    El Diablo Double.

I came here around 2 pm. on a Sunday, and there were no customers. But the place was very clean and the service was fast and friendly. I got the El Diablo double burger, and it was awesome, just the perfect amount of heat from the jalapeños and poppers.

We got chicken sandwiches from Carl's Jr today. Where the hell is the chicken?? It was all bun. How disappointing! It was dried out.

Before volunteering at St Mary's Food Bank, I used Yelp to find a fast food place and came across Carl's Jr. Read the one review and I was sold. The worker's there have an infectious, enthusiastic attitude, friendly and want to make your dining experience enjoyable. I had the Western Bacon Burger which was well worth the $8 for the combo. It included the $6 burger. When is the last time you had the burger bulging out of the bun? The only negative was the shape of the french fries. I like them a lot thinner. If they had shoe string fries, it would be a killer combination. The burger came wrapped like In & Out Burger, not in a cardboard box. The seating area was clean and modem with two color TV's set on the ESPN stations. At one end of the seating area, there was one worker mopping the floor. I've never seen such pride in what they do to keep the place in tip top condition.

Moldy bread. Took a bite and saw this. I've called about 15 times and get no answer.

Very unhappy. Took a bite of my western burger and it had moldy bread. I've been calling nonstop, called about 15 times and get no answer. Website won't let me leave message for corporate. Very angry that no one answers at the restaurant. 000000 stars

2343 E bell road location. So I have always considered the famous/super my favorite by far fast food burger. I even worked in high school at a Tucson location. Today I was able to visit a location listed above after work and couldnt resist stopping for a Superstar with cheese. Well this is what I received no manipulation and I only traveled 100 yards in parking lot to eat. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement, and I think the craving will be much lower from now on.

    The coveted water cup!

Came to this Carl's Jr for a quick lunch. It's not in the best part of town but I figured I could get a bite to eat without a problem... I was wrong. I ordered a hamburger and fries and asked for a cup for water. The cashier reacted as if I had just pulled a gun. He started getting nervous and said that he can't give me a water cup because it "causes too many problems." I had no idea what he was talking about. He said people "steal" soda so they don't give out water cups. He said that I can buy a cup or fill up my own cup if I happened to have one in my back pocket. I asked for the manager and he lowered his voice and whispered that he could give me a kids cup. Pretty hilarious. Only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of one is because the food wasn't bad.

Terrific service and their low-carb charbroiled Atlantic cod is really to die for. Also check out their low-carb chicken club, sure beats McDonalds.

    Couldn't resist a sip!

This place is so lonely but the food is made super fresh, there's a wait time but it's so worth it. Parking lot is big.

There were 3 different TV's around the place, at the time all tuned on a different one of the ESPN channels.

It goes without saying you will order beef - carne de res. The name on the sign clearly states 'Toro.' I recommend a caramelo campechano, maybe three. Now, "campechano," as we know it, applies to ceviche (what with our proximity to Baja). In both cases, it means that there will be a mix. In the Arizona/Sonora case, the music is carne and tripa (intestine) asada. And a caramelo is analogous to the mulitas you find in SoCal. Something like a fat man's quesadilla, except open faced. It should also go without saying that the preferred tortilla shall be flour. Note too, the neighborhood is borderline sketch; seeing as how it borders the Phoenix hood of Maryville. Nevertheless, you'll be fine.

The layout is a bit challenging since the menu board faces perpendicular to where you enter. When I arrived a group were craning their necks to read the options. This is not fancy. My order was called and I had the charcoal grilled fish and my friend had the classic burger . We also split the chili fries. Both came on paper fry containers and a cafeteria style tray. There was a large condiments stand with wagon wheels. It is similar to chuckbox but much larger. The food was decent and the fish cooked correctly. I apologize for no pics, we were engaged in a stimulating conversation. People put food first but in today's workd, we need to spend more time talking and listening to one another. I completely forgot to take pics of the food. Overall, it is a simple smashed style of burger patty. The ambiance is lower lighting with a western aged setting. Think traditional western style. It was my first time and while not my preferred style of burger, the food is decent. This is a place that offers customizable food, TV's and it was not too noisy. The counter person was extremely helpful in offering insights and options. Enjoy your experience and wear your boots and Cowboy hat.

There are way more options and it's still really easy to get something healthy without spending a ton. I got the Chicken Protein Bowl XL with brown rice, avocado, sweet potatoes, pepperoncinis, a hard boiled egg and extra chicken. The portions were really good, especially for the price. You can't really tell from the picture, but there was an insane amount of chicken buried underneath the rice. I kept thinking I was almost done with the chicken and then finding more underneath which was definitely a nice surprise. Everything in the bowl tasted fresh and the chicken was probably my favorite part. I also liked how customizable everything was. There are enough different proteins and toppings that you could come here pretty often without having to get the same thing every time. I've also tried the lobster rolls here in the past. I thought those were pretty average, but definitely not bad considering the price. I'd probably stick with the bowls going forward though. I'm really happy to have another healthy fast food option around here, good portions, lots of protein, plenty of choices and the prices are actually reasonable.

My daughter has been raving about this place so I thought I would give it a shot and googled if…read morethere was an Angie's near where I was going to be and lo and behold, there was not too far away at 1st Ave/Thomas. That location is close to a place I go to frequently, so this is another option for me if I should need some food and don't want to do Salad & Go, but want something healthy. I got an Asian Grilled Burrito with Wild Salmon. Was driving so a bowl I could not do. I could barely eat the burrito driving because it's sort of flat and had rice. It was very yummy. Something I learned was Angie's does not have straws and if you order a Refresher, they give you a packet of something to put in the cup. You have to figure out how to make the Refresher, which I saw at the soda fountain dispenser there was sparkling water, so I did that and some Vanilla Torino's. I went about 11 am, and the Torino's were nearly gone and the little table that it was on was fairly unclean. The area to order, where you pickup the order, the soda area, and the metal table by the soda area were all really close and crowded. Since this was my first time there, I didn't even understand that you had to order at some kiosk. They had one by the pickup area and 2 more on the east wall. Felt overwhelming for me. I did not see what the dining area looked like. My burrito was $11-12 and the Refresher was $2. My daughter said their prices were much better than Salad and Go and other places, but I found my meal similar. Oh, I guess the getting wild salmon was the costly thing. Had I gotten chicken, it would've been much less. My daughter said she's never had their burritos, only their salads. A lady that had ordered many times there did help me with some things I didn't understand and she said she loves their food. Turns out the owner of Angie's named the places after his mom who passed away about 5 yrs ago. He also started Salad and Go and this is upscale from Salad and Go. I'm glad this is an option. But maybe they can keep prices good is to cut on the things that don't really matter as much and focus on the food. I'm good with that. The next time I go to an Angie's, I will be better prepared. There isn't one too close to me like there are lots of Salad and Go's, so I hope they open some in Gilbert, Mesa, and Scottsdale. Oh, parking is not that great at this location. You basically need to be heading east on Thomas before 1st Ave as there are a few parking spots on the diagonal. Don't park in the First Watch parking lot. If you're coming west on Thomas, make a u-turn after you pass 1st Ave.
