I have been a customer of Bulwark exterminating for many years. Today's service was performed by a new service tech, Jordan Doswell, and I am very impressed with his professionalism. He was trained by our previous tech, Cory, and I want to compliment Cory, as Jordan didn't miss a beat and provided the same conscientious treatment as I have come to expect from Bulwark. Welcome to Jordan, and I look forward to his continued quality service in the months to come. read more

Carl Mann Showed us mouse droppings and was able to show us results right away. within the first 2 days he got 3! Bulwark even scheduled a follow-up within a day! so that he could remove and replace the traps! read more

Carl took care of care of my weeds this month which we have been battling with due to all of the rain. He also sprays our home and addresses any issues we have living by a mountain side. He especially makes sure to spray inside as well so no one gets stung! read more

Prices increase while the service decreases with every treatment. Always a new tech coming to my home and barely treating and providing me the service I pay a lot of money for. Had a pre-emergent weed service today and the tech was at my house for 5 minutes tops if anything less than that. I have a huge front yard and backyard. So it should be taking them a lot longer to spray my yards. Having weeds that show no treatment on them nor anywhere around my yard could I see sprayed. read more

I've now had Bulwark out to our home three times - once for an initial treatment of an ant infestation, a second time for a free retreatment (the ants are relentless, man), and a third time for our regularly scheduled treatment. I've already sung the praises of Carl from our first visit, but Daniel Burleson has been our tech for the last two services. Daniel is amazing! He's been able to arrive early each time, which makes me feel better that someone doesn't have to be out in the Phoenix heat for too long. He's friendly, professional, and thorough. He paid attention to what I told him about current insects we're seeing in and around our home and took extra measures to help us keep them under control. I appreciate the service I've received from Bulwark, Daniel, and Carl, and I'll keep recommending them to folks I know in the area. read more

We've had Bulwark for years for our pest needs. Our last treatment I forgot to unlock the gate to the backyard. Evyn C was so kind to reschedule... I also love the service that they text when they are on the way. Evyn asked if we had any concerns. The techs are always very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them for your pest needs. read more

We are signed up for monthly service with Bulwark and they have always done an outstanding job for 10+ years For example, Brendan N. came today and very thoroughly considered the best way to eradicate our ant problem and how to prevent its reoccurrence. Bulwark is available whenever we need them, and they always have knowledgeable technicians such as Brendan N. to solve whatever pest issue we have. They also are very careful about environmental concerns and pets. We appreciate them read more

Bulwark schedules appointments every two months, and has an app that let's you schedule any in-between visits you may need as well as over the phone. They also give you sticky cardboard traps that seem to be working better than just spraying the baseboards. We have German cockroaches and they are hard to get rid of. We're seeing less, and the extra visits seem to be helping. read more

[I had Bulwark out for my regular service. Eduardo noticed the roden box, that had been left behind from past service. He opened it up and there was a live rat. The box had no bait in it for quite some time. Eduardo was able to kill the rat with a shovel and placed bate in the box again. he contained with spraying. I was trying to disconnect and reconnect a new garden hose with difficulty. Eduardo noticed I was having a hard time. He offered to help me. I am a senior citizen so his offer to help was very appreciated. He went the extra mile! I have had Bulwark several for several years if I have any problems I make a call and my issues are taken are of. I am notified in advance of my regular service. read more

Well, this review pains me to write. A little background.. I signed up with Bulwark in 2006 and for the most part have been very satisfied with them... until now. I agreed to change to auto-payments to be drawn every month instead of the bi-monthly payments. When I did this, I was specifically told that my current balance would have to be paid manually as the auto-payment wouldn't take effect until the next payment. During this time, my wife was furloughed from her job for 2 months. I went to call Bulwark to see if my service could be placed on hold until we got her paycheck again. Before I could do this, Bulwark charged me for 3 months of service. I was shocked that they did this, no email to advise or phone call??? When I called in to complain, I spoke to a supervisor named Jessica. She offered no help at all.. she did offer to refund the $73.50 that was taken without permission but that payment would still be due right away. After 17 years as a customer, I told her that I would have to cancel my account if this can not be resolved... her response? "I can cancel your account right away". Really? No attempt what so ever to retain a long time customer? After that, I emailed the owner of the company "Tom" explaining the situation. No response... after a week, I went back on their website and filled out the contact request hoping to get someone to contact me to discuss my situation... still nothing...I didn't want to cancel my account but I feel that if they have no interest in retaining a customer, I'm not gonna beg to be their customer. After a very basic search, I found that there are tons of other pest control companies that would love to have me as a customer... as a basic business thought, it appears that customer acquisition and retention only appears to be $75 for Bulwark. Hey Bulwark, if you want to talk, call me read more

Called bulwark after requesting a quote through Yelp; they immediately got back to me, as they say, the early bird gets the worm. After speaking with Steven on their sales line, I got started with their month to month roach extermination services. Was able to save some money through the Yelp deal they have on their page, so overall I was just a happy customer. As they told me over the phone, the service technician was on time and very professional. Talked me through the process, and was in and out of my house within 20 minutes. They are coming back every 2 months to spray, and the price I'm getting is extremely reasonable. Let this be a note to other business owners that utilize the Request A Quote button on Yelp: Respond back as soon as possible! I had roaches, the only thing I cared about was getting someone out to my house as soon as possible; of course reviews matter, but everybody has good reviews! Be prompt! People don't use Yelp for fun... Thank you Bulwark and to Yelp for connecting me with this great service provider! read more

These people are clueless. I've had their service post regular pest and termite for years. I got a text in April about setting up payments for my termite warranty (which isn't due until August , when I pulled up my account online ). When I asked how much it was and when it was due, I was told they couldn't tell me by text and to call...really? So I told them don't text or call I'll pay in full when I get the bill in August. By this time I had looked it up. Ps. 3 phone calls about setting up monthly payments? Finally cancelled service entirely except for termite warranty. I got a call and email about picking up bait stations. They came out on a Saturday and picked them up. Got another call after they had been out to arrange pickup. I called and told them it had been done. They said yes they see that but didn't close out a ticket. No apology for yet another call. Just a snotty attitude. When there are multiple companies in the valley, why deal with people trying to get you to pay months before your service is due, repeatedly call after you tell them no, and then can't even keep track of the work they've done? read more

I really like Bulwarks service and think the money is worth it. They always make sure I'm happy with the service and provide multiple treatment options. Great bang for my buck. They always come out when I need them. Their technicians are always friendly and professional. We had some family move back to Arizona who purchased a ranch. They had some rattle snakes and mice they wanted to protect the animals from. Since we used them before, and the price was decent I referred them. I recommender they ask another family member who they used as well since the lived on an acre lot and had dealt with mice in the past too. That way they had something to compare. They chose Bulwark and have been very happy with them now for over a year. read more

Horrible Termite Service- Cory came out to inspect my obvious active termite infestation w confirmed by technician on 04.29.19. The entire threshold of one of my doors was completely eaten away by termites. Inspection showed termites active. No notes were put on my account only for another home of mine that I had an estimate done on was notated. More time wasted on the phone trying to get things straightened out. I am a very disappointed customer and I recommend having your termite needs handled by a different company who guarantees their service when it fails to protect your home from getting eaten away by termites. read more

Jose was great. Taught us gringo's a little about desert critters. Look forward to a long working relationship and bugs that leave home.

I have had bulwark for about a year. I haven't been happy with them. Office doesn't know what exterminator use and don't relay properly to exterminator what I required. We have fruit trees ( there when we bought house but hate them.) we started getting rats when my neighbors but in fruit trees too. First exterminator was great. Went around told me what I needed checked exterior for any way the could get in attic said all was good. Second gentleman was good too. He texted me when he was coming and when he what he did and I was very happy. 2nd time same thing. After that it was only when I called because no one had been out to fill boxes and treat pest control around the house. Office didn't know what had been done and never relayed the message I asked of them. One time I was text he is on his way never showed up. We asked for snap traps a guy came out never told us what he did. I waited three weeks not a word I was ready to find another company but then Josean L was sent out and explained what he was doing snap traps were in place and someone should have been checking if rat in trap. If it hadn't been for Josean L I would have fired bulwark and this would be a one star rating. read more

They have done a great job keeping up on termites issues that have popped up during our remodel. Would definitely recommend this company.

They no showed for the first appointment. When I called to ask what's up, they have pretended like my appointment was the next day despite my email confirmation. Guys came out and were done within 20 minutes, promised there would be a 2 week follow up and they would call me to schedule. Didn't hear anything so I called. Lady who answered said she didn't have anything for a week. I said I needed two weeks out and she said call back in a week. That was a month ago. No customer service, no follow up like they said and I find it hard to believe they couldn't schedule me for two weeks out if that was what I promised. read more

Terrible service. Poor communication. Their phone customer service is awful. They promise great service, it doesn't happen. They are inconsistent and frustrating to deal with. They made multiple mistakes when scheduling our appointments and never took responsibility for their mistake. I canceled our service and will be looking for a new exterminator. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more
