I've been using Larson for years and have always been happy with the service. Today, I woke up, and my AC unit was off. Tried breakers, etc. Called and they had a guy out to my place within 45 minutes on a Sunday. Now that is fast! Travis did an excellent job. Turns out a wire had fried. Got me back up and running. It was already up to 82 degrees (see photo), so it was not comfortable. It's now blowing cold air again. Thankfully, I won't have to go to the hotel tonight. Keep up the great work guys! read more

Over the past several years I had been working with another air conditioning service provider in the valley. When spring rolled around this year during my planned annual maintenance window for my ac unit, I noticed a "$26 Complete System Check" promo offered by Larson. I figured this was perfect timing to connect with the team at Larson and schedule a visit. Scheduling was a breeze and the office staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. My technician James was running a little early for our appointment, and I was given the option to keep my existing service window or have him arrive early. We bumped up my appointment and he arrived right on time. James was incredibly polite, professional and paid close attention to every detail, making sure to clean up after himself. I fully expected James to find some issues with my AC unit as I know Larson operates by a different philosophy than some other service providers. My experience is that Larson likes to be proactive and give you the opportunity to tackle issues before they become emergencies (super important as your ac unit gets older). This can be seen as both good and bad depending on your goals and needs for your AC unit. The choice is always yours to proceed with the work or wait on it. I'm grateful they provide me with data and information to make an informed decision. In my case there were a few recommendations during the visit, and I chose to proceed with the most critical to remediate. I'm actually very thankful James found a potential bearing issue before my warranty was out. Larson was as good or even better than I remember them being when I worked with them at my old house. My a/c was cooling very well, but my split system air handler was leaking. Another company had said the entire system (9 years) should be replaced. Travis found a small hole through which the water would flow when the fan was blowing and blocked the hole. So far, the simple repair is "holding", and I appreciated Travis' expertise, ingenuity, and honesty about what I might expect going forward. He was terrific! read more

The service that was done was good enough, however the sales tactics and pressure was like dealing with a care dealership! I was given a bunch of numbers for services and then told more numbers if I join their membership. Then when I looked at the invoices some of the numbers weren't even the correct prices. I needed to dispute the numbers, thank god I had written all the numbers down for proof. I was told a price for sealing ductwork and then when it came time to pay I was told that number was for 2 systems even though that was never stated. They knew they were wrong and took that price off, which leads me to believe they knew they were trying to pull a fast one. Included in the membership are up to 6 sensors that they install, well AJ did not have enough at time of service and he would come back. I haven't heard from him since so I never received them. Also wasn't told that the membership is for 2 years so an auto- renew, if you cancel early there is a charge. Just know when you have them in your home you need to write down everything they quote so you have proof! It honestly was a horrible experience. Talk about feeling like you are being taken advantage of. read more

I'm so please that I picked  Larson to service my air conditioner.  My Trane air conditioner is just under 2 years old and I wanted to have a spring maintenance check.  In the past, I was disappointed with other companies because they would try to upsell me on work that needed to be performed, even with a fairly new Trane unit. My Larson technician, Tim was extremely efficient and knowledgeable.  I never felt rushed and he took his time to review the service he was going to perform.  Tim was so great and I decided to take out the membership.  Well Done! read more

Victor Oraco came out to service my air conditioner and did a great job. He was friendly and easy to talk to, while also remaining professional throughout the visit. He clearly knows his trade and took the time to explain what he found and answer my questions without making me feel rushed. It's hard to find technicians who are both knowledgeable and personable, and Victor definitely fits that description. My AC seemed to be working fine, or so I thought, but Victor identified a couple of issues that indicated a larger problem was just around the corner. After making the repairs, he clearly showed me the significant improvements in my system's performance. These repairs not only improved my AC's performance today, which should help reduce future electric bills, but also greatly reduced wear and tear on the system. Great company. Originally found them on Yelp. Just had a second AC unit replaced by them. They came out right away when we called. They sent out Saul. He clearly communicated options and we chose to replace since the unit was 21 years old. They definitely aren't the cheapest but the people are responsive and friendly and they use Trane products which I like. They also didn't try to nickel and dime us like a lot of AC places do. Install crew came the next day. Did full replacement of entire system in one day and threw in a few extra little things (no extra charge) and explained what they were and why. I called Larson to get a second opinion on our 2 AC units that another company suggested we replace because the compressors showed signs of failing. Larson sent their technician Kyle who performed measurements on the amperage at startup. One unit with a start assist was within range the other unit was out of range. Kyle was very knowledgeable and gave us options to consider. We decided to add a startup assist to the one unit that measured high. We appreciated Kyle's knowledge and professionalism. Fingers crossed that the units still have a few more good years in them. We have not used Larson before but we appreciated the professional approach and lack of scare tactics. read more

We recently had some work done by Damien with Larson Air. He was very good and gave her several options to keep the cost low. I would definitely recommend Damien. However, a few months back we needed to have some warranty work done and even though our issue was covered under warranty it ended up costing us over $500 for parts and labor. The parts were minimal so most of that was labor. They used out a house service that calculates mileage and time into the labor cost. Seemed very excessive to me. read more

Larson has serviced my AC over the years and replaced both my 2001 units awhile back. Their techs always appear in uniform and exude professionalism. Today, Dametrius, my tech, was asked to assess the ductwork to the guest rooms on the hot side of my house. He first inspected the AC and thermostat that serviced that area before suggesting 3 alternatives to increase the air flow. Minutes after he left I had all three with prices in my email. Wow! I am impressed and so glad about my choice to use Larson Air. From the first call to the office for a quote, I experienced exceptional customer service. I looked to replace two units and some adjustments to my condensation lines to correct a previous companies shoddy work. Drew showed up on time and was very professional. Told him I had three other companies quoting this and he stated just make sure they do a walk around the house and he will give me a documented quote to help me in the process for comparison. Measured every window and full two-hour review of my current ductwork and attic. I told him the previous company didn't do things right, but he stated the ductwork is correct, but condensation line is incorrect. Which I knew prior, because I had a smoke test done a year prior and a company wanted $3800 to reroute out of being plumbed to my sewer vents (not to code and not pleasant). Just my interactions with Drew and previous experience with customer service when I called, I knew they were the company I wanted to do business with if they were competitive. Install time was 7 am, they were here right on time with a full crew, and the crew was as courteous and professional as the rest of the Larsen team. Mike, Joel, John, and Charlie did a phenomenal job and happy with my choice. When taking off the framing around my attic access, they damage some drywall. That happens in construction or projects of this scope. Brought it to my attention and said they would schedule a drywaller to fix it. That's a standup company. Great job Larsen Air Conditioning and great to do business with a local company that customers mean something and they take it personal. read more

I just had Larson Air install a new AC/Heat unit on my home along with a duct cleaning, duct cleaning, and they opening in my roof to a larger size so that the unit could breath easier. I shopped around, checking out several different HVAC companies. Larson Air, and specifically their technician Saul, was 100% professional. Always on time, always responded to my questions via text when I had them. They even took away some old flex duct that was in my attic from back when I purchased the house, at no additional charged. Saul and team went out of their way to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with everything. And the best part? They have a killer deal going on with Wells Fargo where I was able to get the entire project financed at 0% interest for FIVE YEARS (that's wild). Wish you guys all the best! Thank goodness Sam Nunez, a Service Technician with Larson AC, was assigned to diagnose the problem with the main ac for my home. My unit failed to operate just when we were experiencing record setting temperatures. Despite other technicians spending hours and hours trying to determine the issue, Sam quickly figured it out, got ahold of the needed parts, and swapped them out - working into the early evening. They were friendly on the phone, were able to accommodate my work schedule, showed up on time, gave me tracking so I knew exactly where my technician was and even sent me a picture ahead of time so I know who to expect. As always, this is an honest review without influence of any kind. I had a, different review written, but I guess it was too long. Anyway, I think Larson is a good company to work with and certainly got me out of a jam with a new A/C system in just days and it could have been a lot longer. I dealt with several people from the company and they were all very nice, and genuinely tried to get me taken care of quickly. Still, there has been a big difference from the before and after. Somewhat of a disconnect, which is unfortunate, even after I called them. I was told someone would call me back, but it has been a week.... and nothing. A few examples. Again, everyone was very nice, professional, on time and more. The unit was much more expensive than I expected although part of that is a whole house air purification system that I purchased. They did not try to up sell me, which I appreciated. I was the one that actually asked about the air purifier. It was also a matter of days from initial contact to install, which was very helpful, and the unit seems very efficient. On the other side, there seems to be a lack of knowledge. First, the ROC requires an actual paper contract on jobs over $1,000 and I didn't even see a digital contract until all was said and done. I was told "sign here, here, and here." That is unusual for me, but I did. I later found out that one of those signatures stated that you agreed that all work was completed as specified. How would I know that? I didn't go up on the roof to look, and didn't even see pictures. I actually had to ask for a picture of the data plate of the system for records and to know a new system was actually put in and not something several years old. I also asked for pictures of the air purification system, but haven't received them, yet I signed that all was completed. I also signed that I agreed with all recommendations, and that was before knowing that if landscaping had to be removed, that was on me - but I didn't know that, and wouldn't have signed if I did. I was also surprised to see a crane sitting in my driveway, when I was told it would be on the street. I of course was concerned, because I had no idea if my driveway from the 70's could handle it. Seems that too would have been on me, but again I didn't know that, after being told differently by sales. The contract should be presented first, and I have stated that. I was to be called back, but it has been a week and nothing. That is actually why I waited. If I hear anything I will update. I also received no instructions for the unit or the air purifier, or even a link to them although I asked. Again, they seem like a good company and worked hard and efficiently, but there is a lot that could and should be done to ease the mind of the consumer, especially when spending over $20,000. Maybe it is just me, but I would suggest thinking about these things before just agreeing. Again, everyone from the company seemed nice and that they honestly wanted to get me up and running quickly, which they did and was very much appreciated. Still the disconnect after has been somewhat disconcerting, especially after I did call them and had a very friendly conversation making several suggestions to perhaps make it easier for the consumer who is spending quite a bit of money. I think they are a good company that does good work, but only you can decide how much you are willing to let slide. As always, that is the truth! read more

The new air conditioner had been purring along great until the the thermostat lost power and one of my units shut down. It turned out to be intermittent, so I called Larson to take a look at it. Initially, I was scheduled for a late appointment, but had a conflict, so the nice young lady that picked up the phone, cheerfully rescheduled. The service tech, Sam showed up to take a look. As I had experienced before with Larson, Sam was professional and had a great attitude. I explained the issue he went right to work. To my surprise, after only about 1 1/2 years, the condensation line had backed up. Sam took some great photos, described the problem and gave me maintenance options.
