This location simply ROCKS. I have always gotten great food and efficient, courteous service here, no matter who is behind the counter. That tells me the management team here must be doing a great job. When our youngest son went to college in New Jersey, we had a chance to visit him a few times. We'd never been to New Jersey, but what we learned right off the bat (among other things!) is that the folks there know how to EAT WELL, and it's pretty hard to get a bad hoagie --especially if you eat in the mom & pop places. Having had some good sandwiches back east, Jersey Mike's Subs caught my attention. It's been a few years that I've been eating food from this location, but it is ALWAYS consistently good and made-to-order, which INCLUDES cutting the deli meats right in front of you. That makes a huge difference in quality and freshness, as the meat doesn't sit sliced in a metal tub like in other places! If you like Italian Beef, try my favorite: Regular Rosemary Parmesan Bread #13 Italian, with extra meat (a couple of bucks extra), but put special instructions when you order, like, "For Extra Meat, Please Add Roast Beef". That way you get an Italian sub with all the usual meats PLUS sliced Roast Beef. SO GOOD. I order "Mike's Way" with extra onions, jalapenos, and dill pickles. We arrived at around noon to get subs (3 of them). The employees were very rude to start off, we asked for two ham sandwiches and one Italian. We trusted that the employees knew what they were doing and when we got home we opened up our sandwiches to find that there was no Italian but three ham sandwiches instead. A message for management Please add more staff so your employees don't take their stress on the customer. Please remind your staff not to toss anything to their customers or complain because you want to buy an extra item once you picked up an order. The customer service at this location is second class!!! A MESSAGE TO MANAGEMENT 3/14 at 2:45 PM!! I walked into this location on this day/time. Not a single customer in line. Four employees were working behind the counter. I stood there for five minutes before I was acknowledged. I was just in this location and witnessed the 3 worst employees. 1 girl and 2 guys. The one guy was slicing peppers and did say that someone will be right with me as he walks away. He then returned to continue slicing peppers. The girl was wiping down the meat slicer as I stood there and didn't even acknowledge me. She then walks away and came back to start opening a bag of something then put some cheese on the slicer without saying anything to me as if I wasn't there. Meanwhile another employee walks through and then leaves. I was the only person in line. I would say that the customer service was terrible. I just waited almost 40 minutes inside the store to pickup an online order. The quoted pickup time was 11:37, I received the order at 12:12. At a minimum, they should adjust the pickup time to reflect the current wait. In my opinion, they should stop accepting online orders after a certain quantity. Waiting 40 minutes for a cold sub is absolutely ridiculous. To add insult to injury, the order was wrong! They incorrectly made two out of three subs!!! I will not be back ever again! read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Went into this location at 7:30, 2 1/2 hours before the closing time. There were three employees in the store. One person mopping, another making a sandwich, and a guy in the back . As I entered the store, there was no acknowledgment or greeting and the first acknowledgment I received was from the girl mopping by her stating "we're almost out of bread." I asked to clarify if they had gluten free bread before I started ordering. There was a customer waiting at this same time, who was waiting on a sandwich. This customer got up and drove away and chose not to wait for the sandwich. The employees the stated "should I keep making the sandwich then?" Still no direction on where to order or when they were ready to take my order. I stood waiting until the mopping girl came behind the counter and states "so are you going to order?" The guy in the back stepped in to make my sandwich, and I acknowledge that he seemed to know what he was doing, but I could tell he was frustrated due to the other girls attitude and lack of focus on work. When my sandwich was ready, I stepped up to the register to order and I was told to wait while to helped a customer who approached them after I had come in. I can appreciate a clean space or good food, but I will never return to this location because of the experience I had with the employees. If you want to feel like an inconvenience to the employees, this is where to go. I just looked back at reviews going back a year, and it seems this is an ongoing issue with acknowledging customers. Not sure who is managing this space, but this needs to be addressed otherwise you will keep losing business from more than just me. read more

I just ate again at this JM today and it was even better than my first review visit. Alex, one of the best Managers I've met, recommended their "Big Kahuna" sub and it was HUGE! It was full of hot lean steak and melted cheese with jalapenos on a hot rosemary parmigian roll. It was the best sub I've had in 2021 and a top ten ever for me. Service is 10 plus. It was lunchtime and although busy, Alex had things running smoothly like a Swiss watch. The place is spotlessly clean. I also enjoyed the salt vinegar chips and M&M cookies for dessert. I've been to all the major sub chains in Phoenix and I rate Jersey Mikes the best, number #1 !!! Congrats. read more

Usually good service and good food. Not today. It may seem like a small thing but a sandwich shop should never run out of bread, specifically white bread of all things. Then I have to wait for my order that I called in 20 minutes before. Now I have sandwiches I don't really want and I have to wait twice as long. As I walked up to the counter I was greeted by the employees who took my order and started preparing my order in no time. The bread at Jersey Mike's is perfectly, soft, fresh and tasty. The meats and cheese were definitely fresh and plentiful. I ordered my sub "Mike's Way" which meant it came with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Vinegar, Oil and Spices. I came here for my birthday sub and the staff was immediately friendly and got my order done correctly and timely. I ordered the California sub without tomatoes. It was really really food. Solid sandwiches and service found here! I have been on a sandwich kick lately and decided to try Jersey Mikes this time. The minute I walked in I was warmly greeted by the staff as well as the delicious aroma of baked bread (my favorite). I had no idea what I wanted but did not feel pressured in any way, and was told to take my time and order when ready. I couldn't decide between the hot Italian sub or the turkey sub (Mikes way), and the sandwich creator suggested the turkey so I went with it. I must say it was a good decision. My order was up in no time and the moment of truth was about to be revealed. Well...the bread was fresh and tasty, the turkey was plentiful, and getting the sub "Mikes Way" with their special sauces and spice blend was so yummy. The staff seemed very upset with each other and passive aggressive comments were loud enough for all customers to hear. It was honestly very uncomfortable and sad. The girl at the counter with dark black/brown curly hair and no work ethic didn't tell me our transaction was over and I had to ask her for a receipt to get her to acknowledge anything was happening. I'm honestly curious if the staff was drinking or on drugs due to their behavior. I hope this location adjusts. GREAT SERVICE !! So I walked in after a long day of work and orders a giant 43! While they were making my sub another customer is being loud an going on and on about not getting enough food and wanting another sub free and to add bacon for free. Long story short I get home and instead of steak, I got chicken. I called the store and they apologized and gave an option of getting it fixed or refund. So disappointed with jersey mikes today. I showed up to pick up my order and it was not ready, I waited an additional 30 minutes for my sandwiches to be made. I watched as other orders that clearly came after mine be made and picked up: I decided to go get my kids some other food because they were starved. I showed back up 10 minutes and my sandwiches were still not made. I noticed the girl working reprinted my receipt to go put back in line. It appeared she threw my order away after she saw me leave thinking I wasn't coming back. I waited another 10 minutes for my sandwiches to be made. With only one meat cutter, I just don't see how the operation works for who gets their sandwiches made first - the order on-lines or the people waiting in store.
