I will never understand how this business does not have 5 I had a huge cockroach infestation problem in my house. As in you can see grandmas of grandmas living in my house, under my fridge, under my oven. I needed a full extermination (think 9 generations clan extermination in Ancient China). David delivered. He jumped in and helped me moved appliances around so he can get in there and get them. He even recommended ways to keep my house roach free. I haven't had an infestation in 10 years!!! And that was only after 3 treatments. I understand that he might not match with everyone personality wise. But if you want quality, look no further. Quick response! Professional equipment and service ! I was searching for a company to resolve my any problem on Saturday night after trying to remedy it my self all week. Dealt w/David Marshall several times. He's got a lot of BS as to why you should go with them. Every time I tried to set up something the come back was we're having issues w/our voicemail system. Problem was I spoke with him directly. Then it was he was sick and then it was we're a small company. Excuse after excuse, which is why I've decided not to go with a small company. If one person gets sick, nothing gets done. I have AT&T for a phone service and have never had problems with my voicemail. One awkward moment! He says when comes to my home to look the property over he was going to bring me a Dutch brothers coffee. But then he arrives and states he drove all over the place looking for one. The smarter thing to have done, was Google locations on your SMARTPHONE to find a Dutch brothers. This guy has s line of lip service, which I'm not buying into. Too small of a business to handle too much coming at him. Next stop Orkin! Your right David, you never did do business with me, because you could never get your act together! When ever I left you a msg, it would take you over a week to get back to me and you always used AT&T phone service as an excuse as to why you were getting back to me so late, like a week or so late. You were always using AT&T voicemail problems for your problem. BS! I have AT&T and have never had your problems. Face it you're too small of a company. One person, but will tell you he is always getting rid of people, so he is always playing catch up! You're so full of BS! After a while a person gets tired of hearing the same ole BS! Pest Squad came out to my house very quickly when I first moved in and requested service. They were very professional, thorough, and informative. We learned a lot about the types of pests to look out for and were even told what steps to take to further seal our house from pests. We expressed our interest in bi-monthly service and were given a business card to contact when we wanted them to come out again. I knew it was too good to be true. My husband and I have been noticing more bugs (crickets and spiders) in the last week or so which didn't surprise us since it had been nearly two months since our first spray. So, we give Pest Squad a call at their office and no one answers. No big deal. They call me back the same day and say that they will look at their schedule and call me back again. They call me again the next day and tell me there is a change in their service coverage or something along those lines and that they will call me back in 45 min. to discuss it. They never called back after that like they just didn't even want to deal with it and, honestly, I found the whole thing to be very unprofessional and disappointing. I will be moving on to a more dependable company. read more

There are very few times that I ever panic and feel like I need something to be addressed immediately. However, yesterday (Sunday) was one of those days. While friends were visiting from out of town, we heard a noise in the walls and up inside the ceiling/attic. The culprit: Rats. I sat and called 20 different larger companies serving the Valley including Truly Nolen and Terminix. No one was answering their phones and those who did answer were trying to set appointments for Monday or Tuesday afternoon. Some people who answered just kept saying "lady, it's Sunday!" I knew it was Sunday... I almost gave up and turned to Yelp to try and find a local company that was "open now" according to the Yelp search feature. The owner, David, answered and let me know that he would be over in 20 minutes. I was worried that because this was a Sunday call he was going to charge some outrageous "emergency call" fee or something. But he didn't. Everything was on the up-and-up from the get go. Most repair or service companies provide a time estimate and show up 30 minutes to an hour after they say. He knocked on my door 20 minutes after I hung up the phone--that was point 1. He came in and examined the inside, did a full external inspection of my house and then crawled up into the attic. He informed me that we were going to need to put up some traps (that he provides) and also seal off areas of the house on the outside that were openings for any sort of critters to get in. David went to great lengths to show me exactly what was going in the traps, the labeling system he used, how to read the labels and where he was placing the traps. We also have a dog so we wanted to make sure that he wouldn't be able to get into any of the poisonous traps. David showed me exactly how the traps were set-up and reassured me that our pup wouldn't be able to break in to them. AZ Pest Squad is scheduled to come out at least 2 more times to check the traps and seal up our home. The price he gave us was extremely reasonable for all the work he was doing. I expected to pay close to $500 for all the work they were doing. Man was I over estimating!! I've never had a home service company go into so much detail with me about what they are doing. I found Arizona Pest Squad on yelp after I noticed a large number of Ants in and around my house. I filled out the online form on the website on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00 PM and figured I would hear from them sometime Monday. I got a call back in 30 minutes from the owner David and he was at my house within a hour! That was the better part of 18 months ago and I've been under contract ever since. Not a bug to be found since I started getting service every month. The service tech always shows up in the first couple of days of the month. These guys did a great job. Bees had built a hive on the side of our home. Rex was right on time and quickly explained that the situation wasn't too bad and had it quickly resolved. We got a discount offer that they had here on Yelp so the price was the best of all the online quotes I'd seen. He also explained how the treatment worked to keep bees from returning to that particular spot. By the way, "Daivd", the owner, took my initial call. Very nice guy. I'd recommend these guys. I have been having issues with bites and was told I should check for bed bugs. I called around that day hoping someone could come out and check. Several other companies in the area said it would be days before they could come out and most of them charged an inspection fee. When I got ahold of Arizona Pest Squad, he was very friendly and helpful. He said he could be over to look ASAP and was here within 30 minutes. This was a huge relief. After he got here and inspected to confirm I had bed bugs, he was very informative on the next steps I needed to take. Just moved into a new house and called Arizona Pest Squad to spray inside an outside our house. We have dogs and cats, but they worked great with us to make sure the pets didn't get exposed to the pesticides. Also, they didn't push us into a contract on the contrary, they said they'd honor the $45 yelp deal whenever we wanted to get our house sprayed. After dealing with their services, we've decided to get our house sprayed monthly! Within 24 hours of emailing the company, I received a call back. We were moving into a new house and with the cable guy and water guy in and out - I couldn't talk on the phone and asked them to text me. Immediately I received a text and asked for a 2pm appt. They were ready to accommodate. At 11:45 my schedule freed up and and I text-ed to ask for a 12 noon appt - they had just finished working on a home and agreed to meet me in 15 min!!! I was shocked! They show up and did a general walk through/inspection and advised me of their services (all price points) at no point did I feel pressured - the decision was totally up to me. When I chose the higher priced one, their employee took me to see the chemicals and showed me what the label that advised what it took care of. What a nice and unexpected level of customer service! All in all fabulous experience, I never felt as if I was being swindled and they even gave me tips on how to better secure our home from spring/summer pests. He listened to my needs and concerns and created a plan of action going forward. Since opening my newest day spa a little less than a year ago we have been using Arizona Pest Squad. I found them on Yelp originally and I am so grateful I did. My day spa is a few doors down from some restaurants and unfortunately that means bugs... Bugs and Spa's definitely don't go well together so since hiring Arizona Pest they have kept us bug free! They keep us on the perfect schedule so I don't even have to think about it and the spray they use leaves the shop with no odor and most importantly NOOOOO BUGS!! It was 9am... 3 hours before i was having 2 dozen people over for a pool party. I was at working finished up something when my girlfriend texted me that the walls were buzzing and there was a random swarm of bees in our backyard. I thought to myself... typical girl, sees a be and freaks out. I get home and there are literally 300-500 bees flying into a little crack in my wall in the backyard. These little bastards are nesting in my walls! i called the pest squad and the owner actually answered the phone. He was very nice and sincere with his promise of "we'll have someone out there soon, I just have to call my bee guy" OK i thought to myself, he's got a bee guy. within 1 hour I HAD A BEE GUY AT MY HOUSE JUST COMMITTING MASS GENOCIDE ON THESE LITTLE YELLOW BASTARDS! and just like that he put a finger to his nose and up the chimney he rose. I have been using APS and David for my pest control services for about 2 years now. Just a quick call to David/APS and my pest problems are covered. Ants making their way through the backdoor, no problem! Holy sh*t...a dead black widow on the back door ramp, no problem! Then a month ago, my step-dad stops by to take care of a few things and tells me I need to have David have a look at something coming down from the ceiling in the carport. Step-dad didn't want to break the bad news to me himself. LOL So I shoot David a msg and photo and he says it looks like termites!! From what I understand, if you live in Arizona, it is only a matter of time till your house gets termites. UGH! Anyhow, even though APS does not do termite treatment, David forwarded my information to a guy/small company he trusts. Sure enough, we had effing subterranean termites trying to tunnel their way to the ground via these little tubes, from the ceiling in the carport! SMDH And the termite company he passed my into on to, outstanding service that was backed with a guarantee! I own a condo which I rent in Mesa. It is on the first floor. My tenant called to say there was a rat (or droppings) in the oven. I called Arizona Pest Squad and left a voice message at 7:30 am. David called me back at 7:45 am (before they opened) and made an appointment for the same day. He then called my tenant and scheduled with her. He went to the condo, found out that there was at least one rat but no holes in the wall. He concluded that the rat came in under the front screen door when the main door was left open. He set several traps in places where the tenants cats would not get them. Both inside and outside. The next morning, he returned to find that he caught one rat. David also educated my tenants about the necessity of keeping things clean. He pulled the stove out and showed them how much debris was between the wall and the stove and on the floor. He told them that it needed to be cleaned. Same with the refrigerator and the washer and dryer area. He has since caught another rat outside the front door. Dave awnsered my phone call and was very tentative to our questions making sure he serviced our needs properly. These guys were awesome! Friday night around 6pm we noticed hundreds of little black bugs on our back patio where we let our dog out. I totally freaked out! Looked up exterminator on yelp and Arizona Pest Squad came up so I called. I called Friday night around 6:30, David answered and we made an appointment for Saturday morning. David and his colleague were really friendly and so good with our dog. They sprayed and set up a follow-up appointment. We recently moved to the area and my worst fear was scorpions. Unfortunately we have them! We continued to use the bug service the previous owners used and had horrible results. These guys are great! I was worried when I found some tiny bugs hiding in my couch. Thought maybe I had bed bugs setting up camp in my living room. So I decided to call the professionals at AZ Pest Squad and schedule a meeting. David came out, took a look around, and told me there were no bed bugs. Just some small harmless beetles. I'm all for supporting smaller businesses, and have been with this company for quite some time now, don't get me wrong they do a great job keeping the critters away, or i should say whatever product they use, but I'm all about customer service too. They have been going down hill, scheduling issues, never showing up on time, pretty sure they have one girl working in the office only, Michelle i think her name is, always has been very helpful and nice, admitted to making a scheduling error. However lately they've been sending out a different technician every time and the last tech said that nobody can last working for David, because of how they're treated. I couldn't believe he was representing the company like that. I have decided to go with another company after my last service completed recently. Update: David, I've been a long time customer of yours and am provided monthly service for $50.00. I have all the receipts you guys leave me each time. The last tech that completed my service was Bryton, and all I am doing is addressing my concerns and informing other Yelp users that decide to go with this company that there may be a different service tech each time. It makes people feel a little uneasy each time there's a new person in your home, - the only thing your service tech had to say was how all the techs have been unhappy which I assume is why there's a different one each time.The lady I spoke to Monday was very pleasant, however I asked to speak to the owner direct and never got a call. read more

I had them service last summer based on yelp reviews. Their service is pretty good, but only when they show up on time. .I called 2 weeks ago at their office to schedule pest service during weekend. They were supposed to service it today between 11-1 but no one showed up it is 2:30, I tried calling but no response, or never received a callback either, till date! I called to get an estimate on my home. We played phone tag and finally was able to talk. The guy on the other line was not interested to have my business. He was very rude and short with me and didn't have time to talk to me on the phone. He said he's too busy to answer my questions. Also when I asked how many employees he has and get a general idea about the company, he did not want to share any information to make me feel comfortable as a new client. I looked at the reviews, and since Yelp gives it 5 starts, that's why I called. They might have good service, I would never know.
