I called to have my A/C checked just to make sure it was running properly during the Summer. While other companies would not even bother to come out saying "too busy" or "only working with customers who A/C units are not working", Cool/Hot Guys AC came out within a few days and did an amazing job. A/C wasn't working and called on a Sunday, Holiday weekend and got someone out in less than two hours. Julio came and very cousins tried to troubleshoot for well over an hour. He did several tests and took out the refrigerant and put it back in. Checked our attic and air filter. At first, it was most likely a leak and would cost to fix and replace the refrigerant but he was able to reuse the current refrigerant as there ended up not being a leak. Throughout the time he was there, he wasn't able to find the issue and for some reason the unit started working again and has since he left. There was no charge for him since he couldn't figure it out. One! Very honest and upfront. Two, I feel horrible he spent so much time in the hot sun up on the roof and wasn't able to pay for a trip charge or even tip him. I'm honest LOL y shocked that on a Sunday this company would spend time troubleshooting an old unit and not charge anything. This speaks volumes and would highly recommend their service and will use them in the future. I know with our old units they need to be replaced soon and will certainly be reaching out for some quotes. Thank you for all that you do and being an honest company. Our AC was not cooling below 80. I did call Joe in the morning he called 30 min later and told me his technician, Julio will come between 2-5. His tech arrived at 2 worked for 2 hours, our AC needed lots of Freon which got very expensive and Julio had repaired a leakage. I called the company number and Joe called back within 30 minutes and said he could come out the following morning to check out the issue. After evaluating that the compressor wasn't working and that I needed a new unit, I was provided a quote for a top of the line Trane A/C unit that was more competitive than all of the quotes I received (4 other companies). What a great experience I had with these guys! My real estate agent unfortunately had my AC units removed and had damage left. I was living thru the early hot temps this year and staying in the home. Jason found out when I called that I was living in the heat and came for an estimate within the hour. Two weeks later I had brand new Trane units and handlers put in. This estimate was the best I received out of 3 others. They don't make commission so they were very honest. My air conditioning went out Friday night of Memorial Day 3 day weekend. Was referred to Cool hot guys by my brother. When I called they assured me they would come out sometime Saturday, late afternoon. Being a 3 day weekend I was thrilled at the quick appointment. Julio ended up coming at 1:00 a.m., which I didn't mind as I wanted unit fixed. It was a no contact service call. He called me from the roof with the diagnosis and cost and promptly fixed it. He was quickly on his way and my air was fixed. The owner called a couple days later to get my payment. I recommend this company for quality performance and professionalism. Very responsive, professional and easy to work with. AC went out, called & spoke with Joe on Tuesday night, said he would add us to the call list and Julio showed up the next day at 11 AM. We have been over 110-degrees all week and greatly appreciate them fitting us in. In the end nothing was needed. The fan or unit may have overheated at the time. But Julio confirmed what was working, climbed into the attic to check on the compressor, checked all connections and no issues were found in our unit.
