in what tasted like a bland mayonnaise-based sauce with almost no flavor besides an overwhelming cumin taste. On top of that, there was an excessive amount of guacamole dumped over the fries, making them extremely soggy and unpleasant to eat. My daughter ordered the Chipotle Cherry Steak Taco in a lettuce cup and specifically requested blue cheese, which was completely missing. The lettuce itself was wilted and brown around the edges, which honestly made it look like it was going bad. My husband ordered the duck taco, which was supposed to include crispy duck skin, but the amount served was barely larger than a fingernail. There was also no cream included, making the taco dry and very unsatisfying overall. I ordered the Jackson taco, which was sloppily plated and absolutely drowned in grease. It was nearly impossible to pick up without everything sliding apart. I was also surprised to see repeated menu spelling issues. The menu repeatedly uses the word "consume" instead of "consommé," while online it correctly says "side of consommé." It gives the impression that there is very little attention to detail or proofreading happening. The overall experience was extremely disappointing. The quality of the food has declined severely from what I previously experienced at Taco Guild, while the prices continue to rise or remain high without the quality to justify them. This was honestly sad to experience on what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day dinner with my family. I felt dissatisfied to the point of being genuinely disgusted by parts of the meal, I did take the time to also email the manager who's email is listed on the website and so far I have gotten no response or acknowledgment.
