Unfortunate customer service has come to this. Response to owner: The tech that came out to my families house who I am the trustee on and responsible for all that goes on in and out of the house did not call me back. I called him to follow up. Their awesome service starts with the nice woman who answers the phone. As opposed to all the other companies who sound annoyed to be speaking with you- this nice person is helpful and courteous and doesn't make you feel like you are interrupting a Judge Judy marathon. Chuck is the tech who responded to my house and he was just awesome. He did extensive trouble shooting and looked at every possible issue which could be contributing to the problem. Chuck installed a new fix and also educated me on how to watch for potential problems that may arise. I really appreciated his expertise and professionalism. There was never any attempt to up-sell anything at all. Chuck attacked the problem almost like he was fixing his own AC- which I appreciated. He wasn't rushed and didn't have to be in and out in five seconds like so many other companies. Chuck was very thorough and did a great job of educating me on what his thought process and how things work. As a bonus- Chuck installed my new 3rd Gen Nest thermostat. Did you know if a "Nest Pro" installs your Nest- you get a free five year warranty? From the standard two years- you get an extra three- just by having a professional do it. How cool is that? I'm so glad to have found Accurate Air and Chuck. No one wants to have AC issues- but I can tell you it's nice to have the best people standing by when you have that "Aww crap" moment and your AC is not working. Give them a call and see what the Best can do for you. Thanks guys!

Owner refuses to take responsibility and evaded questions. He said he had documentation of the work, but the only "documentation" was their invoice. He said he had "screenshot" of a "phone record" of them reaching out to us to schedule a "maintenance" call, but provided no proof. Then he said it's "up" to us to "schedule" "maintenance" calls. I'm a layman, not familiar with the trade; I wouldn't have paid them for "maintenance" if I'm the one to know when to "schedule" maintenance. If you want to save some headaches and time, and not lose money, go elsewhere. Update: After leaving the review, the owner contacted me for half of the refund, claiming that he already issued me a "refund". I was actually charged $136 for their "service" call + $431.30 for their "maintenance" plan. in total $567.89. The "service" call resulted in +$1700 of repairs they said needed to get my HVAC working again, when in actuality all that was needed was changing AC filter, which they said they did but didn't do. The sham "service" call wasn't refunded, and now they're offering $285. Really?! For poor, dishonest, unprofessional work to rob you of your money. Maybe back then they were ok, but now, you'll be sorry if you hire them.

This is a bit lengthy but deserved. In Arizona, air…read moreconditioning is as important as water. Without it for nine months, you would suffer. We bought a 50-year-old home four years ago. The AC unit was at least 15 years old and struggling. We approached different companies about service and repair; one tech, Sebastian of Reiss Air Conditioning, shined in explaining the challenges of our old system and nursing it through three summers. This summer it would give out, so we asked Reiss for some solutions. They came up with a plan to replace the AC unit and update the old duct distribution system. Such a project would also require installing a new electrical panel, to replace the original. We can report that the project is completed and we couldn't be more satisfied in the work. What made a challenging project attainable? The expertise and customer focus of the Reiss crew. First, every Reiss tech -- Antonio, Phoenix, Marcus, Pablo and Marco -- was professional, on time, conscientious and patient. We set appointments and were reminded the day before and day of. Each respected our home and our time. Second, Jedi and Zane completed the switch to the new electrical box without a problem. They identified unlabeled connections and finished the project with clean tags for each appliance and location. Third, Brian and Stephen at the Reiss main office worked with us on the specs of the project, available discounts, comparable substitutions and problem-solving. They were responsive and straightforward. This was a month-long initiative due to permits, etc. but Reiss led every step of the way. And we were without AC for only half of one day. Finding a trusted partner for crucial home projects can be daunting; we recommend Reiss and the team that served us wholeheartedly.

2/17/25: Quick history - our unit is about 8 yrs old, installed by Goettl. We have had issues w/…read morethem from day one. Be it poor communication, to misinformation, to techs not putting the fuses back into the box. Needless to say, we have experienced a lot of crap w/ them. Their latest? They wanted $473 to fix/replace the whip, which apparently covers the wires outside (see photo). They didn't "want to scare us" but said it's a fire hazard; they told us this after doing their inspection, then sitting in their van for about 15 minutes -- it felt as if they were simply out there, planning their latest scheme to bilk us out of money. Needless to say, after this latest scare tactic, we opted to get a second opinion with REEis A/C. Whoa, what a difference? REEis sent out James, who was very friendly, clean, professional, NO SCARE TACTICS. :-) He jerry rigged (or should I say James rigged) the whip, simply pushing it back up into place. Who knew it was that easy? It didn't stay that way, but more on that later. James did point out that our dryer lint was blowing back into the house & building up (something Goettl never pointed out, insert angry emoji). A couple weeks later, we made the appointment to have James come back to clean the dryer vent and try again w/ the whip, as it fell back down. The whip he simply zipped into place with two zip ties. I imagine that won't last forever, especially in the AZ brutal summers, but at least it will give us time to save up money until we opt to have REEis replace it. Whew! The dryer vent was Nasty w/ a capital N. He cleaned that out lickity split. I must say, our dryer seems to be operating much more efficiently since then -- and now we know to call REEis in another 3-5 yrs to have it cleaned out again. James did mention their membership rate during his first visit but he did not apply any pressure at all to try to get us to sign up -- which is very much appreciated, and is one of the reasons why we are going to cancel Goettl's stupid Sadie membership and get on with REEis.

Don arrived first to address my plumbing issue, and quickly & efficiently replaced a leaking hose bib after giving me a quote. He quickly found the problem and cleared the clogged drain line, explaining throughout what had caused the problem and steps I might want to take to avoid future problems. He flushed plenty of water through to determine everything was functioning 100% again. He was extremely thorough and pleasant to talk to.
