Place was darn near empty. Walk in and literally all employees working the drive through. Stood for a solid 7 mins. Finally give our order. Now the line behind us is 10 deep. Tell her it's for here... grab our drinks and things and sit down. Honestly... we didn't order anything " special. I regular sandwich 1 beef/cheddar and potato cakes. They must have called up 4 people.. not us. I finally go up with my receipt and ask. Oh.... yeah.... wait... I'll get that together for you. She throws everything in a bag and hands it to me . Hello Arby's! And hello 2nd place! This is the third stop on my search for a decent fast food fish sandwich. And it kind of surprised me because I would've never guessed that Arby's could make something more than a roast beef sandwich or something featuring 'the meats'. Don't let 2nd place fool you though. It was kind of a photo finish decision where the shear size of this Crispy Fish sandwich is what edged out the cute fast food red head. While Wendy's sandwich features Cod, Arby's uses Pollock, just like Burger King. The difference is, the Pollock here isn't mushy like that at BK. And while Arby's Crispy Fish isn't as flavorful as Wendy's sandwich, it is significantly larger, crispier, and more filling. There was a generous portion of lettuce and the tartar sauce was decent. And as an added bonus, Arby's curly fries kick ass! If you are paying attention, you will notice I have been hitting all corners of the valley. This stop happened to be close to my office. While I had never stopped in this Arby's previously, I wouldn't have a problem coming back. The old building has been nicely updated inside and despite the slightly sketchy area, I wasn't concerned for my safety like I was at the Burger King that started this series of reviews. Finally, how much value is there here? In this case, I would say Arby's offers a very good value. At $8.35, this combo may be slightly more than Wendy's, therefore the second least expensive, you get what you pay for. And at Arby's, it's a lot of fish for the money. read more

I generally stay away from arby's because of their false advertising. I realize that food in the commercials and food you get in the "restaurant" are different, but that difference is egregious at arby's. some of their sandwiches are good but they look NOTHING like advertised. take the picture I uploaded. the top is what the sandwich would look like in an ideal world (it's from their website), or maybe a nice restaurant the bottom is what I got. The top looks like roast beef that is cooked to medium, and has nice melted cheese and decent looking onions and peppers on it. The bottom looks like a trucker sat on a sandwich someone pulled out of a dumpster. I wrote to arby's on their website uploaded the same picture and asked if they thought the food looked good, or inviting and their response was "no" They sent me 2 coupons for free meals and supposedly spoke with the manager. Food was good but they didn't give us the cheese sauce that we paid $1.49 for extra. Shame cause I would've given them 5 stars. But that is robbery to not give us what we paid for. This has to be one of the best managed Arby's in Phoenix. Every employee I came into contact during my visit were very pleasant and attentive. The dining area and bathrooms were spotless, which says a lot about a restaurant especially during the lunch hours. I will be a return customer for sure! read more

Last week Tuesday at Arby's ordered 2 sandwiches and large fries to share. I said to the Cashier the fries are small for large.. She was rude and said they are large. Went to 32st and Thomas last weekend. 2 beef and cheddar use to be 6 dollars than went to 7 dollars. Now 6.50 each and order of fry's are much smaller. Upon arriving home more surprises both sandwiches were sloppy , mashed with half the meat and cheese out of sandwich. Also no napkins. I called to voice my concern and manager did not offer to make things right. She just said she would talk to her crew. We have been customers for over 7 years but that is our last visit. read more

Alright so I'm not a huge fan of Arby's. I mean, I'll eat it if it's put in front of me, but generally I find everything to be a little gooey. Weird. BUT, I gave this particular Arby's four stars for the radicalist (as in the most radical, not like a radicalist who overthrows governments and stuff) sign ever to grace the Arcadia hood. It's right up there with the great Courtesy Chevrolet sign on Camelback. Also: they have a bell you can ring for good service! Frustrated! This used to be a decent Arby's but the last 2 times they've managed to get my order wrong. Traditional Greek Gyro, no tomato, no lettuce, extra sauce. Is that difficult? I don't think so. Just don't put stuff on it! Last time they put a lot of lettuce on it. This time, after the drive-up guy questioned me even more, I assumed it would be right. Wrong! Been to so many Arby's locations in my life but, this one is by far the best! Fun fact: I live by another location but still drive 15 more minutes to come here. The management is fantastic! All the staff is so friendly and helpful. Orders are always fresh and correct! Even when you go right before they close, they never rush you or make you feel bad for coming 30 minutes before closing as other locations. Kudos to this team! Keep up the good work! read more

Apparently, this is one of the original Arby's in the Phoenix area. The restaurant itself is nothing special. It's just an Arby's. The customer service is always polite and professional. The food tastes like Arby's and the turnovers are delicious! The decor is old but maintained really well. The inside could use a remodel but it's not in bad condition; just older style. I used to work at an Arby's years ago so it is always fun to visit them and see if the food/staff is up to standards. We went through the drive through and ordered a Beef n Cheddar Combo and an additional sandwich on the side. The girl who took our order was very friendly and took the order quickly. The food was tasty and I am happy to report that the fries were hot and hadn't been sitting out. We were cashed out and handed our food, the drinks were almost forgotten and we had to remind them. It didn't bother me at all but they might want to work on handing the drinks out promtly after cashing out the order to quench the customers thirst in the Arizona heat and to improve their overall drive through times. I thought this location was very unique also because they have the old school Arby's hat sign outside of their store which is rare to see. read more

Always the best customer service! In a day and time where stores are kicking you out 20 minutes before they close. And so many employees are either super unhappy with their jobs and it shows. Or in some cases customer service type positions are filled by non customer service types. Even though it's my belief if the leadership is right even the non CS types can learn to provide decent customer service. This is one of those rare case establishments that clearly has that kind of solid leadership. A few things that come to mind. Once the employee ran after us to check to make sure we were given napkins. Another time the girl checked to make sure we had our Au jus sauce. Usually those are things I find out the hard way after getting home. Very proactive and happy employees at this location. Knowing how the types that piss and moan all the time and hate their jobs wouldn't last an hour working with this team. Negative Debbie downers definitely don't mix with positive upbeat types. Turkey Ranch and Bacon Sandwich was great. Lettuce was sandwich lettuce so a little flat but I expected this. Tomatoes weren't slivers but juicy. The Greek Gyros was tasty -Meat was hot, lettuce was cold and crisp, pita was soft. French Dip was meaty and served with a side of aus juice that was hot. Regular Arby Classic was tasty and the bread was soft. And all this was done in drive thru at 6:30pm with good customer service. Ordered 2 turkey,bacon,ranch sandwiches with 1 Order of curly fries and 1 orders of onion rings. When we got home with our order we only had the Onion rings which were burnt and no curly fries. The sandwiches were made very haphazard with not much turkey,bacon ,cheese or ranch. I had a recent experience today where my Canadian credit cards were not working at this location. After speaking with my bank they determined that the machine at the location was the issue. However, to help with this issue the young lady at the register "comped" my meal. I was late getting to the airport so I didn't have time to go to an ATM to come back to pay. I am very grateful for her generosity. I have been trying to call this location to see if I can speak with this lady and try and send her payment somehow. This is a great location for Arby's. They have great roast beef sandwiches. And I love putting about 3oz of the Arby's sauce on the sandwich. I have not liked any of the special sandwiches....
