Ever since we've been recommended Joe, we've always gone to him for all our AC issues. (I think we're unlucky cuz it's been different homes every time ) Recently, we had an issue and they weren't going to be able to see us until Monday. Honestly, I didn't mind waiting. I wanted to know we were in good hands. The universe was on our side and we didn't have to wait that long. They don't try to upsell for unnecessary services. They come fix what they need to fix and call it a day. My husband and I have recommended Joe to everyone that has an AC issue. We will forever choose Joe and his technicians! Thank you for keeping us cool in the summer! read more

This company was recommended to me by a reputable person. Unfortunately they came out couldn't determine the issue, said they'd contact the owner and get back to me. Never got back to me. I followed up and still stated they'd talk to the owner and get back to me and never did. Had to go with another company and they figured out the issue and will be replacing the unit. Unfortunate customer service has come to this. Response to owner: The tech that came out to my families house who I am the trustee on and responsible for all that goes on in and out of the house did not call me back. I called him to follow up. I don't leave reviews usually but I'm tired of crappy customer service and excuses. This is not a tenant situation by any means. read more

We have been using them for many years after they were recommended. We love they don't charge for a service call. It is the best marketing they could do. We always call them first. The even better thing is that they are very honest and will give you the options to both fix the issue or replace it. We just had an issue last week with an AC unit last week where it was not cooling. They came out a day later, found it was low on coolant and had a leak. They fixed the leak, put in less coolant then first expected, so the bill was even less the expected. They had us back up and running cool that night. Always my first call on any AC issue. I wanted to post a review because they do a great job. read more

In most cases, having a hot wife is a good thing. In my case it wasn't since we were in the onset of the summer heat in Phoenix and I was out of town. I contacted Joe who is my go to guy for anything HVAC related both for myself as well as my clients (I'm a Realtor) and told him to put us in the queue. When I got into town the next day I found out that we were in the queue for that day and it would be sometime after 8pm. I got a call from Tre that he was on his way and it took him all of about 15 minutest to diagnose and fix the issue. He had the part, he did the install and he was on his way! This is the only number you need to have, Joe and his crew are honest to a fault and I have never felt the need to get a competitive quote. read more

This company rescheduled a service appointment made over 10 days out without confirmation or approval, and I was only informed after I called them to check on the status of the appointment window. Do not depend on this company to keep appointments or keep you informed. read more

Wow! Talk about a company that isn't just looking to gouge customers and actually care for their clientele! Called their number to request a service call for my split AC in my garage in the peak 107* weather in June. They were booked solid and had an issue, but Joseph took my call and was going to book a tech for the next day (and for no service call, which is incredibly rare....you should change this as your time is valuable!. Texted my issue and he was able to troubleshoot with me step by step to solve it (mind you I am construction savy and do know a bit more advanced than regular customers) - simple $7 fuse fixed it. Will definitely use them in the future for any service calls or major issues in the future! Attic space is needing new conduits soon! Thank you! read more

Cool/Hot Guys AC - Fuse popped....simple fix! - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

Well, my air conditioner finally died after almost 28 years, which is really phenomenal, especially in the blazing AZ heat! The team at Cool/Hot Guys - Julio, Joe, Agustin & Damien were all fantastic. From the initial rescue, keeping me cool for a few days before the new TRANE unit install, which was very fairly priced. On time, trustworthy & honest Service I can't say enough great things about this team. read more

I called this company to talk about an annual service agreement. The owner, Joseph Bua, was such a pleasure to talk to. He said they don't do agreements and they are a waste of time. He explained why and for the first time after being a homeowner for over 40 years, what he said made perfect sense. He sent out his tech, Trey, to inspect my three ac units and he was absolutely the nicest man and thorough. I asked what I owed and he said nothing. Their inspections are gratis and I asked how the company can do this. He gave me the right answer and they are now my go to company if I have any issues. read more

Fantastic service. I called these guys due to an emergent situation and they were at my doorstep within an hour. They provided a no-BS explanation and had it fixed within a half hour. My only regret is not finding them earlier. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. Julio got my air conditioners running when others failed. If I would have called them first it wouldn't have cost me for hotel stays. read more

Been using Cool/Hot Guys AC now for several years on my primary residence, my investment condo, my girlfriend's condo, her small rental house, and my sisters home. They do their best to show up on time (sometimes last minute or very late into the evening), get you up and running (cool/hot) and always follow up to make sure you are going forward as reliably as possible. Joe and his company are the squarest company/people I have dealt with in a very long time. Trust them. read more

My job wasn't a large one or one that would be expensive for anyone to fix, but it was important that it get fixed that day. I called and Joe spent 15+ minutes trying to talk me through fixing it myself! With time running short, I asked for his next available appointment. Within 2 hours, Trey was there and repaired the issue!! Will definitely use again. read more

Just recommended these guys on Twitter & realized I didn't give them an outstanding review yet! They came out and completely replaced my 20+ yr old system w/ a Seer2 20.0 -2 ton Bosch and it is amazing! So were they! Professional, on time, installation to clean up was PERFECT and their pricing probably won't be beat! Couldn't be happier. Also, saved $40 on electric last month and water was 1000 gallons less. Hoping that is because of the heat pump/ac as well!! Anyway, thanks you guys! I hope some twitter friends, and yelpers call you! You are awesome! read more

We have used Cool/Hot Guys twice for heating and air conditioning services, and we have been so impressed with their service. They're so kind, they fit us in the schedule right away, and their pricing is the best in town. We recommend them to everyone we know! read more

A/C wasn't working and called on a Sunday, Holiday weekend and got someone out in less than two hours. Julio came and very cousins tried to troubleshoot for well over an hour. He did several tests and took out the refrigerant and put it back in. Checked our attic and air filter. At first, it was most likely a leak and would cost to fix and replace the refrigerant but he was able to reuse the current refrigerant as there ended up not being a leak. Throughout the time he was there, he wasn't able to find the issue and for some reason the unit started working again and has since he left. There was no charge for him since he couldn't figure it out. One! Very honest and upfront. Two, I feel horrible he spent so much time in the hot sun up on the roof and wasn't able to pay for a trip charge or even tip him. I'm honest LOL y shocked that on a Sunday this company would spend time troubleshooting an old unit and not charge anything. This speaks volumes and would highly recommend their service and will use them in the future. I know with our old units they need to be replaced soon and will certainly be reaching out for some quotes. Thank you for all that you do and being an honest company. I can't thank you enough and fingers crossed my unit lasts through the summer to save for a new one! read more

I called to have my A/C checked just to make sure it was running properly during the Summer. While other companies would not even bother to come out saying "too busy" or "only working with customers who A/C units are not working", Cool/Hot Guys AC came out within a few days and did an amazing job. Julio was the service person who was honest, took his time and looked at everything within the unit. He stated " you have a great working unit and nothing really needs to be done at this time." We all know, it's hard to find truly honest & reputable AC companies & this was so refreshing to see! I will 100% use them in the future and I just referred two of my friends/clients to them. It's no wonder why they have such awesome reviews! Best AC company ! read more

I love this company! After getting quotes from 6 HVAC companies to replace a 15 year old system, I am so glad I went with Cool Hot Guys. Joe the owner spent considerable time answering all of mine and my neighbor's questions and he was just so honest and upfront (unlike some of the other companies). Jason (salesperson) quickly followed up to secure the systems. My neighbor and I just had our new Trane units installed and we couldn't be more satisfied. Shout out to the scheduler Cheryl and the installers Antonio and Pedro and crews for an efficient and clean install. Forget the big name AC companies and give Cool Hot Guys a call for your HVAC needs. You won't be disappointed! read more

Thank you so much Joe, Jason, Julio & Antonio! I needed to replace my aging AC unit and Cool/Hot Guys AC was super quick, honest, and easy to work with. If you're shopping around save yourself some time and just call them first. read more

Hot Cool Guys AC replaced our 20 year old unit in September with an insufficiently sized smaller unit than the one we had previously. They do not stand by their work, and I would not recommend their services. Our home now won't get below the mid 80's in temperature in the hottest summer months. read more

American home shield needs to learn to chill... pun intended. These cool hot guys actually understand the mechanisms of air conditioners. Thank you!! Saved from the AZ summer. read more

Joe exceeded all of our expectations! You can tell he is just a great guy and loves what he does. After a bad install and shitty customer service from Cardinal A/C, Joe got my A/C up and running again. Wish I would've used him from the start. I highly recommend Cool Hot Guys!! read more

We used this company to inspect AC prior to our purchase of a new home. Due to a miscommunication from an ambiguous invoice and request for further documentation, I received this response from the owner. I am just so hurt that I was treated this way... "Amanda, your complete lack of knowledge and understanding of this matter has completely eroded my patience. This is the last email I am writing in this matter. You can either call me and I will explain your incompetence to you or (and I would really prefer this second option) your clients can call me and I will explain it to them. Thank you, Joseph L. This is the kind of company you hope exists when you have issues with your AC! Joe is extremely responsive, diagnosed the issue with our AC unit quickly and had the job done in under 30 minutes. Joe and his company are honest, have integrity and it's clear they prioritize doing right by their customers. An example is sharing education on how you can troubleshoot things yourself, and we really appreciated the honesty and zero attempts to upsell anything. So thankful for a gem of a find in this company, highly recommend! Thanks again for being awesome Joe!! read more

I highly recommend this company. The owner is amazingly knowledgeable, fair and honest. If you need repairs, or a new unit you will not go wrong calling this company first. Our air went out Saturday evening, and the owner actually came out at midnight to fix our unit. He diagnosed the problem in minutes and repaired the unit. He didn't even charge us because it turned out to be a simple issue. I can't give this company enough praise. Very pleased at the service. read more

This weekend, my A/C unit started blowing out warm air around 9pm. I called the company number and Joe called back within 30 minutes and said he could come out the following morning to check out the issue. After evaluating that the compressor wasn't working and that I needed a new unit, I was provided a quote for a top of the line Trane A/C unit that was more competitive than all of the quotes I received (4 other companies). Coupled with the fact that they could come out the very next day to replace the unit on my roof was much appreciated! The crew showed up early, and finished the task in great time. Amazing customer service, price, and execution! I'm happy to recommend and use them for all future A/C needs. read more

AC is working well and the house is cold again. outstanding service, the same day. What a great experience I had with these guys! My real estate agent unfortunately had my AC units removed and had damage left. I was living thru the early hot temps this year and staying in the home. Jason found out when I called that I was living in the heat and came for an estimate within the hour. Two weeks later I had brand new Trane units and handlers put in. This estimate was the best I received out of 3 others. They don't make commission so they were very honest. Pedro came out and put my new units in and fixed all the damages and made it look and feel great in my home. I am now nice and cool and happy! Thanks Cool Hot AC guys! You acted on it quickly and understood the importance of this and took care of me quickly. I also have a five year warranty and ten year of annual visits :) read more
