I purchased a home and just decided to continue using the pest service that was already in place but over the course of the next 12 months we found 7 scorpions in the house, some alive and some dead. I can't have that with two small kids running around so after MULTIPLE attempts of calling the pest control service they routinely came and re-sprayed ONLY the spot where the scorpion was located, seemed odd to me but I'm not a pest control tech so what do I know. After finding yet another scorpion #8 and a huge family of black widows alive just days after a spray I had enough. I decided to find a new service. I came across Orange Pest with a google search and called. Soon after, a tech was at my house and spent 45 minutes scouring every inch of the yard, block fence, and inside the home (keeping care to avoid the common play areas) while treating around it to keep a strong perimeter. I did find one more scorpion about 2 weeks later but it was 90% dead and we had some furniture deliveries so I'm not 100% sure they didn't carry it in. Overall I am very happy with Orange Pest and this is the longest stretch of scorpion free we have been since we moved here. The techs are clean cut and extremely friendly. These guys are superb. I shopped around via the phone and OPC was the only service that would look at the problem at no charge. All others said they would charge me just look at the bee problem I was having. I had a bee hive behind the electrical box attached to my house. They showed up on time and were done in about 15 minutes. That nest is bee free. About 2 weeks later a new nest started in my back yard under my tool shed. I called Tyler and asked if they were the same bees only to have moved. He said "no" and that there is probably a large colony in my housing complex. He offered to do the job at 50% off since they had done a recent job for me. That nest is dead. I have three dogs and was used a pesticide that wouldn't harm them. Again he was on time, early in fact and by 9 am he was done and the bees have not returned. OPC is the best priced and affective service. The staff is friendly and on time. Save yourself time searching for a good pest control service. I rarely write reviews. Take my word and use OPC for your pest control needs. read more

We moved to Gilbert s few months ago and bought a new house. After we bought the house we learned it was infested with scorpions. They absolutely freak us out because we know nothing about them and we have a little baby. We paid to have our whole house sealed and also were using a pest control company. While we didn't find any inside we were seeing 5 to 10 in our back yard every night with a black light search. The pest control company I was using then was sarcastic to me and asked what the big deal was if I didn't see any inside. Well we bought this house to also enjoy our backyard. It felt hopeless but I decided to switch to Orange Pest Control after reading some positive reviews. In the two weeks they have come out I have only seen one live scorpion and it was the day they sprayed. I either see dead ones or none at all. They must use some miracle formula. We had our first appointment with Orange Pest control last Saturday morning and it was better than expected. Brad Bliss arrived as promised and explained the whole process before starting the work. The best part was that he wasn't just able to explain the whole process and answer various questions in English, he also did so in Spanish!(this was not expected) Brad was very friendly, didn't matter whether we were speaking English or Spanish, he was just as friendly and respectful. Personally, it means a lot when companies are able to provide the same excellent service in your native language. Helps build a better relationship, and of course it invites more people to use your service! So far my experience with Orange Pest Control has been extraordinary and recommend them 110%. For the previous 3 years we used Responsible pest control for scorpion control, and it seemed to work ok. I would still find 5 or so scorpions a month . My understanding was you just cant get rid of all of them. Well Responsible Pest Control sold off to a larger company and raised there prices so I decided to shop around. I talked with the owner at Orange Pest control and he seemed like a pretty good guy and price seemed about average ( I was not happy about having to pay more but thats life). Well the first couple months we saw quite a few scorpions, more then normal (thinking what did we do) Well I am pretty sure what happened is they got all the scorpions out from there hiding spots. I highly recommend Orange Pest Control, we have used their service for a little over a year now and they have been great the whole time. They are dependable - always here when they say they are going to be. They are willing to, and have come out between visits when asked, however I have only needed them to once or twice because their product is so effective. They have always been very professional and helpful - willing to spray wherever you ask or answer any questions and believe me, being new to the Phoenix area I was full of questions - I am not a fan of any bug especially not a scorpion. He explained the type of bugs and their behaviors to me after showing him a few dead ones that I had yet to pick up. His treatment of the outside perimeter was great! I've never seen such a thorough treatment on my house. Finally, their treatment worked so well the first time that we really didn't start seeing a few bugs until our quarterly treatment time was due. This company is fantastic! I have been using them for a few years now. Prepping for my move a few years ago, I packed a bunch of boxes in the garage and found a scorpion walking across the floor. I was so freaked out thinking there were more scorpions in my boxes and that I was bringing them with me. We moved into our new house a few months ago. Upon returning home from a trip we discovered an aggressive hive of bees inside the wall right by our front door. (I was stung just by standing over 20 feet away!) We run two businesses from our home so we have people over frequently and can't risk someone getting hurt. I talked to Orange Pest Control in the early evening and explained that we would have clients coming over most of the next day. The owner came right over and in about an hour the bees were gone. I called several of the big (and small) companies in the valley when I had a massive cricket infestation. Orange came through with the best price and quickest scheduling! Within just a few hours of a complete inside and outside spray, by cricket problem was no longer - and even two months later, I've seen three (tops) in the house. This is the first pest control company I've used but chose them after seeing their great reviews on Yelp. They are knowledgeable and thorough at explaining everything whether on the phone or in person. The 2 techs I've met are friendly, professional, and prompt. They give you an hour time frame of arrival and have been punctual both times. I just had my house initially sprayed yesterday for scorpions, crickets, spiders, and sugar ants that made their way in my house. I started using Orange Pest control in June when I called my existing pest control company and they wanted to book me out 5 days for a bee infestation. Today was my second scorpion/bug treatment from Orange Pest Control. The technician both times was Trevor... SUCH AN AWESOME young man, so very respectful...even when my fur babies needed a pet from him and he waited so patiently for them to go potty before he continued spraying. He really does a great job, asks about any activity we may have seen since the last treatment... Have we seen activity since the first treatment... yes twice and that is to be normal... the treatment will make those boogers run and scatter then they die :) Seriously I love Orange Pest Control as well a Trevor...
