This company has been nothing but unprofessional. My technician, Ben, promised a 48-hour follow-up after setting traps but didn't return for nearly three weeks. When he finally showed up, the traps contained decomposing, maggot-ridden rats. He came out one more time, set sticky traps, and then I got bumped from his schedule for a scheduled 1 week follow-up. When another rat got caught and was still alive, I had to remove and dispatch it myself because Ben ignored my message. He tried to reschedule with me, then, he stopped responding altogether. Completely unacceptable communication. This company does not care about its smaller clients or basic follow-through -- avoid them. read more

After 2 months they told me $468.00 was just for DROPPING OFF bait boxes and bait. This company takes advantage of your situation! Prior to this, I maintained pest control every 3 months. NO RODENTS EVER SEEN DEAD OR ALIVE. They said after rodents take bait it will take 3 days to kill them. It has been more than 2 months and nothing, no rodents' dead. I cancelled my agreement! They came to pick up bait boxes. You don't even get to keep bait boxes FOR $468.00. At Amazon, you can buy same rodent bait boxes for $74.00 for set of four, PLUS BAIT. Amazon also has other options! Don't waste your money with them, they take advantage of the situation. Do your research and buy from Amazon! 27 years living here in AZ, never had a problem, didn't realize AZ had native rodents or that they were a problem; never have had rodents inside the home. I cover my outdoor furniture in our "winter" months for protection and leave cushions on furniture. When I removed furniture coverings to clean furniture and cushions, I found some droppings on the cushions (Action Pest Control said it was rats). For backyard snake prevention, we have "chicken wire" covering drainage openings and around gate opening because I had pets. I am sure if I didn't have that snake deterrent, snakes would have captured any rodents. read more

WORST COMPANY EVER! DO NOT USE! We had Action conduct an inspection on the house that my mom was interested in buying. The guy that came out found only ONE tube. We weighed the pros and cons of the house and ultimately decided to buy it thinking that one tube was not significant. Once she closed on the house we hired a different company to come out and do a termite treatment. They found evidence of termites in TWENTY FOUR places, all around the house inside and out! The guy even showed me holes in the walls of the bedrooms where the termites had been coming through. He called the infestation "a doozy of an infestation" and said that he would even rate it moderate to severe! We are baffled how these could have all gone unnoticed by Action Termite Co. Now my mom has to live in a home that is completely infested with termites, and who knows how much damage has been caused in the walls. It's unbelievably unfair, and I blame it all on Action for ruining this new home for all of us. She would have never had bought it had we known the extent of the infestation. The people that come out for the most part are nice. But when it comes to billing. They quote one thing and then raise the price. They tell me that they sent an email out about the price increase but not only do I never get it but others that use the service do not receive this email either. Last August they gave me a credit. This May when I called up I spoke with Irene who could not care less if I canceled. I would not recommend Action. The Customer service is piss poor. When I spoke to Andrea she said a ton of customers are not getting the notice either. Andra apologized for the inconvenience. Last year, we noticed termite tubes on a pre-purchase inspection and asked the seller to address the issue. They hired Action Termite & Pest Control, who confirmed the presence of subterranean termites and treated the structure. We bought the property and one year later the termite tubes are back. We tried to have Action come out to quote for another treatment and they ghosted us and never showed up for their scheduled appointment. We got quotes and treatment plans from three other pest control companies and all three said the surface treatment that Action performed was useless for subterranean termites since they never come to the surface. All three proposed drilling and trenching around the outside of the property in order to inject the pesticide into the soil where the colony lives, and after doing more research we learned this is the recommended approach for subterranean termites. Not only was Action's treatment ineffective, but they charged the seller $600 for it. The other pest control company we hired to do the job properly is only charging us $80 more and is including a 3-year warranty. read more

Had the home inspected for termites and was given a clear with no termites. We put the house on the market a few months later, and the home inspection company offered a termite inspection. They find a piece of wood that we used to move a shed, which my landscapers had brought with them. They say they see old signs of termite tubing in this 3x5 piece of wood, and now the entire house needs to be treated for $600. It's easy cash & they scare a first-time home buyer into getting. I don't trust them, and I believe it's a kickback partnership with the home inspectors! (Just my opinion) read more

The whole process from the estimate to the service felt very professional, knowledgeable and like they really cared about taking care of me and my home! They were the most reasonably priced, offered the best warranty for their services and when it came down to the service, left me knowing that I had chosen the right company. They are also one of the only companies that offered to allow me to make multiple payments. That was huge for me in this economy! Now back to Bill! He called me prior to showing up to let me know he was on his way. He was well spoken and very friendly. When he showed up (on the Easter weekend by the way!) he was in uniform, in a clearly marked company vehicle and thoroughly explained the entire process. Inside my home, he was great with my dogs and wore shoe covers which showed a lot of respect and consideration for my home. He took the time to look at the locations of both showers, sink area to determine the best way to treat the active termites and explained how he would treat the area. When he was finished, he took me through all the areas he treated to show me how he had patched all the drill holes and had put things back the way they were. It was at this point he earned his 5th star. Due to the holiday weekend and the office being closed, Bill put notes into the system notifying the office that I'd be making my first of two payments on Monday! He eased my mind concerning the processing of the payment, cleaned up his work area and left my family and I knowing that our home was treated properly and professionally. I contacted Action Termite because they came up as one of the top rated in the area for pest control, I was able to make an appointment that worked for my busy retired schedule (that was a joke) Art Diaz was the inspector and he was very knowledgeable and straight forward on all items and covered all the questions my neighbor and I had for him and left nothing to guess about, I appreciate competence when dealing with someone who claims to be a professional and Art defiantly is. He scheduled both my neighbor and I for service on October 4, 2022. On October 4, 2022, our technician Fred Flatt arrived and did an outstanding job of drilling, applying the product and filling the holes to where they are barely noticeable, I did tell him that I hope the company is compensating him well due to all the work he put into our homes. He was very friendly, on time, willing to educate and answer my questions. Pricing was quoted about $500 with one-year warranty or 5 years of $790 with warranty. There was a 3-year plan also, dont remember the price. I learned that our HOA does cover termite treatments otherwise, I'd have signed up with Roy. I had termites treated at my home while the drywall and bare concrete slab was exposed. The house had a infestation prior to the full remodel I did. The product they used was subpar to what I had asked for. I asked them to use termador and they said their product worked just as good. That was wrong! After about two to three months when home was complete the termites returned and were leaving tailings off my ceiling in my master bath. Their solution was to use traps they had to screw into my newly finished drywall. There are about 8 holes that are now patched on my ceiling that I see daily from this mistake of theirs. I took care of the termites myself when their traps failed to do the job. I used termador and the termites now haven't returned after two years of treatment. Save frustration if they won't use termador don't use this company. Update the owner reached out and painted my ceiling to make up for the mistake. They are under new ownership and I was assured they now use termador. Thank you for making the ceiling right. read more

I hired Action to help me with a carpenter bee problem, and they did a great job getting rid of them. HOWEVER, when they continued to show up to treat around my home, I got confused. I called to ask them to please stop spraying for things I don't need. They informed me that I signed up for a year contract, and sent me a picture of my signature. When I told them that the tec did NOT explain this to me, and that I want to cancel, they basically said "too bad". I asked them to please stop spraying on my property, but they ignored that too. Not only did they continue to spray (which I had NO need for), but they charged me as well. I have called numerous times to work this out, but they don't care. Before you move forward with Action, you read the fine print. Their tec's are very misleading. read more

Be watchful We paid for a 5-year contract $695. Not once did this company contact us for maintenance, send an annual reminder for termite inspection or call for inspection appointment. It was our responsibility. Needless to say, we had no service by this company during our 5-year, $695 cost. Our physicians, A/C repair, hairdresser, water delivery, scorpion sprayer, car maintenance, etc. faithfully remind us to set up appointment. When I just recently call Action, our contract had expired. The CSR was down right rude when I asked her why Action doesn't remind its customers. I think it's a legitimate complaint. It's 5-year contract is now $100 higher. When it came time to renew this contract, we received six statements from Action Termite. When I bought my house I'm AZ ewrly this year - the cockroaches had taken over. Action termite and Pest control was diligent in helping us find a solution to get rid of the cockroaches and AJ even made it an extra trip out when we still found some crawling around. No longer is it a cockroach world and we are living in it. They had treated the exterior and cashed our check and then we were on their schedule,which didn't work for us at all! We ended up having to pay again to a different company to take care of it. Got some reminders in the mail that I was due for the yearly inspection and was able to schedule over the phone. Tech was onsite for 10 minutes or so for the visual inspection both interior and exterior. Easy to pay on the website for the service. No complaints on my end. read more
