last week a Moxie technician came by. I was going through a difficult time and lost a close friend and beloved aunt within a 36 hour period. I mentioned this to technician who was very empathetic and kind. A few days later I received a kind note in the mail signed by the entire Moxie team (More than 18 heartfelt messages) it was full of love and kindness. This company is something else. Vanessa and Jonathan talked me into canceling an appointment n with Bulwark Pest control spending a long time on the phone just as charming as the Father of lies. So charming and friendly with promises of their wonderful service. I was gunshy because I had just been taken by another company and had to cancel a $880 check and my new debit card hadn't arrived yet overnight mail. After reading some bad reviews I called and Sweet Jonathan told me everything written was a lie! I never talked to such a sweet talking convincing salesman in my 79 years! I have a rat problem because I have a waterfall and feed birds. Anyway I made an appointment for the next day. I wanted to be sure I did not miss the appointment. I asked Jonathan to be sure to have the tech call me a half hour before heading over from his last job. The appt was from 4 pm to 6pm. Im handicapped and usually end my day around noon but spent the whole day cleaning the porch and preparing for the company to spray and put down numerous bait stations as Jonathan assured me the tech would put traps and bait stations all around my perimeter and no time limit on the call. He was sending his best tech for the first time treatment to be sure I had wonderful service. Even tho they wouldn't according to contract be back for four months after the first visit Jonathan said if I saw rats they'd come back as many times as needed FREE of charge! I asked him if I could write a check to sign up and he said fine. I worked and before I knew it it was 5:44 pm and no tech had arrived! I tried to call the office and it was closed. An AI asst said if a tech comes and Noone answers the tech leaves a notice on the door. I listen to my landlines voicemail. I have 5 landlines phones so I never miss a call. The phone never rang, but there was a message left by the so called tech from Jonathan's Tempe AZ phone no. The message said it was 4:23pm or so and Im outside your door! What a joke! The only person who had been around was the Home Depot delivery person leaving my porch full of items I was going to give the Moxie tech an extra tip for handing to me as Im handicapped and couldn't pick the stuff up from the ground with having to hold onto my walker. I called Moxie at around noon today and told them I was filing a complaint with the BBB so the girl connected me to cheerful Jonathan. Jonathan lied to me telling me he tried to call me 5 times and I didn't answer and since I was writing a check and didn't answer the door yadayada yada. I told him I was filing with the BBB. His true personality came out. He hastily told me "you do that just like you." I hung up!!! Buyer Beware! read more

We have been battling ants. Moxie has come out-for free-several times to spray and do bait boxes. Tristan came out today and was so hard working and knowledgeable! The guys are always super. I know people fuss about this company, but they got rid of a nasty scorpion infestation, so I am forever grateful! read more

Someone rang my doorbell. I am disabled and didn't answer. They rang a second time and then pounded on my door where I thought there must be an emergency. I also haaaave a NO SOLICITING sign. When I went to the door, the young man jumped in to his sale speech. When I told him I have the no soliciting sign, he said but this is such a great offer. Incredibly unprofesional behavior. As a company, do you train your employees to rip off the elderly/disabled? Your tech came to my parents' house, said there was current termite activity, and tried to talk my disabled father into signing an $1800 contract. We got a second opinion because we are used to having companies take advantage of my parents and it turns out the "current activity" is actually drywall tape. Your company should be ashamed of itself. You can actually see the outline of the tape in a square pattern in the surrounding area. We have been Moxie customers for 2-3 years. We never had a problem with pests inside our home, but our neighbors definitely did, so we figured it was just a matter of time. This past week we found two dead scorpions in our garage and some tiny (sugar) ants crawling around the edge of our master bath tub. Kris came out today in between our scheduled treatments to help us out. He was on time, professional and friendly. He walked our home with me, then treated the inside and outside . . . even finding the source of the ants which I had been unable to locate. Let's start out with the reason that I hired Moxie. Within our family we have members that are allergic to bees and wasps. Out here for whatever reason they always come and make a nest. Every time that we called they came in promptly and took care of the problem. Since they started they have been nothing but awesome. Today McRee Torres came by and did a fantastic job. The lady that took my call promised to take care of my problem. i had one tech come out with no results After paying them the second tech came out and told me that they dont do that. After 5 text messages and 3 emails with no response. my wife finally got ahold of them to cancel our contract. They are not giving us our money back. Sooo money down the drain with this company..... I just had Marquis come to my door. I have two non soliciting signs on my door. One says to please not knock or ring doorbell. I have an autistic son who is sensitive to noises. Marquis deliberately ignored my signs and proceeded to knock on my door. When I said it was rude to knock on no soliciting doors he continued to press on his sales pitch. When I asked him not to come back and he left, he laughed at me. If your sales people have this rude behavior it is a horrible representation for your company and I would never want to do business with you.
