He also helped with a bird that was caught in my kitchen vent. Most recently, Nicole assisted my parents by sealing areas on the roof where a bird got stuck in the vents at their home. We have had other experiences with hawks and ducks too! He inspected our roof for possible points of entry and once he located the point of entry, he set traps, came daily to check the traps and attic for activity. On day one, he caught 2 opposums, day three - 1 opposum and day four - 1 opposum. Total of 4 oppossums. I was truly excited to get a good night's sleep . . . No more hissing noises, scrambling around in my attic or chomping on the wood or beams. He patched up the point of entry and kept everything clean and neat. We called everywhere for three days trying to find a rescue service that could help us figure out what to do without harming the family with no luck. Finally, another rescue service that couldn't help us at the time, suggested we try Joe at Lone Wolf. I called and he re-arranged his overloaded schedule to make us his first stop in the morning. He gently corralled the ducklings, but had no luck with the mama, she wanted nothing to do with it and eventually flew away. Joe takes the rescued orphans where he and his family expertly raise them until their old enough to release back in the wild. He was very patient and carefully explained what he does and is a great guy to boot. His fees are more than reasonable. He deals with all kinds of wildlife and/or pests, so if you have a problem, he should be the first and last call you need to make.
